Food came and was stone cold, gravy was lumpy

it was cold and mash was mixed with collyflower very mushy roasters were over done couldn't eat beef as it was just fat same for all meals not very nice meal

Food veg always dryed up cabbage to watery never fresh vegetables to dry carrots hard roasters dry I use to come a lot but had bad meal

Fabulous atmosphere very relaxed not rushed

Delivered fast, but the food was still cold and tasted like it had stood for awhile

Nice meal carvery probably the best around Worcester ✅

Sunday is all about a carvery, but today it may as well had been vegetarian as the amount of meat that was served was very much below average. And when asked for a bit more I had looks and attitude and then given a sliver of meat. For the price of 15 pound it wasn't worth half. I have been here 4 times so far this year and each time it gets lower and lower with value. I'm not one to run any business down but I have to say, Try to steer clear....... Not for the public looking for a hearty, value for money meal.

Called in for breakfast. What a mistake. Bacon was uncooked, and the black pudding was harder than the plate. I did have sausage beans ete but it was all cold.

If you are a vegetarian beware. I ordered a vegetarian option. Only to find I was charged £15.49. On top of the carvery price! Whereas I have never been charge extra before! Staff refunded me when we queried the bill. They also tried to charge full carvery price for 2 children! We won't be going back.

Disappointed that you ran out of Roadt Lamb so soon after opening. However meal was nice, veg not over cooked and very good service by Emily.

Walk in and head to the bar to order our buffet breakfasts served by a rude barman. No guidance on where to go, where the buffet is or where the drinks station is. Seating was limited causing us to sit in a area that had chairs across restricting the area but any free tables had empty plates and glasses on them not cleared away. We head up to get our breakfasts to find the pile of plates available were all dirty with food still on them. Once we had our clean plates we found the selection to be quite poor. The bacon was absolutely disgusting like it had been cooked in brine and everything overcooked. The best items were the bread and beans. Went up again to get beans on toast to find all of the plates available again covered in old food and just vile with another customer of theirs mentioning they are all covered in food. Just shocking throughout and doesn't deserve 1 star. Go for breakfast elsewhere as this place is dirty, unhygienic and a terrible atmosphere.

The driver couldn't find us all the app clearly showed where we were . Food was dry and over cooked nowhere like the food when you eat in we wont be ordering again.

I don't usually respond with a review, but this meal was superb so I had to. Everything was just right and it made two people very happy. The guy who delivered the food was friendly and very polite which was a bonus. Thank you.

Ordered a sausage bap for delivery it came with one extra burnt sausage, cut in half. Food was inedible, then they refused to refund us…

Food as nice and hot, albeit dry. Chefs/Carvers looked like they hadn’t seen a fresh set of chef whites in over a week. General hygiene surrounding food questionable. Service good, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about. Weird vibe walking in, felt like a pub for locals only.

roast pots were rock hard. No mash. Beef all fatty. massive blob of uncooked stuffin. quarter pot of gravy. well disappointed this time. if I lived near I would of taken back for a refund. i won't even give to my dogs. so annoyed.

Lovely dinner and made all the better with the attentive staff. I feel awful that I don’t know all their names but the lovely tall am in the white shirt is so caring and does his upmost to please everyone! Big shout out to Ben who works there, we didn’t have any children with us but watched how lovely he was with them and took time to listen to them and follow up their requests and checked with parents first. He was also lovely to us and looked after us too. He didn’t stop working the whole of the time we were there.

My partner and I decided to go here for breakfast. On arrival we were encouraged with how busy the place was and the welcome from the young girl on reception was absolutely on point, sadly from there the experience swiftly went down hill. I first went to get a cup of tea which is located near the buffet food area. I noticed there were no edible eggs available and the tinned tomato bowl only contained juice so decided it wasn’t a good time to collect food so went back to my table and drank half a cup of tea before trying again. When I returned there were still no eggs, so I asked the guy behind the counter if he could get some for me and he replied that they are always coming and would be here in a few seconds. I decided to put my toast in the rotating toast machine at that point so that it would be nice and hot for when I chose the rest of the items. The bread was not toasted on the first pass so I put it through again and the toast returned burnt. I knew that if I did the same thing again, I would end up with the same result so decided to stick with by burnt toast. The eggs had still not arrived. I stood and waited for a good ten minutes and still no sign of eggs, The guy who I had already asked for eggs was behind the buffet area moving a few things about and asked me if I was only waiting for eggs, He made me feel as if I could have my food without them. I replied that I was just waiting for eggs and that I didn’t want to take other items from under the heat lamps because I didn’t want the rest of my food to get cold while I waited for eggs. Eventually the eggs arrived by which time I had thrown the original piece of toast away because it was stone cold and burnt myself another slice. I plated up, just about leaving the skin on my hands from the ridiculously hot plastic spoons that were there to serve your own food and took my breakfast back to my table. The food was very poor quality, the hash browns were tough and inedible, the mushrooms appeared and tasted like they had been there for days. The eggs were overcooked and everything else was just very poor. I ate some of my meal and left a good amount, despite this being all you can eat. Who would want to go back for more? I did go for another cup of tea and noticed clearly dissatisfied people hanging around waiting for eggs again. I wouldn’t return here for breakfast and the experience has put me off returning for a roast dinner. There is a Harvester just across the road. I would recommend that you go there instead.

