Best pub in Leominster. Reasonable ale selection, plenty of space. Well located near the town centre. Admirable staff.

Just lovely. Perfect little pub for a naughty drinkypoopoo. Dog friendly. Fantastic staff, couldn’t have asked for more. My uncle Billy used to adore this place and I can totally see why.

Served with a glass of wine in a filthy glass. Took it back, they just poured it across into another filthy glass without any apology or comment. Obviously filthy people who expect this themselves. Won't be going back.

This is the very best wye valley beers, really sticks to thhe glass! Two fires in winter. Excellent bar service. Very welcoming atmosphere. Missed by tourists in summer as it backs on to Etnam Street car park. The best Butty Back ever.

Called in for a pint of Butty Bach Reserve. Very special and tasty. All the other beers well kept. Could have stayed all night in front of the fire 🔥

Popped in for a drink at this lovely pub, atmosphere was great, friendly locals and hard working very polite and friendly barmaid. The real cider and draught beer were such a bonus . All in all just how a good pub should be. Shame they no longer serve food, even filled rolls would be nice to go with your drink. Would recommend and certainly will be back.

Spent 2 nights in Leominster this is by far best pub. Staff polite and attentive locals the same. Not one bad word from anyone. Sunday afternoon was an absolute pleasure.

Lovely pub, but doesn't do food

Visited this pub whilst in the town, such friendly staff and the gentleman on duty was knowledgable about his beers he had on. The pub looks old from the outside, with a beamed ceiling in the bar area, quite spacious, good seating/dining area outside. The range of beers on (at time of visit) were all local. Overall, worth a visit.

Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food but if it's anything like the beer/stout that they serve, the barmaid who served us and the general feel of the place you should get an excellent meal.

We did not have a good experience here. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Local drinkers very rude and drunk. Constant use of homophobic and transphobic language. We left without finishing our drinks. Reported to police.

New in town this looked like the place to be, nice fire, good booze, well behaved dogs welcome. Well what a shock I got. It’s not the first pub I’ve been to where some ignorant drunk was rude abusive and confrontational, but it is the first pub I’ve been to where that rude, abusive confrontational drunk turned out to be the landlady! I’ve found most Scots to be awesome people, this woman was the exception that proves the rule! I’ll drink somewhere else thank you very much!

Had the unfortunate pleasure of a run in with the extremely drunk landlady when popping in for a drink with a friend while walking the dog. We were greeted by the extremely aggressive Scottish lady, we were under the impression that dogs were welcome on the premises as per the signage outside the pub. The dog was on a lead and calm after a long walk, however the landlady seemed to take offence to my friends dog and insisted that we leave. She was unbelievably rude and confrontational, it was completely inappropriate. Manners of an entitled, spoiled, overtired toddler - no in fact even the brattiest toddler could teach her some manners. Disgraceful behaviour for anyone in hospitality, let alone the owner of the establishment

Horrendous, drunk landlady. Backed me into a corner then flew off the handle as I was explaining my perfectly well behaved young dog is in the training process. AVOID!

Fair priced pint although not the best head on your beer. Perfect for a swift one whilst waiting to pick up a takeaway from Jalalabad

Went for early evening visit. Sadly they weren't doing food. No Guinness but had a very lovely alternative. Sat in the lovely beer garden and soaked up the sunshine. Nice location short walk from Train Station and the town centre

Only happen to find this pub and been honest Only used it from 12pm to about 2.30. But walked in to a roasting fire old fashioned way. Ahh to see that it's gorgeous Only us mature people know that. Right staff are so friendly and warm (just like the fire) .very cosy. Good selection of drinks and snacks from the bar. Very clean. Toilets spic and span. Great outdoor space and it will look fantastic in the spring onwards. Give it a try also dog's welcome on the lead. Enjoy

Nipped in for a snack. Local Scorch eggs, pork pies and other food wrapped for Covid reasons available - all reasonable, but a tad small on the pork pies. Good choice of local ales and ciders. Friendly staff.

Excellent ale in great condition, but they no longer welcome children (even in the outside beer garden!). Never known any pub be that restrictive. Weird! The landlord must really hate kids!

Wye valley brewery pub. Old building with exposed beams and outdoor seating

We stopped by for a pint and the bar staff were quite rude and unwelcoming; my friend was treated disrespectfully and accused of being unclean when he only had carpenters glue on his hands. They then kept claiming we were being disrespectful and asking if we were local (which we are but I'm not sure how this is relevant). All in all not a particularly positive experience which is a shame because I was expecting a nice local pub. Beer was fine.

The Green Dragon Hotel in Hereford is an absolute delight to visit. Totally refurbished to the highest standard this Hotel could compete with all the top London Hotels , and in Europe. Very smart cocktail bar serving excellent cocktails open on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. It is popular in here and gets busy. Look up at the intricate sky light which is very attractive. There is a bar , large lounge area and restaurant. It was all booked up so we could not eat but the menu was varied and interesting and I could not believe the prices.There is also the large ballroom which would be superb for a wedding or other functions.Lots of nice lighting and always ever changing wonderful flower displays. Friendly attentive staff who are very polite.Large sumptuous sofas and chairs in lounge and foyer area. The prices for the rooms very fair I noted. There is car parking. This is an old building and not sure if it is listed or not. Cant recommend this place enough and now go at least once a week and it is getting busier each time.

Lovely pub with real fires and nice barmaid. Great cup of hot chocolate with the provided newspaper 😊 lovely low beams and quiet music. Toilets clean and large seated beer garden. Carpark at back. Only issue is food not served till 5pm.

A very friendly place with excellent beer, the overall feeling was friendly interest in visitors without being intrusive. Well worth visiting.

Wonderful old real ale pub. Monday night £5 special menu, great value. Owners and staff very pleasant and helpful. Locals are lucky to have a such a place.

If you fancy going to an old country pub with lots of old world charm then this is the place for you. The staff there are very friendly & they can provide you with a good pint of beer or cider & all for a very reasonable price.

The licensee told us they had resumed offering Sunday roasts. went last Sunday and had very nice meals. Reasonably priced. Wye Valley excellent as normal.

Fabulous evening....great jazz quartet wth 2 saxophonists coming in later in eve. Great atmosphere....lively mixed crowd....friendly staff....highly recommend 1st Friday of each month.

A great pub, historic oak beams, quaintness, excellent food and drink, helpful staff. We did have a food mix up whereby 2 pies were mixed up and a change offered. Highly recommended!

Nice traditional pub with a good atmosphere about it. Not much in the way of veggie options but it suited okay. At least it was open for food at 6pm, which is more than can be said for the three country pubs we visited minutes before at Weobley, Dilwyn and Kingsland! To think, hundreds of country pubs are closing every week across the country, I now know why!

Good local spot and saw dust pub with a bit of a wine bar twist out back. It took me by surprise, but it was nice to see the two come together.

cosy pub hidden away from the main shopping area very friendly service from the young lady behind the bar the wye valley hand pulled stout was good we had the pie and mash for lunch which was fine.

We stayed overnight in Leominster a few years ago. Fortunately we found this pub. Being from the States the chef/cook wanted to make us feel at home, so he prepared his version of a hamburger with all the trimmings. The result was a fantastic burger, one of the best I’ve ever enjoyed, with a Leominster twist. Fantastic food and people!!

Just a village shop. They are doing only fish Fridays. If you want to have a meal look for an other place!

Brilliant food, really good prices even if there isn't any offers on. Selection of loads of different beers and ales. Staff were really lovely and nice to us holiday makers. Couldn't recommend more.
