Young staff. Lack of experience. Tried to be helpful.

Me and 3 friends stayed here for 3 nights food was good rooms were good but the staff were brilliant can't thank them enough thank you all so much we will be coming back soon .

Had carvery at around 6pm. The sprouts were very chewy, tasted like frozen ones. The Yorkshire puddings were hard. The gammon was tough. Not a good experience Won't be visiting again

A long time since I visited the Swan in Coleshill. Four of us ate on Sunday. We got there for 12,30. Got to say the carvery was very nice. The plates were hot and that is always a bonus. A self-serve for vegetables and condiments allows you as much or little as you desire. A nice touch was a bowl of pork crackling.. The swan has a nice ambience and feels spacious. I'd go again.

Stayed overnight and had food in the bar. Had the fish and chips and the portion size was generous very rare these days. The service was great and the young man that booked us in to the hotel was exemplary .

Paige was friendly, attentive and very efficient. She made our evening very enjoyable.

Heard lots about their all you can eat breakfast, so decide to go and sample, service very good, food very good cannot fault, well recommend.

Hmmm not impressed really. Booked 2 rooms months before visit, and were given rooms on different floors. Food was dire really, carvery had packed up. One small piece of southern fried chicken on bread cut in half. Not even any soup. Felt sorry for lovely young waitress, as nothing was on the menu. Outside of hotel is filthy, fag ends etc. Room itself was ok, clean, and shower was good.

Great pub, ace pint of Stella and the food is great, Monday 50% off burgers and Tuesday 50% off pizza, bargain

My family and I had a lovely meal on Sunday. Food was great, but most of all our waitress Taylor was exceptional. She really looked after us so well, a credit to the Swan. Thank you for our great hospitality Taylor. We shall definitely dine there again! xxx

The pub was clean. The service for food was one of the worst I have experienced in a very long time. Table of 5, four of us ordered a starter of chicken nibbles. Then four of us had the Gammon,egg and chips and 1 had fish and chips. It took over 40 minutes for the food to come out and they brought the main meals before the starters.Also all the salt pots were rammed to the top and damp, meaning you could not get any salt out. When mentioned to the waitress all she said was"people keep pinching the salt pots"

Friendly staff. Efficient. Helpful. Food was delicious. Clean restaurant. Would have liked proper home cooked Yorkshire puddings not frozen.

Probably the worst carvery I've ever been in. Paid for my food, the went to the counter. No one there. I waited 10 minutes, then had to go and find one of the staff. During my 10 minute wait I observed a large fly happily crawling over the turkey. The vegetables had been out so long they were rock hard. When I finally sat down to eat, I was confronted with screaming kids running around while their obese parents stuffed their faces. The staff are mainly teenagers who spread more time laughing and joking with each other than doing any work. Avoid this place.

Food was good. Place was dull . Seemed as though it needed a makeover.

Very very nice food. We had carvery. £8.99 for large or for smaller £6.99. I had smaller and felt it was just enough. Three choices of meat. Ham,turkey and beef. Lots of veg and potatoes to choose from. Veg gravy on show. Condiments too. Not have a dessert but would recommend trying. Parking but need to tell them your registration as you have to pay if not visit restaurant.

I use the Swan mainly for Monday Morning Buffet Breakfast. The Manager, Steve , all the staff in fact are friendly and welcoming. It's a good, Honest Breakfast . Good quality all round , unlimited if you want it and enough Filter coffee to sink a ship 🚢

Adam the chef on Thursday was amazing. Paige was on point with her service. Felt very comfortable and wanted for nothing. Really impressed. Will definitely come here in future. Hats off to ya. Great team.

We were a little late for breakfast but managed to get most items before they cleared away to get ready for the carvery lunches.

Visited here for the Sunday carvery. We were greeted straight away on entering. Carvery staff were both very pleasant and gave a good service. Food was hot, displayed neatly (no mess) and well stocked. My daughter had an ice cream sundae after which looked delicious. Great experience and will return.

Use The Swan regularly. The food and service is always good and good value. The staff are all friendly but must say special mention to Josh who makes best Pizza and Burgers. He always goes over and above to make sure food and service is excellent Great ambassador for The Swan

Max is a quality barman and deserves a raise. Did everything to help us and nothing was too much for him. Always a good pint and the pizzas are spot on.

Came for food again today ... Paige served us what a pleasant happy young lady . The chef named Josh made lovely hot food which when we had eaten was quickly cleaned away by a lovely lady called Dawn what amazing teamwork ...

Pizza base was quite burnt, as were the pin wheels. Ran out of ham and offered me bacon on a Haiwaiian pizza...

Took my Mom and family for her birthday meal today. She has Dementia and Alzheimers and gets anxious but our waitress Paige was superb. Andy the Chef really helpful too. Thank you both so much x

We watched the England game yesterday, was very busy as it would be with the match on, however the bar staff Went above and beyond serving people promptly special recommendation for Max, and Abby. We also had food which was delicious. Josh does great pizza , hot honey pizza is my favorite. Staff are always happy to assist. , they go out there way to assist customers. Highly recommend.

Passing though on the way the NEC. Lovely old town. Had lunch at the swan, wasn't expecting much. But thoughly enjoyed it. The bar staff were exceptional. Max Twist stood out, as he went out of there way to help. Highly recommend.

Ordered food here while working away. Ordered on the app and had to ask the waitress after 20mins if my drink was on its way. Order a calazone. Arrived on a side plate and was pretty much raw. If I was spending my own money and not working away I would have sent it back.

Food at the carvery was excellent, Standard carvery giving 4 meat choices , obligatory Yorkshire pudding ,(large carvery has added sausage as well as extra slices of the meat of your choice ), plenty of vegetables so if you are a non meat eater you will not go hungry. Staff are polite and friendly, our server was Paige a very pleasant young lady. The price of a standard carvery is £11.99.on a sunday but, cheaper during the week, there is also an extensive menu if a carvery is not for you, all are priced very competitively with other High St establishments. Would recommend.

Food was tasty, portion sizes decent and pretty good price. One small moan.. the pie had a mash toping, but the reality was it was a bit of gravy with loads of mash on top and not much meat..not my idea of a pie. The chap who served us in the evening was very friendly and helpful and interacted really well with my child. The lady in the breakfast was the opposite. Seemed almost annoyed that I couldn't find d a breakfast bowl (it was a soup bowl stacked on the back shelf..). Seemed like were were a nuisance getting in the way, rather than the actual purpose of her job. Would have been 5 stars for the evening service and 0 for the morning. Great setting, decent room that was well decorated.

Always a pleasure to eat here, especially the carvery. Excellent value for money, good variety of meats and vegetables, well cooked, helpful and pleasant staff (especially Laura)

I took my elderly mom here today (father's day) . It takes 10 minutes to get her from the car into her wheelchair and inside. To be told we aren't taking walk ins today just because it's father's day . I could understand if it was busy. But it was nearly empty. Not happy at all

I visit the swan at least 3 times a week, im very pleased with the customer service I receive the whole team are a credit, all polite and respectful and willing to help with a smile on their faces. Food and beer is really good I would definitely recommend to friends and family x.

attended the swan yesterday with my family for food and a birthday celebration, had various meals off the menu and found the food hi quality ( freshest pizza i've ever had delicious) and very reasonably priced, staff couldn't do enough for us and very friendly. stayed a little later than we anticipated due to disco great atmosphere will definitely be returning the Rogan family

Had many off great times here. Wether it be for lunch time food or evening entertainment. Staff can’t do enough for you. It just goes to show how much off a well run place it is.
