I had beef and cashews the beef was fatty and covered in a white gooey substance absolutely disgusting haven't eaten rang up just to be told not their problem rude staff

Truly awful. I've never had such a bad experience as i have tonight, the food wasn't even edible. I called to ask for a partial refund and even offered to take the food back as it's not been eaten and all I got was no the food is good related back to me several times then he hung up on me and refuses to answer my calls again. The beef chow main noodles were so fatty and oily and the beef was also fatty and gelatinous, we couldn't eat it. The chicken in the sweet and sour was so hard and dry that it wasn't even chewable. Please save your money, it's not worth it.

Really not good at all. Overcooked and a soggy mess

I would have contacted them directly to resolve this but you can only phone so no way of showing pictures and don't want potential arguing on the phone. I ordered duck in plum sauce, it came with watery sauce separate and just about the whole bit of duck in the tray was sliced fat. It was chewy jelly. Not a scrap of meat on the fat, literally just strips of pure fat. I had 4 bites of duck aside from that. I think this must have been a mistake and i was given the offcuts instead of the actual meat? Would have preferred to email the pictures to get it resolved but there is no email address. Fast delivery but still very hungry over here!

Have used this takeaway for 25 years but never again. Was told food would take 45 mins - called after 90 mins to be told would be with us soon. Called again after half an hour to be told it would still be another 20 mins. Staff were rude and abusive - awful service. Will find another Chinese that doesn’t treat loyal customers this way

Awful! Dry dry and dry! Ordered Singapore chow mien, char sui pork chow mien, pancake roll and salt chilli crispy beef, there is an ocean somewhere missing salt. The mien’s were sauce less, dry, overcooked and lacking proteins. The pancake roll was undercooked and only had 3 bits of very white chicken, very disappointed to spend £32 on what seemed like the dregs of the kitchen.

I hadn’t used this place for years, I decided to grab my partner and myself a chow mien on Monday night. Me being a fussy so and so requested no prawns in my mixed chow mien. Sadly when I got home I unfortunately had prawns in my dish, at the time it was very disappointed but I called back and requested it was replaced. It was not convenient to replace at the time but two nights later I called and the lovely member of staff honoured her promise and replaced my meal. My partner had a veg chow mien, I had a mixed meat chow mien with curry sauce and we were both very impressed. When in Lichfield I would certainly use again!

Absolutely would not recommend. If I could give zero stars I would. Didn’t deliver my curry so I called up to them them know, for them to argue with me an call me a liar… Someone else then called me back and did the same and told me they wouldn’t do anything to resolve this… They hung up the phone and I was left without one meal. Will never order again

Tried a few other restaurants and was disappointed. In my opinion Lichfield House is the best Chinese in Lichfield. Every meal we've had has been really tasty and delivered hot. I have found a lot of other restaurants very bland but Lichfield House food is fab.

After some disappointing meals from other Chinese restaurants I decided to try Lichfield House, and I’m glad I did, all of the food we ordered was piping hot and delicious, char Sui pork, egg fried rice, Singapore chow mien, crispy wan tons, salt chilli shredded beef, huge pancake roll and chips, the Singapore noodles was packed with meat and the char Sui pork was excellent, so many takeaways are tight with meat……..very very good!

The takeaway we had last night was "disgusting" is the only way to describe it! Don't even bother, a complete disgrace to the Chinese population!

Ordered £40 of food for a family of 4..Regular customers. My wife is a pescatarian so ordered a main course of King prawn in fruity sauce ..What came was definitely NOT prawn .When we called they wanted to charge more to put their mistake correct. Won't be using this establishment again .Pescatarians don't eat a meat in fruity sauce. Annoyed by the mistake and the fact they won't rectify their mistake having checked our order with themtwixe prior to delivery .AVOID

Best Chinese in Lichfield!! We always get our takeaway from here - the food is always piping hot and delivered much quicker than the estimated time. Always delivered with respect and at distance during Covid. Their crispy chilli beef in particular is always super crispy and yum. Recommended!!

Best Chinese I've tried in Lichfield, the others have been very disappointing. The food from here was good quality and reasonably priced.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that was the worst meals I have ever attempted to eat in my life. I ordered one of the meals in the chef's commendations. I was delivered an utterly disgusting sorry excuse for a meal. It's seems the "chef" (a title they definitely don't deserve), just took some ingredients threw them in boiling water for 10 minutes and served that. What ever you do NOT order from here. The review are clearly fake with only a few word replyes proberbly paid for. I am utterly shocked that they would charge 15 quid for the garbage I just ate. Save your money and eat a wet sponge it will simulate the experience.

