Really great pub food and good vibes. Reason I'm leaving a review though is the fantastic service. Paige served us and couldn't do enough for us, really friendly, very accommodating for all our needs. Credit to the team here for sure!

Delicioso filete de origen local y el mejor hombre que nos sirve (Ben) Estábamos alojados en el lugar y última hora reservado una mesa. Fuimos capaces de llevar a nuestro perro con nosotros, que era importante y a pesar de Ben estar por su cuenta y corriendo detrás de bastantes clientes, era amable, amable y atento.

Kitchen closes at 8pm according to the chef, didn’t have a problem at 9pm the week before, but maybe I got it wrong🤷‍♂️

Primera (pero definitivamente no la última) visita hoy a The Swan para el Sunday Carvery con 2 amigos y 4 perros. La camarera era muy acogedor y amable y nos estaba contando todo sobre sus perros, Nellie y Elvis. Otra cálida bienvenida de Peter 😊 Increíble relación calidad-precio para el delicioso Sunday Carvery a solo 12 libras. 95 ! Todo estaba absolutamente delicioso, especialmente la carne de res, pudines caseros de Yorkshire, salsa y los cerdos en mantas. Un gran bien hecho y gracias a Sandra en la cocina! También encantado de conocer a los propietarios Casey y Luke. Tuvimos una charla muy agradable con ellos y, como nuevo residente en Church Street, espero ver más de ellos. Este es un hermoso restaurante / hotel con una hermosa decoración, un quemador de leña rugiente, deliciosa comida y una bienvenida genuina y cálida.

Absoloutley disgusting would never come here again how are use sending out uncooked food to children and when you tell someone they say “oh are they” to being undercooked not an apology nothing even when brought back over no apology disgusting service !! How can a “freshly cooked pizza” come out cold ? Would not recommened to anyone

We come here on a Sunday without booking and always get a table they can always for you in our favourite waitress is Paige nothing is to much trouble and she goes above and beyond her job role. Always a smile on Paige’s face she is a credit to Stonehouse

Just left Stonehouse, Coleshill and thought I would review purely because the level of service we received today. I always enjoy my meal anyway and it’s our favourite local Stonehouse but tonight we met a young server called Andy J. She was very attentive and ensured we had everything, tbh she went above and beyond. She knew the menu and was able to easily suggest a pudding. Nice girl 😊

Lovely day to have a lovely meal, especially the 50% off pizza on Tuesday is just amazing! Even the staff are nice as they were enjoying a meal and they heard me say what is a Cheese burger pizza and they told me it tasted like a big mac! 5-Star every time I've came here!

Our recent stay at The Swan was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that customer service and basic hospitality were not a priority. Several rooms were in unacceptable condition, with missing shower doors, resulting in dangerously wet floors. When we raised our concerns, management showed no interest in addressing the issues, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Service throughout our stay was poor, with rude and dismissive staff. The dining experience was equally disappointing—tables were dirty, food quality was subpar, and some meals were substituted without even informing us. One of our team members received a completely different dish from what they ordered with no explanation. Despite raising these concerns during our stay and following up with a formal complaint, the hotel's response has been wholly inadequate. While customer service eventually got in touch, no meaningful resolution or action has been offered. Unfortunately, our experience at The Swan was far below expectations, and we cannot recommend this hotel to others. If management had shown any genuine interest in addressing these issues, our impression might have been different—but the lack of care and accountability speaks volumes.

El personal siempre tan amable no podría hacerme más bienvenido si intentaran que fuera como en casa, Habitaciones era impecable, cómodo y cálido, El desayuno era increíble! Comida de noche ¡guau qué puedo decir! ¡Qué increíble chef tiene este lugar! Todo era simplemente perfecto! Ya reservado para volver!

Not a great place if food is terrible and if you want to make a complaint you get nobody was interested and basically got attitude back rather than any help whatsoever. Poor

I have been going to the swan now for three years , the service and food ( carvery and breakfast ) is consistently good. The chefs and staff are always welcoming. My wife was Poorly for a number of years and they always went above and beyond to cater for her needs. It’s my first choice for carvery every time. Thanks for the great service.

One photo it's more then enough, but guys comon, if costumer ask for Wiskey or Brandy , you can't serve them kinda a drink in orange juice or milk glasses for breakfast, in hotel , keep the bar a bit more classy, Because the price its quite expensive for double whiskey for to serve it in this kind of Glass, my point, Bring in proper whiskey, Brandy glasses to serve it or take them alcohol of your bar menu, for me it's a big point ❗️ big deal We spend at least 400-500£ just on drinks a night go, I asked a barman to serve it in proper glass, sorry we don't have. BIG RED FLAG 🚩FOR ME. CHEERS TODAY BREAKFAST I HAD IN your place,I found hair on food,right next to the knife in plate ,but was right in the end food finished, when I already eaten,I complained but I already had eaten it,hopefully staff looks after your food hygiene otherwise you will lose your costumers !!

Booked a carvery, but when we got there the carvery had ran out. We were offered bar food that didn't seem appetising, so we left.

