Fish and chips was all from frozen produce. No fresh at all. It was OK but nothing special. A good range of ales.

Always a pleasure to visit my favourite pub, quality of Guinness excellent, food very competitively priced, and very friendly staff.

No one could ever be disappointed with either the atmosphere or the food. Clean, tidy and extremely friendly.

Terrible service. Complained about gin and tonic tasting soapy, agreed by all 4 of us. Replaced drinks and were then told we had to pay for the ones we complained about. Rude bar staff. Always enjoyed going there when I go to Ross. Will never go again

Always a great time in the Kings Arms. Good pub, good choice of drinks , alright toilets. A decent pub.

A fine place to visit and spend an hour or two here. Staff are pleasant.

A great location, central to everything, limited but free parking a bonus, friendly staff, food brilliant, rooms great, clean and spacious, good toiletries, all in all a very pleasurable experience, I would recommend 100 %. Definitely be back in the summer.

Needs to differentiate between a toilet and a bar!! All I could smell was toilet 🚻 actually made me feel sick

Stopped for a bowl of soup on a chilly autumn day. The tomato soup was lovely but instead of the usual chunk of fresh bread we were given a slice of toast! The barman however was great, nothing too much trouble (didn’t take his name but he had a top knot if that helps?)

Proper local pub with pub games and great social atmosphere. Karaoke on a Thursday night. We'll priced. Played shutvthe box. Great fun

Fantastic place, popped in to watch the rugby and had a ball. 3 pints for a tenner and valet parking too. Thanks for making us welcome.

Very nice place to go for a drink not a very big pub but the beers and staff make up for that. Staff make you very welcome and the local people very friendly. Only problem no guests beers.

Weird - felt uncomfortable but I think that was just me. The bouncer has a lovely voice, the barmaid was very nice and had excellent ideas on which drinks were best to get (cement mixers).

Despite one of the most unpleasant shots I've ever had in my life (cement mixer), I had a night that I'll never forget in there. Lovely staff, lovely service, and the bouncer had a lovely voice.

Not bad, cozy but a little cramped. I generally recommend it

Had a great afternoon/evening. Made very welcome. Could do with a real ale or two.

Despite having a chap on the door monitoring clients entering, once inside there is no sign of Track and Trace and no social distancing. No real ale on draft, only Euro-fizz. Nice clean loo but no limit on how many can enter at one time.

Sticky floor, way too hot and the punters/staff put the jukebox on when the footballs on the telly.

Popped in for a cold beer. Disappointed with limited range of beers, no proper ale, all euro fizz. Nice crowd of people but when music started all conversation impossible.

Good service at the bar but toilets needed a clean

Called in here for lunch with our two dogs looking for a dog friendly place to dine and drink. Made to feel welcome back staff and enjoyed a selection of light lunches. The beef baguette especially good. Nice spicy carrot soup. A small beer garden at the rear.

Myself and three others visited here as part of our 'calender crawl' so we were checking out the bars of Ross on Wye hopeing for some really good beers.. Upon entry and surveying the bar we knew we were not going to find what we were looking for.. and had to resort to Guinness Draught. The bar was light and airey but pretty much empty and remained so more or less for the duration of our stay.. Barman was friendly but appeared bored and mainly just watched TV. Nothing more to say other than the reason there are no images on any of these reviews is that as stated it is totally unremarkable.. so much more could be made of this place.. in light of what is happening down the road in millpond street, other pubs in Ross are going to have to step up to the plate..

Friendly small pub, great for watching sports

It's always a great night at the King's Arms. Especially enjoy Karaoke on Thursdays and Sundays. 😀

Very nice hotel and restaurant but the food was not as special as the description on the menu implied...The service was good if a little slow...but everything is freshly cooked so that is expected..we were a little disapointed

Atmosphere was quite good and our expectations were quite high, but the pints (Stella + Carling) were horrid!

Great place to bein when in Ross .

Good pint, nobody really around although to be expected on a Tuesday night. Football on which was good .

Only there to have a drink, about 6 of us, Proper traditional pub but with a TV which was on mute. Beer was good, didn't have any food but we had a good time.

My boyfriend ordered a lasagne with roasted vegetables which when it arrived was vegetarian ..... the staff couldn't be more apologetic that we had misunderstood the menu. They offered to replace the meal ( which we declined), provided an extra large glass of wine on the house and couldn't stop apologising (and suggested they may change the title on the menu to avoid further confusion). I had the venison which was delicious

Dinner offers a wide selection of well cooked food with quaility ingredients in a lovely setting. The hotel restaurant feels homely ad they offer really good value.

A very good menu, we chose the Special pie, loaded with succulent meat a n d gravy it was unfortunately too much for me. The accompanying chips were homemade and delicious but again too much for me, I have to say though my husband finished off most of what I left. For Pub Grub highly recommended.Pop

Hemos estado viniendo a la Kings Arms durante años tener comida y charlas en la biblioteca del hotel. La comida pasada noche era realmente decepcionante; lo que está sucediendo. estamos mejor comida si entramos en el restaurante. El personal es siempre amable, pero parecía ser descuidado. Esperamos las edades para la orden de adoptarse y aún más tiempo para la comida. El pescado, patatas y guisantes blandos estaban por debajo de la media, especialmente con la etiqueta de precio de £12.95 . El no comer un montón de pasta que empecé a tomar para llegar a los peces, nos pareció que no había mucho pescado pero una barbaridad de pasta laotiano de degustación. El resto de la comida era la misma y más de lo que era la izquierda. Me siento muy triste que en un lugar que es cómodo y atractivo, con el personal atento y simpático, ha sido decepción por muy por debajo de la media. Lo que debe saber mejor

confortable ambiente encantador. Excelente servicio y personal servicial. Una buena selección de bebidas, pero esta vez nuestra comida era pobre en mejor :( Quizás el chef fue tener una mala noche, ya que anteriormente la comida había sido muy buena.

We dropped in here for a new years eve drink having only once or twice been in when it was Connolly's despite always living in the area.It was definitely a 'local drinkers' pub but was friendly enough. Toilets were of particular note as they had clearly been recently refurbished and felt almost as large as the bar area!!Worth a visit for a drink if you are passing.