Visited the new gatehouse yesterday lunchtime,we found the staff were welcoming and the beers were good also it was great to be able to sit outside.

The food was lacking in flavour, had no taste and it looked unappetising. in my opinion, i would not recommend it.

I visited the gatehouse weatherspoon this week with my husband for lunch. We both ordered fish and chips. My fish was raw in the middle so I asked for another cooked piece of fish. It took so long to that my husband had finished his meal when I started my second meal. The second fish was still not cooked properly and it was watery. We have always had good food at the many other weatherspoons we visit. We will not return to this one.

Food came early so that was good, my food tasted nice. Though the crispy chicken was just chunk chicken... My dads ribs were tasteless, we all passed it round for a taste for second and third opinion, Yup, tasteless. The ribs didn't have bbq sauce, or any sauce on it in that matter. Half the won tons didn't have filling in them, it was just a plain fat crisp.

Went there last night asked for special curry without mushrooms egg fried rice and barbecue spare ribs. The ribs were ok the sauce was crap' egg fried rice was as good as any other Chinese I've been to' the curry came with mushrooms though I Didn't want mushrooms the curry sauce was like dish water absolutely the worst curry I have had the misfortune to spend money on. I don't normally do reviews but feel that this place was a massive let down I will stick to the Lombard and try any other Chinese . I would have to be starving before entering the house not got a good word for them . Sorry to say

We just went in for a coffee and it was very nice. Usual JD Wetherspoons decor, comfy seats and pictures of the local area. Good aircon too - it had turned very warm all of a sudden.

Went to the gatehouse Monday night,Mexican night,meal and a drink for less than £7 excellent value and great food. Good selection of real ales and wines. Nice friendly staff food delivered about 15 mins after ordering.

Fui en aquí el viernes por la noche en la medianoche junto con algunos amigos para una última copa antes de que el taxi nos recogió. Había 4 de nosotros pero sólo uno quería una bebida alcohólica, el resto quería agua. El barman preguntó a mi amigo por su ID, que produjo. Entonces, él pidió para cada uno vigilara ID. No tuvimos la nuestra, ya que había ido a un espectáculo y para una comida y no creo que sería necesario. Entonces el barman nos dijeron que ya que no podíamos producir nuestro ID que no podía servir. Queríamos agua por el amor de Dios!! Nos sorprendió mucho su actitud, pero la izquierda ya que no quiere hacer una escena. Los jóvenes de nuestro grupo era de 22 años y yo era el hijo mayor de 51 años, una antigua novia en su noche de despedida de soltera. No creo que ir allí otra vez en cualquier momento pronto.

Yo estaba en Lichfield haciendo algunos negocios, no conocer la zona me jugó seguro y fuimos a Wetherspoons Gatehouse. Era un bonito lugar y me gustó mucho el aspecto limpio, bonito mobiliario y clientela decente.

Es tan conveniente como visitante para poder usar un centro de la ciudad para desayunar. wetherspoons pub Muchos hoteles cobran sumas muy grandes para el desayuno, pero es extraordinariamente buena relación Wetherspoons. Aquí la buena vieja cuesta £3,25 y desayuno inglés una bebida caliente con rellenar gratis es solo 99 pence. ¡Qué ganga!

clean tidy venue. Did not eat just went in for a pint.Bar was understaffed so had a long wait despite the pub not being busy. A beer festival was on which was well advertised in the pub but they only had one bitter on! The other Wetherspoons is a lot better as they had around 5 guest ales on. I got served so much quicker in the other pub! Strange how the quality of service and product availability can alter despite both pubs being in the city centre and only a few minutes walk apart!

They had what we ordered. They have changed the menu slightly, but you can always ask to see if they can still do what you want. One of our party wanted sausage and mash and they managed to rustle some up. Great. Always happy with our food here.

