One of my Mum's favourites. I always come here when I'm vising from Bristol.

Great food at a great price. The breakfasts are really good!

Fried breakfast that tasted of nothing. I wasn't expecting alot as its a greasy spoon. But everything was tasteless. Sausages, beans, eggs and barely toasted bread. I could taste the bacon but i think the flavour was imparted by the planchet and the mushrooms were probably the highlight. Me and my colleague both agreed the quality of the Ingredients was poor. Battery farmed eggs, mushy sausages etc. My advice make some scrambled eggs on toast at home!

Classic cafe with a good selection to eat, good portion sizes, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff.

Popped in for breakfast with my wife and ordered one bacon and sausage bap for myself and a plain sausage bap for her as she doesn't like Bacon. When the food arrived, we were presented with two sausage and bacon baps. I told the waitress our order was wrong and she took my wife's roll back to the kitchen. About five minutes later, we were brought yet another bacon and sausage bap. Twice now, our order was wrong. I told another waitress that we'd just ordered a sausage bap for my wife. She took this one back to the kitchen as well. Another five minutes and when they brought the sausage bap back, there were bits of bacon left in the bread. Very obvious that they'd just bluffed the waiting time and taken the bacon off the bread. Ultimately, my wife didn't eat her roll as it tasted of bacon. As for my roll, it wasn't good at all. A single sausage cut in half and two rashers of bacon, the flavours of both were overpowered by the taste of dirty frying oil. Should have asked for a refund and gone elsewhere. Won't be coming back.

This is a family and dig friendly cafe but you have to sit outside with the smokers if you have dogs - ordered breakfast - which came - and was very nice unfortunately this is where we were disappointed only one slice of toast was buttered when I asked for more was offered two small portions of butter for four pieces of toast if I wanted more I would be charged - I wouldn't mind but there was no butter on it in the first place I will definitely not be returning

I was in Taunton and saw Bos next to a bigger branded coffee shop. I was so glad I chose Bos! Really excellent flat white (I used to manage a coffee shop), a good Atmos friendly staff and quick service. Definitely put this one on your map

Breakfast was very good but please loose the tinned tomatoe for fresh. Jacket tatty was excellent and loads of chips. Good value for money would highly recommend.

my family and myself went here for breakfast, all ordered a full english which was average at best. sausages were anaemic, bacon was very salty and hash browns were very greasy. i ordered an orange juice and lemonade which was actually orange squash, the lemonade was soda water. all in all, would not recommend this establishment save your money.

Visited Bos Cafe whilst waiting for my van to be serviced and MOT`d. Had checked out cafes in Taunton the evening before and Bos looked pretty good. Entered, found a table, looked at a menu and ordered the MEGA breakfast. The biggest breakfast on the menu. Waited no more than 10 minutes before the food landed on my table. Looked good but something was missing. No black pudding ! Checked out the menu and sure enough the biggest breakfast on offer comes without the key addition of black pudding. Strangely, the smaller breakfast DID contain black pudding ! Usually the largest offering contains ALL the components on offer. Never mind, I got stuck in and have to say the hash browns were lovely as were the eggs and bacon. Then I tried a bit of sausage. Why do so many breakfast establishments put together a perfectly good fry-up only to spoil the entire experience with cheap imitation sausages that appear to owe more to the baker than the butcher. Shame. Mushrooms were ok, always seem to be cut too small ! Beans and tomato were satisfactory. Toast and tea were good. All in all not too bad but with the addition of black pudding and some decent sausages it could have been very good.

It was breakfast time but we only wanted drinks. This was not frowned on and ours were served without delay by the the friendly staff. They were freshly made and tasted good. We were nearly tempted to order food because the breakfasts that were also being served looked, and smelt, delicious but we had already eaten. Will bear this cafe in mind for meals on future visits to Taunton.

Nice looking place with good decor and busy . Reasonable prices and good selection of products on offer and consequently busy because of this however it's the classic high street cafe coffee house owned by an immigrant using cheap immigrant labour using the cheapest ingredients available to make the highest profit possible . An unfortunate somewhat familiar sight for most town centres

Great place for breakfast to start your day off. Staff really friendly, service very quick, getting food out quick.

Very, very clean cutlery, tableware, table, floor, everything. Service with a smile. For cafe food, excellent quality, large portions, great taste and prices. Give it a try, it won't disappoint. Did I mention, its immaculate?

Ordered OJ, black coffee, latte, bos special breakfast and the early starter. OJ was not fresh, overly sweet and for 3.10 was expecting at least a fresh squeeze! Coffee was bitter/burnt. Latte was nice. Food was great, except the mushrooms, which tasted of . . something other than mushroom - suspect they were canned as super watery. For nearly £30, this was overpriced af.

Great spot, popped in for a quick breakfast and they happily took my off the menu request and did it well. Will definitely be back when I'm next in Taunton.

Had our quick breakfast here when we were visiting Taunton. Good value for money as their portions are really big. Service was fast. Friendly staffs. Easy to locate in town centre.

