Toby Carvery Worcester in Worcester

I used to come here regularly last year. Today my partner and I were disappointed, the price went up(£15 about) , the quality of the food and quantity down(literally 2 slices for a king size). It's a shame...

I went here yest 16th jan for breakfast with friends.The food was beautiful. A credit to Kim who looked after us she was very friendly and helpful. The manager kayne came round to make sure customers were OK with their service and food. Would definitely go here again for breakfast

Had a too good Togo breakfast today, very poor quality, items just dumped into one container, no consideration for how your meant to eat and enjoy individual items . Would not recommend this to anyone

Again I have to stress , just how embarrassing it was for us . We tell people how good the change Was and what a let down it was too . Food was cold , roast potatoes were over cooked , selection of veggies was rubbish and again cold . Then, the famous gravy was just dyer . And to top the lot there wasn't any mint sauce , apple sauce . We were well upset , this is not Toby Carvery at it best . Another let down was my husbands birthday celebrations 🍾 . Not happy at all . All the hard work was gone in such a short time .

Great carvery and pudding as always. Slow carver, maybe get his up to speed on less busy days as over 20 minutes queueing. Please don't sit tables of two next to a table of eight and 10! Overall: great! Server: Kaitlyn =)

Lack of care and empathy when I complained that the pancakes had so much ice-cream on top and put into a tiny bowl that we were physically unable to get them out. They went like a soup and my son didn't eat them. Waitress response was she didn't make them!

New Years Eve 2024 was our first visit to a Toby Carvery for many years and it will be our last! The food was very poor - fatty roast beef, rock hard roast potatoes that couldn’t be cut into, and overcooked vegetables. The mashed potato had horseradish in it but no way of knowing this until my unsuspecting husband had put a forkful in his mouth. The Pepsi Max from the drink dispenser was watery. The service however, was excellent and the Yorkshire puddings were good.

Kiera was our waitress, she was very friendly and attentive! Food was fantastic with quick service too. A lovely Sunday lunch, highly recommend!

I met up with my family on the 21st of December, and we booked Toby carvery in advance. The service was good, but the food was terrible. The gravy was lumpy. The vegetables were overcooked, and a long wait, you asked the cooks a question, and it was like they couldn't be bothered I said cooks because there is no way there was a chef in that kitchen I will not go to that restaurant again

Kiera our waitress was fantastic :) lovely meal and very kind and adaptive to our needs! Really made the experience enjoyable

The food and service are never great but with a kids eat for £1 voucher code I thought we would give it another go. But £34 later I definitely regret it, that was just one adult and 2 children. So one child was full price and so was the desert of the child eating for a £1. Meat was very fatty and barely given any, gravy was like water. Definitely won't be returning.

We were really disappointed with the whole experience for our Xmas dinner. We chose tobys because any other day it has been good for all dietary needs, this time the option for vegan roast was just stale old vegetables which had obviously been out under the heat lamps for hours and gravy. It took staff ages to replenish some of the other things like potatoes and stuffing so we were waiting in the queue until those who had already been served their carvery had half their food gone cold. Once we had finished our measley school dinner nightmare mains we were left for 35 minutes waiting for the deserts, which were not worth the wait. During this time we had to listen to two other parties around us complaining and asking for refunds for similar reasons. We would go one step further than not recommend to others but will actively warn against paying nearly £70 per head for something that wasn't worth £5 per head. I just hope the extra cost went to the staff who were clearly over worked and miserable.

The service was so brill, our server Kiera was great she was so lovely and kept checking on us making sure we were okay. Food was great and the atmosphere as a whole was so welcoming in general and staff.

Seems like food is standing out for a long time, roast potatoes extremely dried out, they were rock hard, mash didn't taste right, beef was tough, missing dishes such a macaroni, just hard bits of pasta left, they were dried up, the vegetables were dried up, lumpy gravy and the meal overall was just warm. After tasting a small amount of the above item's I left all the meal. Serving staff were helpful and said to wait for more roast potatoes to come out, which I did, but the rest of the vegetables were still there, still dried up so I didn't have any more from the carvery. I was not going to pay for the dreadful meal which I couldn't eat. I wouldn't eat there again and wouldn't recommend that carvery.