I have visited this pub for a meal many times before, usually the service is great, it has a great atmosphere and the food has been good. Today i visited to enjoy a breakfast somthing spoons usually do very well, unfortunatly on this occation they did not. I orderd a traditional breakfast which for some reason came with a quorn sausage instead of the meat sausage which was orderd, no explanation was offered when i received the meal so when i discoverd the problem i thought i would mention it when a staff member asked me ' is everything ok with your meal', a check which is now universal. Unfortunatly I wasn't asked this and so i can only assume that the staff were aware they had fobed me of with a 'nasty' quorn sausage and were now trying to avoid me, a tactic I will now be employing myself. It is also worth mentioning if the vegatarian sausage was 'mixed up' with a meat one this raises serious questions as to wether this kitchen is complying with food safety laws.

This is a typical Wetherspoon - fine but no frills. It does what it says on the tin - so to speak. Nice fire places, spacious, decent beers.

Came here as we've had some really lovely wetherspoon experiences, but this disappointed us. The chips were hard, my panini was burnt and my fiances fish was tasteless and the batter was inedible.

This is such a busy pub, first two times we entered over last few weeks we left as there were no tables available, it's that popular. Anyway, passing yesterday fancied breakfast and had full English, my wife sausage bap.....meals were brought promptly, good quality produce and well cooked.....and service with a smile. All in all, very pleased and we will return.

Dropped in here before Christmas for a quick drink and fish and chips. Great value near the centre of town. Will visit here again if shopping in Lichfield.

We regularly visit Wetherspoons in our area of the West Midlands and further afield. We visited the Gatehousein Lichfield for breakfast. The barman was working on his own as it was fairly quite. He was extremely friendly and polite. The breakfast was very good, my porridge was hot with a generous helping of blueberries and my toast was toasted perfectly. My partners traditional breakfast was well cooked and hot. As some other Wetherspoons we have visited suffer from poorly cooked and cold food this one deserves a pat on the back. We recommend a visit.

Came with friends for drinks early evening and the fab fish n chips! Really is nice place to eat and have a drink. Even on the busy Sat nite didn't wait long at all for a drink!Prices of course are great!

I can’t say that I look forward to going to a Weatherspoon’s as my natural inclination is to be a bit on the snobbish side but I can’t say that I have ever been disappointed with a meal at one of their pubs. My friend and I were looking for somewhere for a quick lunch so we popped into the Gatehouse. It was the first time that either of us had been there and we were surprised how busy it was. There were 3 people in front of us ordering food and I was concerned that we may be in for a wait for our food but my anxiety was unfounded. The food arrived promptly and was well presented on proper plates – none of this planks of wood nonsense. I had the mixed grill and my friend had the gourmet burger and with drinks it came to just under £17. We both acknowledged that we have paid much more for inferior food at other pubs.I must just praise the bar staff who were obviously busy but were pleasant, friendly, and efficient. New Year’s resolution: I must stop being such a snob.

Usually Wetherspoons deliver but today they were sadly lacking. The chap behind the bar ignored me for several minutes while he finished 'playing' around on the till. Our breakfast arrived quite quickly but was cold, it wasn't busy so not sure how they can get it so wrong!!

I am normally pleased with food at this chain of restaurants but was disappointed on this occasion. The staff numbers were clearly inadequate although they were cheerfully trying their best. Vacated tables were not cleaned and we had to remove debris before sitting down. We asked for the table to be cleaned which was only done in a perfunctory fashion using a damp cloth with no antiseptic spray. It was not dried and clearly any bacteria would have been merely spread wider. That cannot possibly meet minimum hygiene standards. The Sunday lunch was not perhaps the best choice and one meal was not helped by the lack of the sauce that was supposed to be included. When this eventually arrived the meal had nearly been eaten. It is always a good idea after a few minutes to ask a table if they have all they need - the staff clearly did not have the time to do this. They were all pleasant when they actually appeared and it may be that a little more training in the basics is required. The hygiene issue is clearly very important and should be given immediate attention if anyone from the Gatehouse is reading this note!

Visited this pub on a Tues. afternoon. Ordered two steaks. Meals came in under 15 mins. Cooked to perfection ! Well presented. Very impressed. The staff were very pleasant and efficient. Couldn't ask for more. We will return in the near future. 10/10

Second visit, can not grumble its not expensive.However recent visit, no onions, cheese missing off burger, it was soon dealt with and onion rings replaced sautéed onions.chips were just warm but not worth hassle of sending It backIt was early lunchtime, so the staff obviously not had chance to prepare all side dishes.Partner had English breakfast.

You can usually rely on Wetherspoons to get a reasonable meal at a great price and the Gatehouse ticks the box for a wide range of choices. Meals are quickly served even when quite busy although you could not call it fine dining, more an upper level McDonalds.The layout of the Gatehouse is very good with different areas so that this gives a better dining experience.

