Copper Kettle in Cannock Chase

Shepherds pie was mush consistenty of baby food chips not cooked enough, second visit sorry won't be back,staff are lovely at least coffee was nice.

terrible place went in ordered a can of dr pepper and it exploded everywhere i didnt need to be sprayed with dr pepper today

Will not be visiting this cafe again staff do not wipe the tables once crockery has been removed ready for next customer did witness this and it wasnt busy so no excuse for poor hygiene , ordered a meal didnt new it contained sweetcorn or garden peas explained to the lady i cant have it due to health condition she took the meal away brought the same chips back in plastic bowl and said ive scraped the meal off so you shouldnt get bits of sweetcorn or garden peas in the chips didnt offer something else at the same price so chips was left ,avoid this place

So I was out playing pokemon go to get some fresh air but the air became really salty because of the rain, I was walking down past the bus station when I noticed what I thought would be a nice cafe, I went inside and to my atrocity there was staff demanding for me not to sit down and they had forced me to stand like I was some kind of hoodlem being arrested they then stated I had to purchase an item of edible value but the burger looked liked it had warts and the teas I had was blue when I asked for either earl grey or green tea.

The food was absolutely vile, I ordered a simple sandwich and the mold was awful not to mention the staff looked at me as if I was worse than a used condom on the floor

Right so I was just out on a nice walk when god decided to let the heavens rain down on me , so I thought I’d treat myself to a nice little drink in this café , and there was someone’s hair in the drink , now I could forgive the hair however it was ginger so now I’m just sad

Hi guys Jiz scit has returned upon revisit i was shunned yet again for an attempt to lick the windows like Jlos curves however this time I was sent into a tard rage so hard i grabbed the kettle off its hinges pissed in it then ate it whole

Nice little cafe in town centre. Location very approachable. Staff is lovely and clean cafe. Food is nice as well. Good for a quick snack or tea or quick bite. Good for money, portion can be improved though but happy with service overall. Will visit again.

Service abysmal staff unhelpful we had burger chips salad the burger resembled a burnt lump of lard tasted like it too salad consisted of 1 leaf of lettuce and 1 piece of cucumber chips over cooked our experience forget it and expensive fir such vile food and staff give this place a miss at all costs yuk

Absolutely disgusting staff. They spoke to me like I was a wrapper chucked on the floor. They was rude and very loud. Every time i have been here I’ve had hair in my food, I think it’s absolutely disgusting.

Today I have had the great misfortune to visit this cafe.Whilst waiting 30 minutes for my meal ,which turned out to be completely microwaved,I witnessed food just left on work surfaces for far to long and a total shambles everywhere.The things I saw were at best unhygienic and at best dangerous.I saw one person prepared to serve food which had not been heated correctly (only 62 degrees on a food thermometer)before being stopped by another member of staff.When my meal was served it looked like the contents of a babies nappy.The supposed liver and onions had no visible signs of either.When I returned my meal I stated my thoughts but I might as well have talked to the coffee machine.There is NOTHING to commend this cafe and given the poor practices they use maybe they should consider closing the doors before they poison some unsuspecting customer.

Come here regularly with friends for lunch. Wide range of food, always done well and you can't argue with the prices either. Hot drinks the best in Cannock too

Would I recommend this cafe? Not really. Had 2 tea, sausage and tomato sandwich and a sausage and bacon sandwich which came to £12.70. I know prices of food have gone up but after checking prices on the board it seemed like this price were just made up. (cheap butter, sausage and bacon aswell, plus my partner even said the tomatoes tasted funny) I'm not going to argue over a few pennies though as it seems they need more than me but come on please, have some pride in the food and establishment. Now if you do fancy trying here, don't eat in as tables arent cleaned of the used plates and cups, then just before we left they collected them but the tables never got sprayed down or wiped clean, dirty floors, chipped cups and plates and then top top off you get miserable staff. I've been to quite a few cafes in the local area and this comes out last by a mile. Plus the griddle where food is cooked looked like it had just been recovered from a house fire, hope they clean it over before they close. Yak!!

Visited to have a quick lunch. Staff were really pleasant and well mannered. Lots of different choices available. The chips were to die for! Homemade chips and they were really tasty.

Beautiful home made food's and lovely staff too, food is well priced and the food comes to you quickly if it's not overly busy. I'd recommend this little gem in Cannock Town centre bus station 🚉. Have a cuppa whilst waiting for the bus 10/10

Took kids there for brekkie! My sons was served a sandwich with mould on the bread and didn’t spot it till he started eating the second half! Their response well he has eaten most of if so why should I give you a refund!! Very poor customer service that! I won’t be visiting again!!

Not a bad lil cafe, food a reasonably priced (8 item breakfast), lady serving friendly and helpful. Not the cleanest looking establishment but clean enough, a hark back to the greasy spoons of my youth

Called in to get dinner.had Shepherds pie mash and peas.delicious.hubby had proper home made chips.staff very friendly.if you want nice home cooked food go here.if you go by bus its right by the bus station up the steps.better than fancy pub grub.

This is the ideal place to get a breakfast sandwich when you are in Cannock.The food is good and the prices are reasonable.The poaition of the Copper kettle is such that it can be reached via the Shopping Arcade or vis the Bus Station

Ordered our food first others came in after us got served, ate their food and left, we were still waiting! Steak should have been medium, it was partly well done, partly medium, middle was raw. Enough said!

Having travelled to Cannock on the new X51 bus service from Birmingham it was great to find this cafe opposite and overlooking Cannock bus station. You can reach it by some steps from the bus station or via street level in the shopping centre then go to the first floor. toliets are also on this floor.Great atmosphere, friendly staff, plenty of room. Tea and coffee served in proper cups and mugs and sandwiches made to order. Hot food was also available but I had another bus trip to do. Fully recommend this cafe

Been today waitress moaning about other members of staff. Moaning because she's pregnant and how she didn't want to work there. Didn't clean tables properly floor was dirty sandwich was cold and came out on a chipped plate. Shame really because we popped in about 6 months ago and had a better experience.

Great food and staff nothing too much trouble

Didn't have what I wanted. Faggots, so ended up with cottage pie that was okay nothing special. £13.00 though. Would go again if I had too.

This is good wholesome food at a sensible price. Smashing mugs of tea and chips that taste the way they used to ! Watching what was going on it is clear the guys have regular returning customers who were warmly greeted by name. One bit of advice, although it was a Saturday it was not busy and sipping our tea the staff were given plenty of time to throw a wipe over our table, covered in sticky tea and sugar. They didn't.

The Copper Kettle is a small café inside a shopping precinct. It is managed by Tanya and assisted by 5/6 other ladies. they serve breakfasts roast dinners, meals with chips etc. they also do the best toasted teacakes(with butter). and you always get a warm welcome. Having been to Spain and around Italy recently I can honestly say they serve the best coffee I have ever tasted.

Good food, but long wait times. It's overpriced and has small portion sizes. However, it has a nice atmosphere and is in a convenient location. WiFi would be great though...

Hot food freshly cooked,cold food and sandwiches are excellent..also the service from tanya and the girls is very, very good..cafe is situated by the bus station in cannock and well worth a try.