Every year the dog walkers of St Peter’s have our Xmas meet up meal here and it’s lovely as we get the back area to ourselves as there are around 40-60 people. However this year is the worse year as there’s a new manager who’s very rude. We got all squashed into the claustrophobic echoing stuffy glass area room. It was awful, could barely move or hear from the noise. I had to keep leaving the room as I felt sick and dizzy. We had 2 staff members trying to bring food to us rather than previous years where there was more staff and it was so organised. They took ages bringing our food out, but not blaming staff I blame the new management not organising or planning the rota. The manager wanted to stuff us in a tiny room as he said “it might get busy & want walkins in the back room”… What on a random Tuesday night at 7pm? We did check the room during our time there & only saw a couple of people sat in that area, so we could of had that area and had a more relaxed chilled atmosphere. It’s safe to say everyone agreed that next year we will now start having our Christmas meet up meals in the Harvester. I guess if he catered kindly to all 40 of us rather than keep avoiding the event organiser and then not come in on the night this could have been avoided. Roll on the harvester next year!

For a quick carvery get here. Fairly cost efficient during these times but not bad at all. Don’t bother trying to book over the phone though, it always says the times are fully booked.

I have been going here for many years. Always had a good meal and the staff are friendly attentive and prompt. It has been our favourite restaurant for many years. Always top of our list for places to eat out and good food and value. Highly recommended! Visited again in March this year and staff were great and as usual food was lovely. Special thanks to Kiera our server who was attentive and polite.

Had a take out dinner,and I'm so dissapoited my serving of meat was terrible 1 slice of turkey and 2 small shabby prices of beef, it was a small set dinner not how a carvery normally is, it's obviously an opportunity to get something back, very tasteless gravy, I really am dissapoited

Brilliant food, great atmosphere and great service by our waitress Kiera, who was very friendly and helpful and sorted out everything perfectly. She made sure we had a great experience! Only downside of the visit was that no one came to the entrance stand to sit us, and when a staff member passed they ignored us. Great place!

Ben served us, and usually always does when we go in. Always helpful and always cheerful, which makes a difference to the visit. Food is pretty good most of the time too.

Terrible food. Overcooked dry meat, burned cabbage. Roasters hard as a rock and burnt. Very unpleasant meal. And it's not the first time. This place has gotten worse. Used to love toby

Worcester Toby today, absolute horror. Waiting lines for food, no chef for 15 min, empty trays no yorkies, overcharged for a 12yo paid 15. Dry food and no turkey

We like going here as the food is usually pretty good. We went to take advantage of the Black Friday offer. Dan was a great server, checking in we were ok and didn’t need anything at the right times and was very polite too.

Friendly atmosphere. Spacious. Hygenic. Lovely food. Reasonably priced. All You Can Eat Breakfast was only £6.99. Carvery has choice of three meats. Delicious desserts.Overall carvery was good. Roast potatoes were a bit overcooked.

Dan, the server was excellent; professional and friendly. The food was okay - the veg a little undercooked which did spoil the meal overall. The guy carving was all friendly and helpful.

Went today and had their festive dinner. Had the salmon and white sauce pie. It was terrible. Half the pie you could not eat. I couldn't get my knife and fork in it was hard as rock. Left it and told manager about it and he said the waitress said I ate it all. I said if i ate it all how did I show her me tryingg to cut it? He said hes has a few complaints about the salmon. The veg wasn't very good either. It took a while to get the bill right. The service was very slow Went in about 12.30pm and we all went to our cars about 2.45pm There were 7 of us in the party and we all said we will not go again.

Service was good, very friendly. But, unfortunately, the food was not up to scratch. We had a carvery & found everything so dry & bland in taste. First time there. But, we tried it ,but, wouldn't go there again.