Typical Wetherspoon. You can rely on them giving you a wide range of drinks and food at reasonable prices. We sampled the Prosecco and Devils Backbone, both of up which are standards in all Wetherspoons. The fish and chips were superb. Staff were efficient. No grumbles here.

We popped in for a quick drink as it was pouring with rain outside. My other half is not overly impressed with Wetherspoon pubs, and so he cannot recall what this place was like before. I personally used to visit it a lot when I was much younger. Disappointingly nothing has changed as far as I remembered it. I found it so dark inside when I did use to visit it a lot, and it remains so. They could do with either better lighting or better taste in the decor! But the food and drink is cheap, and if you cannot afford a lot, and want a pub atmosphere, then this place is for you !

Called in The Gatehouse for Lunch it was busy plenty of little rooms to sit and dine, had the Fish very good price with a drink, food came within 10 minutes very nice will be going back.

Just a normal weatherspoons pub was ok friendly staff and quick service only problem was the night we called in was busy with the world cup rugby a lot of the tables had not been cleaned at all,meal itself was just normal weatherspoons grub

Weatherspoons so you know what you are getting and not bad for the price. It was steak night so food was cooked to order.

Well, we did regularly go for breakfast (each weekend) and have experienced one or two issues but generally good food. Service can be slow and cleanliness is not top of the shop. However, a few weeks ago we went and we found Paul to be particularly rude, we attempted to take a seat and was shouted at that the table was taken, although there was no one at the table and it clearly hadn't been occupied. Anyway, we found another table which was dirty, I politely asked for him to wipe the table over, he stormed over to the table and briefly wiped about a third of the table and stormed off again! We decided at this point we no longer wished to stay for breakfast, I spoke to Paul at the point to let him know that we found him to be particularly rude this time, he half heartedly apologised. We perhaps wont go again for our weekend breakfast as there's plenty of other places with lovely polite staff who appreciate the continued business.

Busy place but they still manage to get the food out quickly and I'm yet to experience an overcooked steak at this pub. Its quite a pretty place for a pub in town; with comfortable seating and a log fire.Great for a quick bite to eat.

Went for lunch after a break of training for work. When ordering at the bar, the service was good, efficient but I didn't get a nice, welcoming vibe. I had to wait a while before I was served at the bar, even though I could see a member of staff pottering around behind the bar doing nothing, I wasn't served. I was served by this member of staff when another staff member had called her to have a private conversation with her - this was when I finally got noticed.. The food is good for the money, very good quality. But the customer service let it down.

We visited on a busy Friday lunchtime . We managed to find a table which had been cleared but not cleaned. The staff were really busy so I just wiped it over with a wet one. We chose off the Fish and Chip Friday menu. The offer was really good value. I had fish , chips, peas,a little pot of tartare sauce included was a soft drink all for £5.25. The meal was good and you got a fairly big piece of fish in batter . Considering how busy the restaurant was the meal came really quickly. There was no interaction with the staff as they were really busy they just gave us the meal and walked away .

Having used Wetherspoons regularly, and all over the country. This pub was an advertisement for the inconsistency of the chain's policies. In the vast majority of Wetherspoons, if you order a breakfast you can exchange the awful grilled tomato for a mushroom, a simple tap of a button on the till makes the magic happen, but not at the Gatehouse. "It's Against Company Policy" was the reply of the server. That in itself was dissapointing, but not as much as the aggressive response from that same server who informed me that if I didn't like it "other pubs serve food". Apparently (as was explained) mushrooms are very expensive?Within 4 miles of this pub, other Wetherspoons are more than happy to keep the customer satisfied. They make the change without hesitation. Wetherspoons costcutting on what could possibly be a 5p mushroom cost them £14 that morning.

Standard positive Wetherspoons experience. Staff were friendly and attentive. Everywhere was clean including the toilets.

I ordered a Guinness and a Tomato Soup. The Guinness was perfectly poured and the soup was restaurant standard. I complimented the chef, ordered another Guinness, which was perfectly poured by a different member of staff. Then I noticed the plaque by the bar. Well done, everyone at The Gatehouse.

First time I have been here and today visited with my family, was very surprised by the quality and service. The food was hot and tasty and served in a timely manner. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere pleasant. We will be making a return visit soon! Great kids menu and doesn't cost the earth a family treat without breaking the bank! Great place!

