Never been disappointed with the food, nice little pub and good selection of alcohol

Came in with family have been many times before for drinks which always has a very good selection. At the moment, children are at for 1 pound, which is absolutely excellent. Myself and husband enjoyed the cowboy burger, which was absolutely delicious. The children enjoyed chicken tikka curry . Throughly enjoyed this , service was fabulous with a really good team of staff 👏 very accommodating and super friendly . Most definitely will visit again

Lovely welcoming staff always have a cheery smile on their face. food was delicious came out quick and really hot. Be back soon for definite.

Food is excellent as you would expect, I have allergies and the staff are always accommodating with my requirements. The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

I use the oakapple on a regular basis it’s dog friendly and we’re made to feel welcome everytime we pop in the staff are great and the food is excellent I’d recommend it to anyone

Haven’t been in for a while. Wow what a change in atmosphere- it feels totally relaxed and inviting! Haven’t eaten yet but will be back to try, the deals look really good. Could actually be a local compared to the past. Can’t wait to be back

Apart from the loud SWEARING on the Big round table We have children but again it's always your answer it's a sports bar. Shame on the guys and women who spoil it for others But it's always the Big round table people sitting around it loud SWEARING

The Oak Apple has a good selection of draught beers, lagers and ciders as well as plenty of bottled drinks. The food is very reasonably priced and the staff are always helpful and friendly.

Highly recommended mega mixed grill / cowboy buger for those food lovers out there such a warm calm place to have some food the staff are amazing friendly and very helpful for any of your needs and always great u with a smile food is checked up on and tables are always clear and the prices are well worth it

Lovely staff, great energy, great space. We come here every friday and sometimes tuesday and wednesday. The food especially the cowboy burger is too good! A great selection of food and snacks , reasonably priced. The booths are comfy and spacious. Stan the kids programmes and love a home under the sun episode 😗!

I had booked a mothers day three course meal. When we arrived we was able to find out reserved table. I had ordered mine and my mum's dink and was able to pay for this towards the end. My mum and myself both had the prawn cocktail which was lovely, and for main we both had the lamb shank, this was outstanding. Was little big as both of us struggled to eat it all. And pudding was toffee apple pie and cherry chocolate bomb. The gaps in-between the courses was perfect. We did not feel rushed at all service was brilliant. Was a shame that I could not give a tip from the end total as I had no change and I wanted to pay this by card. Overall experience excellent and I will be back. It does not bother us about the football being on , pleased both sides.

Tried to phone to confirm booking no answer tried several times. As booked online had message to say that the booking was not confirmed and you would get in touch as this was a booking for 14 needed confirmation didn't want to turn up to be told there was no room

Overall experience was brilliant the staff couldn’t be more helpful and the meals were about a 7 to 8 out of ten the only thing what would of been better was the knowledge of what they had for sale and could tell the customer what they didn’t have on the menu before the customer choose there meal , but luckily there had everything we wanted except a banoffee pie . Sky sport’s football on show with a opinion of darts and pool but unfortunately as they were very close to each other you only could play one at a time

We had a group booking for 18 people. The table was beautiful laid, crackers were great too. Staff were very helpful and very welcoming. We did have a long wait for food but they did explain why, and we fully understood. The food was lovely, just what you would expect for a Christmas dinner. Parsnips needed a few more minutes to cook, other than that it was fine. We would go back in the future. Thank you to all the staff.

What can I say since the new management have taken over what a turn around just the garden needs a bit of tlc ready for the summer more entertainment so marstons give them more funding they can keep up the hard work well done gav Michael and the team its a 5 star from me

Massive turn around from the last 3 people who just couldn't get running a pub right. Now the Oak Apple 2023 has New lease of life. It's always a very warm welcome from all staff members. Food is amazing. First time coming here this evening Lovely and clean, friendly service from the staff It was tea time, so I expected a long wait. To my surprise, the food was fast and absolutely lush children's portions were huge.would highly recommend.

Went to the Oak Apple for a last minute lunch with my Mom. We had the lunch meal deal of main & pudding. Till system a bit complicated but bar tender was lovely. We had a great welcome and overall service. Food was great.

We sat for a long time chatting and inspecting the menu and eventually ordered the hunters chicken and the fish and chips (table 19) Simone (SIM) was quick, efficient and polite with a bright smile and genuinely friendly, she made us feel very welcome as did all the staff. Great fish with light crisp batter, not greasy and the chips were fabulous, crispy crunch with a full fluffy center. Drinks and puds were good. Our only complaint is you pull your finger out and enable card tips for staff - we had no cash but would have happily given a fiver to it...maybe you could help us out and donate in the meantime?👍😁 Well done all.

We regularly attend the Sunday night quiz but went early to eat. We were particularly impressed by the crispy chips. Service was good. The food was well cooked and hot. Will definitely come again.

Came for brunch with friends, fantastic food from the chef Gavin (general manager). Lovely bar maids. Grate management from Michael and Gavin, lovely to meet them both. Will definitely be coming back for food in the future.