Plate was cold for the salmon en croute plus poor level of sauce so meal dry. Carvery was good lots of variety. Staff, Ben was very good and helpful.

Accused of lying!!!! Had a meat free carvery, I'm 38 years old and don't eat meat. When the bill came, 3 meat carvery's were on the bill. I said sorry mine was meat free. The young tall blonde male waiter said 'no it wasn't because you had a round plate not a square plate' - I said I've never eaten meat my whole life. He said who served you? as in the staff that cut the meat. I was given a plate I had no idea about the rules. Completely rude. I had even told him before going up I was getting a meat free one. Soooo rude.

Very poor, buffet empty, hash browns, had undercooked at the bottom, burnt on top. Sausages and bacon always on a wait, with a queue waiting. Staff working in a coat, A very poor visit, and wont be returning for breakfast.

I used to come here regularly last year. Today my partner and I were disappointed, the price went up(£15 about) , the quality of the food and quantity down(literally 2 slices for a king size). It's a shame...

I went here yest 16th jan for breakfast with friends.The food was beautiful. A credit to Kim who looked after us she was very friendly and helpful. The manager kayne came round to make sure customers were OK with their service and food. Would definitely go here again for breakfast

Again I have to stress , just how embarrassing it was for us . We tell people how good the change Was and what a let down it was too . Food was cold , roast potatoes were over cooked , selection of veggies was rubbish and again cold . Then, the famous gravy was just dyer . And to top the lot there wasn't any mint sauce , apple sauce . We were well upset , this is not Toby Carvery at it best . Another let down was my husbands birthday celebrations 🍾 . Not happy at all . All the hard work was gone in such a short time .

Had a too good Togo breakfast today, very poor quality, items just dumped into one container, no consideration for how your meant to eat and enjoy individual items . Would not recommend this to anyone

£36 for 2 carvery’s, advertised with cauliflower cheese which it wasn’t, the peas were rock hard, stuffing inedible and soggy yorkshire puddings. overpriced and not worth it

Faultless service provided by Kiera today. Great selection of hot tasty food. Pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend to all. Will be returning again for sure :)

Lack of care and empathy when I complained that the pancakes had so much ice-cream on top and put into a tiny bowl that we were physically unable to get them out. They went like a soup and my son didn't eat them. Waitress response was she didn't make them!

New Years Eve 2024 was our first visit to a Toby Carvery for many years and it will be our last! The food was very poor - fatty roast beef, rock hard roast potatoes that couldn’t be cut into, and overcooked vegetables. The mashed potato had horseradish in it but no way of knowing this until my unsuspecting husband had put a forkful in his mouth. The Pepsi Max from the drink dispenser was watery. The service however, was excellent and the Yorkshire puddings were good.

The food and service are never great but with a kids eat for £1 voucher code I thought we would give it another go. But £34 later I definitely regret it, that was just one adult and 2 children. So one child was full price and so was the desert of the child eating for a £1. Meat was very fatty and barely given any, gravy was like water. Definitely won't be returning.

I met up with my family on the 21st of December, and we booked Toby carvery in advance. The service was good, but the food was terrible. The gravy was lumpy. The vegetables were overcooked, and a long wait, you asked the cooks a question, and it was like they couldn't be bothered I said cooks because there is no way there was a chef in that kitchen I will not go to that restaurant again

We were really disappointed with the whole experience for our Xmas dinner. We chose tobys because any other day it has been good for all dietary needs, this time the option for vegan roast was just stale old vegetables which had obviously been out under the heat lamps for hours and gravy. It took staff ages to replenish some of the other things like potatoes and stuffing so we were waiting in the queue until those who had already been served their carvery had half their food gone cold. Once we had finished our measley school dinner nightmare mains we were left for 35 minutes waiting for the deserts, which were not worth the wait. During this time we had to listen to two other parties around us complaining and asking for refunds for similar reasons. We would go one step further than not recommend to others but will actively warn against paying nearly £70 per head for something that wasn't worth £5 per head. I just hope the extra cost went to the staff who were clearly over worked and miserable.