This is a Wetherspoon's pub so we know what to expect and they delivered it exactly. Reasonable food at reasonable price. Very much what I expect from this chain.If anything, they may have been a little short-staffed this evening, but it didn't affect us too much.

From my last review you can see they did not perform well at all. We visited for a quick late Sunday Lunch (Around 5.oopm) to be exact. Tables were clear when we arrived and grabbed a table. The wait was around 5 minutes at the bar and ordered food. Manager had come from behind bar and was cleaning up and helping waiting staff. We ordered two Sunday lunches (beef) a pint and a glass of red. Order efficiently taken and processed, asked if we would like extra gravy. (Normally they don't ask, I always ask for it). Meals arrived within 10 minutes and piping hot. All items well presented. After 5 minutes meal check by the manager and everything was good. As expected excellent value and the beef was very very good. Worth more than the 7.95 paid for the meal. Redeemed themselves from our last visit

Superb coffee and cake, friendly staff and very clean. We had a quiet time sitting with our drink and cake.

The pub has everything you would expect from a wetherspoons. We came in order to get some lunch whilst out in the city centre. The inside is pretty small so finding a table isn't easy!

I can not agree with the last few reviews. Having never visited Lichfield before didn't realise there was a wetherspoons there, spotted it so breakfast was a must. Breakfast was presented very nicely on the plates the young gentleman that brought it to the table was very pleasant an well spoken also the bars staff were very efficient at there job. Would have no qualms about visiting again.

Loverly day decided to sit outside the gatehouse circa drink with my 2 small dogs,something which we have done several times, we were just deciding to eat when a very abrupt young man came out ( poss a manager) and told us we had to go as no dogs allowed!!!!!!!!!!! We was outside tell me a law that forbids this, very very very disappointed in this pub chain !!!!!!!

We visit the Gatehouse 2 times per month, food is good value, drinks included on some prices, Most days have specials ie., Tuesday/ Steak, Thursday/Currys, Friday/Fish plus many other dishes to choose from.

After visiting Bole Bridge in Tamworth in the morning where the staff were really friendly, I must say this must be one of the most unplesantest Wetherspoons Ive been in. The Staff when serving were miserable and didn't look to enjoy their jobs at all. Would I visit here again..no

Food at 5:30 on a Saturday. Waiting staff/management had lost control of dinning area. On the platform a gang of 5 lads and a girl had taken over the corner.They took up three tables sitting one or two on each.Vapping away in a cloud of vapper drinking bottles.We took a table the other side of wall. Food was good to the normal standard. Tables were all a mess around us.Young waiting staff were rushed and flustered. Starter arrived and when collected we were told we will cook your mains now. Waited another 15 minutes.Arrived and was good.No the best visit we have had a lot lot better visits to this venue in the past.

My wife and I called in to the Gatehouse whilst visiting Lichfield.SERVICE (Bar staff) - room for improvement. There was no queue at the the bar, but I still had to wait (albeit only a short time) for staff to end their conversation about their boyfriend/girlfriend problems before I got served.SERVICE (Waiting staff) - excellent. Lots of smiles, polite, helpful, and service was checked. Couldn't've been better.FOOD - my wife had a curry and I had a chicken burrito. The burrito was okay, but a bit dry. It was plentiful, and came with various accompaniments (again, plentiful).VALUE - despite the dry burrito, the vale was quite good and - as is the case with this chain - all of the drinks were very reasonably priced.OVERALL - not perfect, but certainly very good.

Generally most Wetherspoons are pretty decent and this is no exception. Inside a nice building it is a medium sized pub with a small outside area on the side and out the front. The food was of a good standard for the prices charged and the floor and bar staff were friendly. Toilets were clean and in a good condition, as was the bar furnishings. Some menus were sticky from a lack of wipe downs but that was the only "fault" that could be particularly picked out

There are 2 wetherspoons in Lichfield this is by far the better. Nicer inside, better seats and better atmosphere and handy for main bus stop and other bars/restaurants in city.

Went here today and like normal had a great pub lunch! Lovely staff, great meal and in a perfect location. They empty the tables quickly and pub is clean all the times so I love coming here

As a family of four we visited yesterday and were appalled. Dirty cutlery, cold chips x 3 , smelly menus and no apology from staff who seemed very uninterested. Still awaiting response from Wetherspoons so not impressed. Will NOT be visiting again - one to avoid.

