The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Taunton Deane South West

Today we had lunch for 19 people and I cannot fault our experience. Huge thank you to all involved; Ben, Barry (and your team) and of course owners Tim and Jane for such a warm welcome, absolutely amazing food and superb service. We all had such a brilliant day! We will 100% be back soon!

Nice little pub in a great location with a nice carport for hotel guests. Wifi is shockingly poor and the water pressure is just a trickle, this could have been as I was on the top of the building but really just need a hot water tank on top floor with a water pump. BreKfast was nice little disappointing it was continental only but there was a good selection.

Had a delicious Sunday carvery on Easter Sunday...best one we've had in a long while..lovely thick pieces of beef and turkey, excellent roast potatoes like home cooked..veg was all hot and cooked well...gravy delicious....will be going back again 100%..!😃

A mixed bag really - we stayed for 2 nights for a wedding nearby. The rooms are very small and dark, our bathroom light didn’t work so we showered by phone torch. Very dated but clean and functional. The staff are the best bit of the whole place, they’re polite, kind and as accommodating as they can be. The noise is quite considerable, but that’s what you get above a pub. There was a domestic going on a few doors down from our room in the early hours - rather spoiled the second nights sleep. The food at the pub is good, service is speedy and a choice of continental or cooked breakfast included.

Good restaurant in Taunton. Very pleasant setting inside. Very friendly waitresses. Delicious food. Affordable price.

I am a huge fan of the Mr Miles Spectacular hot chocolate. It comes with all the trimmings and more :) Cakes are yummy too. And whilst the hot chocolate is immense, it is really the team who work there that deserve special mention. Every employee is so friendly, and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Such a lovely bunch of people. There’s also a fantastic shop for teas, coffees, preserves, mugs, teapots etc. An absolute favourite of mine in Taunton.

Having visited Brazz for many years, we were looking forward to lunch after some time away. Of course the staff had changed over time, so none of the familar faces. Apart from that not much had changed. I was delighted to see The Chicken Liver Parfait was still on the menu. The best parfait I have ever tasted. However it had be spread on bread, making it awkward to eat. The small bowl and bread was far more preferable.My husband ordered an 'All day breakfast'. It arrived without the black pudding, which was rectified quickly. He then discovered a metal staple in the soda bread. The staff apologised profusely and removed the offending bread. The duty manger arrived. She helpfully said that she could not understand how it got there as staples are neither used in the restaurant or kitchen. We left, disappointed with our experience. Rather than insinuating that the problem lay at our door maybe the if packaging in the kitchen should be looked at more diligently. You shouldn't be expected to dissect your food before eating!

Good range of keg beers and fairly comfortable interior

A very down to earth cafe popular with locals. Food is affordable and good.staff are really great and a good alternative to a pub. If you need to fuel up this is agreat value place.

Didn’t revive some of my items

Wasted £10 sadly. DO NOT order the bacon roll. £4.15 for microwaved bacon rasher, and the bread roll.. not fresh. You know that weird density defrosted rolls take on, especially if you sit them in a heated counter? £4.15. Let that sink in Staff were lovely, the place beautiful to sit in, feels very cosmopolitan, which is great. I popped in on my way home because I was so hungry, I needed food now. I opened the bacon roll to let it cool, and the stench of microwaved bacon doesn't smell like bacon. I can't put my finger on the word to use, other than, unedible. I was just too hungry to sit drinking the coffee. It was nice coffee though.

This cafe is in a pretty setting and has a welcoming atmosphere. It is next to a plant nursery and there are a few other small businesses on the site. There are a range of very good cakes and pastries, bread, scones and a brunch menu. The cafe is very pricey but was also very busy so must be doing something right. It has a lovely garden area. Dogs welcome.

We were on the road and desperate for good coffee, and Immix came to our rescue! A little hard to find, on an industrial estate and not open every day, but friendly service and good coffee (beans also available to purchase).

Good food, plenty for your money , great value
