I visitted the wine vaults this bank holiday weekend and I had a great time talking to the locals, I decretly had a rempod which I set up on a table on the stage and had a k2 meter with me on the bench, there were lots of people about ... I got huge spikes on the K2 meter and the rempod went off on the stage! .. Maybe this place is haunted! Maybe there are more spirits thn whats behind the bar!! I intend to visit there again soon.

Had a great evening at the Wine Vaults sat outside at the back with some of the friendly local chaps. Me and my wife were laughing and joking with them for quite a while - great time. It was a pleasure to meet you chaps 👍👍

Visited here whilst staying in Kington, after walking around the Royal Welsh Show all day we were in need of some sustenance. Good beer friendly staff only. a small bar but well stocked with local ales etc also a nice courtyard to sit in at the rear of the pub.

Stop off while walking Offa's dyke. Friendly atmosphere, welcoming and decent beer. Not the worst pub in the world,

We visited in August and bought some award winning beer brewed on the premises. We were told the head brewer had "gone home drunk"-clearly he did not drink the Arrow bitter. It is certainly a beer"to die for".It was opaque and had the astringency of vinegar laced with lemon juice. The beer had to be poured away several times and clarity proved totally elusive. The owner was absent but I did phone up and she uttered "What do you expect me to do about it?"Clearly she ran out of free vouchers for the Hereford and Leominster Customer Service Awards.Thank heavens for Sheffield brewed beers!

There’s not slot to this place, one barrow room but it leads to a small but rather pleasant little garden area. The barmaid happily changed my pint because I didn’t like the taste, which was nice . If you want a place for a quiet pint and watch the football, this is a good choice

After having walked around Kington, we decided to call into this pub for a drink. The pub is how I would describe a typical pub from quite some time ago, none of your modernism here, the lady behind the bar was friendly and we were made to feel welcome, we sat in the lounge and enjoyed our drinks which were reasonably priced. The pub wasn't overly busy but I think it relies on locals rather than passing trade, but we could recommend you visit for a drink, no complaints.

Poppadoms - cold / stale Pickle tray - good Starters - all appeared reheated and the reheat really didn’t work for the chops Mains - bland but generous on the portion not seen a green chilli in this jalfry. Breads - Excellent! Best bit by far of the meal Over priced for what you get All the atmosphere of Toolstation :) with piped commercial station inside and outside. This was my second meal, I won’t be visiting again. Though my first experience was just chefs night off.

Our family always meet here for a catch up. Breakfasts are lovely but bring back grilled tomato and flat mushrooms. Value for money. Excellent service.

I went to order a coffee at 5:55pm this evening. The female barista greeted me by saying “for f*ck sake” because she clearly didn’t want to serve me so late in the day. I told her not to bother and stated I’d spend my money elsewhere. Shockingly appalling service.

Fish and chips was all from frozen produce. No fresh at all. It was OK but nothing special. A good range of ales.