I ate there in April and May 2015, and no doubt will eat there again in the future. The fair is better than average for a pub, and the prices are lower than average. Service is predictably speedy. Yes you can get better quality - at a price - but for a businessman travelling alone I don't think you can beat it!

Popped in for a pint one lunchtime with the wife. We sat outside on what seemed to be a busy day...our table was full of empty glasses. On ordering our drinks inside I asked the staff who turned out to be the Duty Manager if he could get it cleared..to which he did it personally immediately.. and also took a cigarette from someone smoking where they shouldn't have been....suggesting that he runs a tight ship. .good to know. The drinks we nice and very well priced...4.59 for a large pepsi and a pint of Amstel. Havent tried the food yet but im confident ill having no problems with that. Overall a nice experience.

JD Wetherspoons are a well known company and this pub based in Lichfield is brilliant for food and drinks. And very cheap! I have to say no matter which Wetherspoons I go in, the chips are to die for! Me and my friends meet up here regularly and have a few too many drinks. But it's a comfortable place to enjoy some social time. Can get a bit crowded though and I find it annoying that the toilets are upstairs but that's probably the only picky criticism I can give. Definitely recommend!

Never been to the Gatehouse before, but were staying in Lichfield and didn't want to pay the expensive prices for breakfast elsewhere. For £2.99 we had a lovely, freshly cooked breakfast. 99p gives you a cup of coffee with free refills. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food came out quickly. What's not to like!

we recently visited Lichfield and went in a couple of times just for drinks but on the last night we went for a meal . it was good honest food no frills . the staff always friendly nothing was too much trouble . I have been to wetherspoons in other areas and it is always good value for money . I would like to mention one of the staff David , he served us on 2 occasions and came over to us at the end of his chat for a quick chat . I would recommend it to anyone

Popped into here today for a quick lunch whilst out shopping with my family. As with all wetherspoons pubs food is reasonably well priced and decent to standard. Decor needs updating though as as it's very dark, no matter where you sit.

Return visit to this Wetherspoons , as before , an excellent experience . Friendly staff , happy to help. Everywhere was clean . Prompt service of delicious, piping hot meals .We'll definitely come back here again .

Stopped off at the Gatehouse for a meal and drinks, the staff are friendly and welcoming but the rest of the experience was average. The tables were in need of clearing when we arrived, this was done within 10 minutes of us arriving but it gave the place a shabby uncared for feel. The toilets cubicles were in need of minor repairs and cleaning.The food was served promptly but the medium rare steak was more rare/blue and consequently was chewy. We weren't disappointed by our visit but neither were we totally impressed, but if you are looking for a cheap meal served promptly by friendly staff then this is a good option with a varied food menu and a large range of drinks.

Went for a few drinks here on the Saturday evening was busy but staff friendly and happy and the pub is lovely, great atmosphere will call again

Visited yesterday 1/3/2015 whilst the bar staff were friendly the food was a disaster my husband and I ordered the fish not a good choice it arrived curled up on the plate and where the fish was I don't know. The waitresses were not very friendly either and did not even bother to ask if our meal was OK or not as I was going to mention that it wasn't. Whilst I have visited in the week and enjoyed a decent meal for the price I do not think I will be visiting again for quite a while.

Popped in for a pint today as my son's football match was cancelled and he had gone to see his nan.I was welcomed warmly buy an extremely attractive bar associate, lorna, with a lovely smile and I was served straight away. After a friendly chat with lorna and her colleague Dave, I decided to order some food, the BBQ hotdog, and was served by the manager on duty this afternoon, paul. I sat on table 23 (where I am now, typing this review, using the free wifi ) and although the weather outside was awful the atmosphere in the pub is very relaxed and warm. The food arrived quicker than expected but was fantastic for the money paid. Lorna popped back to see if everything was ok and if I wanted anything else, at which point I asked if I could get my drink which was included in the food price, this was not a problem and she bought it back straight away. All in all this was a fantastic visit and I will certainly be coming back again! Thanks to lorna, paul and Dave, and the kitchen staff, keep up the good work guys!!

I went in for a meal on valentines evening was quite busy but staff we're friendly and happy and my meal was lovely and the offer they had on was a good offer, pub was kept clean even tho they we're busy,Recommend.

Visited today with my fam. Service pretty slow, food wasn't bad. No condiments offered to us by the staff. We managed to find some from another table but these needed filling so not pleased.