Absolutely disgusting , my wife made a booking for a party of 4 for 5 o'clock , when we got there a lady gave us a dirty look and gave us attitude asking us when we booked we said on the morning then she said we are closed at 5 but clearly states 9 oclock and refused us service also complaining she was tired and giving a very bad vibe , won't be going again we was regulars, but not no more

We stayed at the Swan for three nights starting the 7th November and paid £264 for the three nights per room. We've tried booking again for the same period next year and have been quoted £597 for the three nights per room. We require 3 rooms but the price Hike makes it unaffordable so as much as we enjoyed our stay this and the previous year have no option to look elsewhere.

Had carvery at around 6pm. The sprouts were very chewy, tasted like frozen ones. The Yorkshire puddings were hard. The gammon was tough. Not a good experience Won't be visiting again

A long time since I visited the Swan in Coleshill. Four of us ate on Sunday. We got there for 12,30. Got to say the carvery was very nice. The plates were hot and that is always a bonus. A self-serve for vegetables and condiments allows you as much or little as you desire. A nice touch was a bowl of pork crackling.. The swan has a nice ambience and feels spacious. I'd go again.

Stayed overnight and had food in the bar. Had the fish and chips and the portion size was generous very rare these days. The service was great and the young man that booked us in to the hotel was exemplary .

Paige was friendly, attentive and very efficient. She made our evening very enjoyable.

Heard lots about their all you can eat breakfast, so decide to go and sample, service very good, food very good cannot fault, well recommend.

Hmmm not impressed really. Booked 2 rooms months before visit, and were given rooms on different floors. Food was dire really, carvery had packed up. One small piece of southern fried chicken on bread cut in half. Not even any soup. Felt sorry for lovely young waitress, as nothing was on the menu. Outside of hotel is filthy, fag ends etc. Room itself was ok, clean, and shower was good.

Decidimos venir a tomar una copa más temprano en el día y se sentó junto al fuego, el personal era muy amable, así que decidimos reservar una mesa para la noche después de haber mirado el menú. Llegamos más tarde para nuestra reserva y el pub en sí estaba ocupado con los lugareños, que tenía una sensación muy acogedora. Enseguida nos preguntaron qué nos gustaría beber y nos mostraron a nuestra mesa para la cena! Poco después de sentarse, un caballero muy amable (disculpa que no obtuvimos un nombre) vino y nos recomendó que tengamos algunos de los especiales que eran la hamburguesa, hamburguesa vegetal y la parrilla mixta! Esto me llevó a la decisión de conseguir la parrilla mixta, ya que se decía que era muy grande tamaño de porción! Mi compañero compró la hamburguesa vegetal. La comida salió caliente y fresca! No podía creer el tamaño de la parrilla mixta, toda la carne estaba claramente fresca de las carnicerías, todo cocinado a la perfección y solo me las arreglé para comer todo! Mi compañera dijo que su hamburguesa vegetal era increíble, los aros de cebolla se veían increíbles y las papas fritas eran muy sabrosas! ¡No podía faltar nada de la comida! Las bebidas eran geniales, el servicio increíble y el entorno en general era amable y acogedor! El precio también era muy bueno teniendo en cuenta la buena calidad de los ingredientes! Muy recomendable para las personas que visitan la zona!

The pub was clean. The service for food was one of the worst I have experienced in a very long time. Table of 5, four of us ordered a starter of chicken nibbles. Then four of us had the Gammon,egg and chips and 1 had fish and chips. It took over 40 minutes for the food to come out and they brought the main meals before the starters.Also all the salt pots were rammed to the top and damp, meaning you could not get any salt out. When mentioned to the waitress all she said was"people keep pinching the salt pots"

Probably the worst carvery I've ever been in. Paid for my food, the went to the counter. No one there. I waited 10 minutes, then had to go and find one of the staff. During my 10 minute wait I observed a large fly happily crawling over the turkey. The vegetables had been out so long they were rock hard. When I finally sat down to eat, I was confronted with screaming kids running around while their obese parents stuffed their faces. The staff are mainly teenagers who spread more time laughing and joking with each other than doing any work. Avoid this place.

Food was good. Place was dull . Seemed as though it needed a makeover.

Very very nice food. We had carvery. £8.99 for large or for smaller £6.99. I had smaller and felt it was just enough. Three choices of meat. Ham,turkey and beef. Lots of veg and potatoes to choose from. Veg gravy on show. Condiments too. Not have a dessert but would recommend trying. Parking but need to tell them your registration as you have to pay if not visit restaurant.

I use the Swan mainly for Monday Morning Buffet Breakfast. The Manager, Steve , all the staff in fact are friendly and welcoming. It's a good, Honest Breakfast . Good quality all round , unlimited if you want it and enough Filter coffee to sink a ship 🚢

Visited here for the Sunday carvery. We were greeted straight away on entering. Carvery staff were both very pleasant and gave a good service. Food was hot, displayed neatly (no mess) and well stocked. My daughter had an ice cream sundae after which looked delicious. Great experience and will return.

Max is a quality barman and deserves a raise. Did everything to help us and nothing was too much for him. Always a good pint and the pizzas are spot on.

Passing though on the way the NEC. Lovely old town. Had lunch at the swan, wasn't expecting much. But thoughly enjoyed it. The bar staff were exceptional. Max Twist stood out, as he went out of there way to help. Highly recommend.

We watched the England game yesterday, was very busy as it would be with the match on, however the bar staff Went above and beyond serving people promptly special recommendation for Max, and Abby.