I would highly recommended this eatery ,table number 1 .It was great booth location with. We heard that the Oak Apple was under new management so we decided to have a meal there surprisingly it was a very nice experience the food was top notch and so was the bar staff/services Emma and Lauren I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I have now visited the Oak Apple on many occasions recently and have been even more impressed each time. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate any need or special request. The food is in my opinion the best in Worcester and very competitively priced.

It’s so nice that our local pub is welcoming at last! Under new management this pub is finally improving. Went in this evening for a glass of wine and the tables are no longer sticky! We had the Argentinian Malbec. We were served by Sim. The wine was a lovely temperature. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, but tonight thanks go to Sim for great service.

Visited this place last week , and what can I say other than absolutely amazing!! From the moment we walked in we were made to feel like family by Gavin and Michael, the Halloween decorations were absolutely amazing and the whole place was so clean! The food was outstanding also, fair enough to say this will not be our last visit !! We really look forward to visiting you guys again! Thank you for such great service. Its really hard to find it these days! Well done to the whole team x

The food was amazing we had a roast dinner for 7 people the roast beef was melt in the mouth and really succulent the roast potatoes to die for and the veg cooked just how I like them would highly recommend 5 stars

Booked for a family get together of 20 people. Staff were lovely and accommodating before the day and throughout the meal. Everything ran very smoothly and we all had a great time (mix of adults and kids - aged 3-8). We'll definitely come again.

Not been here for since it’s changed management .. has always been my local for me and my family for many years , but not really used it for about 6 years .. came in today and had a really good couple of pints and cheesy chips were great 😊

I’ve seen a big change for the better in the oak apple in the last few weeks since the new owner have taken over. Sim behind the bar is very welcoming and the whole pub seems like it’s had a new lease of life.

What a turn around !! We have been coming to the oak for years , thank goodness it’s been taken over it’s all clean & welcoming now .. couple of teething problems food was lovely just not hot I’d say more lukewarm but still nice . Unfortunately we were sat in the lounge which was lovely to start with clean & cosy especially liked the Halloween decs , but then in came a group of lads who couldn’t talk they had to shout & the swearing was disgusting the vaping wasn’t ideal either , they could see we had a 2year old & a 9 year old with us . They maybe would of been better off sitting in the bar section or in the area with the pool table .. it put us off so we didn’t stay for pud . As for the service it was 5* plus right from Gavin getting in touch about the booking the girl who served us our food was lovely ! We will be back just at a different time & day maybe . We would recommend the oak it’s definitely on the up !! Well stocked bar etc !

Went back today and can confirm the new management team have made a real difference to the place. So much more welcoming and food was great. Can recommend the house salad with buffalo cauliflower wings, classic burger and chocolate fudge cake. We had soft drinks. Will definitely be going back again soon! Sept 2023 Arrived 7:45pm on a Wednesday. Took a while to be served, only to find the Kitchen was closed - not the first time we have been and found this! They agreed to provide dessert but our first 2 choices were not available. Ended up with a Rocky Road Sunday where they had to substitute brownie for blood orange brownie. Also sticky toffee pudding which was very stodgy/pasty. Will not bother trying to go for food again. Such a shame as used to enjoy going here regularly.

This was our first time going to the Oak Apple for food since the new owners took over and we were really impressed. The salad with BBQ cauliflower wings, was the best version of that dish I have ever had! My daughter also really enjoyed her classic burger and chips. We had been nervous about about going back after bad experiences under previous owners, however we were so glad that we did and will definitely be going again!

It’s been a while since I’d been in the oak Apple but I have to say the food was good value for money and the service we got from Sim was very good, greeted us with a smile and had the banter to go with it. Will definitely be going there more.

Service very slow small pub I waited that long I couldn't taste the food when I ate it I'm diabetic if I don't get food within 20-30 mins ....not a good experience A whole group of footballers xane in very very loud sat right behind us very vocal full of excitement if their match My first visit there ...there won't be another

Food was awful! Dried up wings & ribs, too dry to eat, no sauce although they should have come with BBQ sauce. Cheese bites were tasteless as was Mac & cheese. Would never eat here again. It was cheap but inedible.

Good food slow service but very helpful staff but under staffed

My Wife & I stopped here on our way home from Manchester, mostly to use the EV charger nearby. We decided to have food, which did not disappoint. The owners had only taken over that day but that made no difference to the service which was excellent. I'll stop there again when charging & definitely use the pub whilst waiting.

Nice pub,friendly staff and nice little quiz night

Such a shame, nice pub and restaurant just a pitty they allow vaping inside. I thought 🤔 smoking was banned, to me in any form is still vaping. As an asmatic I struggled to sit there. Good okay, service okay but more a locals drinking pub than meals.

Seems like the previous management have gone and a deep clean is currently well underway. Great venue with the potential to create some real memorable and meaningful moments with friends families and acquaintances Alike.