Well placed in the town centre, busy at lunch but well worth going to. Egg salad and a chilli jacket was plentiful with nice, hot latte. The only downside is the number of seats in the central aisle, making access to the loo a bit tight and frustrating to those sitting there. A minor detail in an otherwise great place

100% agreed to the Jo hunter review manager is a stupid and idiot guy. He does not have the sense to talk to the people. Foolish and non sense non sense manager even the staff here is very untrained and seems they are forced to do the work like donkeys. 🐴 They don't have any vegan or vegeterian stuff. Ridiculously they are treating eggs as vegan stuff.

Stopped here for lunch during our shopping trip. The food came out hot and plentiful and was delicious. Will deffinatley keep this cafe in mind for future visits.

Asked for a bacon and egg baguette and got a panini which the bread on one side was ripped and didn't hold the filling. Egg cooked to fudge and tasted like rubber!. Girl behind the counter was friendly and polite. Very busy and looked a bit unorganised. Not worth nearly 25 quid.

Had brunch here. Can’t complain about the quantity of food, or the value for money, but I thought the sausages were poor quality, and I prefer to butter my own toast. Other 5han that the service was quick and efficient.

We went into Taunton to try the BOS cafe. What a fabulous range of food on offer. As it was in the morning we had breakfast there. Great food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We will definitely go here again

Nice little cafe. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Simple but nice. Was a quiet Sunday so nice fast and friendly service. Had the burger and coffee. Service with a smile gained them the 5th star.

the staff were really kind and so helpful looking at the vast menu, very impressed with the manners and all very beautiful. the food was great, so delicious and very big portions for the price. the drinks especially were phenomenal!

Cosy but roomy with two floors central cafe/restaurant that is good for breakfast and lunch. No thrills food at reasonable prices in welcoming atmosphere. They do a really nice and generous side salad with some dishes. Don’t think it’s licensed. Only downside is there are four or so similar establishments within 100 yards that are all dog friendly but this place isn’t.

Came here with the lads from Rolex (6 of us) and we all agree the food here is amazing and the service is great! Will definitely keep coming back “daily”!!!

Terrible, overpriced food with horrendous service from the obnoxious owner. Went for breakfast with a friend. They got my order wrong, when I questioned it the owner came over and was very rude. I paid £13.50 for a black coffee, some beans, mushrooms, 3 hash browns and 2 veggie sausages (the cheap and nasty ones made of mashed veg). My friend had a full English and said the eggs were the worst he’s ever had. Would not ever return and would not recommend to a friend.

We've been in several times this week and every time the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The food is gorgeous and the place is so clean.

Great choices on menu something for everyone low prices good portions food is always hot and tasty! always busy because its so different from the overpriced faffy menus in places eg deckhouse cozy club etc .

If I had not already paid for my food I would have walked out. The way the guy in the kitchen treats his staff and customers is appalling. He shouts instructions to staff from the kitchen into the dinning area. I also saw him confront a customer for some infringement. What that was I could not tell. Seeing this made for a very uncomfortable atmosphere. I would not return and I wonder why the staff stay - this behaviour is not okay.

I had a terrible experience at this establishment. Came here for lunch with a friend. I was shouted at by the manager for simply moving one dirty plate from my table to an empty table. He seems to treat his staff the same way too. This is absolutely appalling behaviour. Will never go there again ever!

Food was disgusting, cheap fatty bacon used cheap sausages, left 90 % of food awful, the beans were cold and the fried egg was solid.

Great Breakfast / Brunch spot. Food is fuss free clean and tasty portions are generous and service is great.

Stopped by as I wanted a quick snack. Ordered double egg, double sausage and beans. The service was quick especially as it was around lunchtime. Prices were reasonable too.

This has to be the most people friendly and welcoming cafe in Taunton, staff constantly cleaning tables counter tops and even regularly disinfectant spray the wiping clothes, we’ll done guys will defo come back

An easy pop in on the high street and no queues. BOS cafe offers a wide range of breakfast, grills, dinners, sandwiches etc. We ordered BOS special breakfast for him, which he finished. I ordered the big breakfast and was not a fan of the sausages so they went home for the dog. Sadly, my tea was not very good even though I left it to brew it was still so weak! Portion size decent enough quick service.

Absolutely abysmal The lazy girl falling all over the counter when I talked to her could barely control her legs for some reason . I asked for two medium flat white coffees and they tried to sell me oat milk at an extra 60p a shot which is normaly free everywhere else . The drink turned up a large flat white £3.60 and only one of them . I would suggest hiring some people with some manners

Not the greatest tbh good price for tea for two but big teapot with two teabags in it cheap one weak as hell eggs on toast must be the smallest eggs ever and the bread I didn’t think you could get thinner slices no card payment today which isn’t a problem but take the sign down saying card payments which I told her to do as cash only anyone wants to pay with cash won’t come here again

Deciding on which café to have a spot of lunch in we came across Bos Café, right on the main drag next door to # Café 1. Pleased we did, good coffee and delicious mozzarella, tomato and pesto panini served with a lovely side salad, one of the nicest I've ever eaten!! Husband also really enjoyed his bacon & egg sandwich, also served with side salad. Good value, good service, lovely young staff running the place who were very attentive even though they were very busy we'll definitely visit there again next time we're in Taunton.

After finding nothing suitable in Taunton High Street stumbled across this place. Excellent prawn and tuna salads, quick service and good value. Will certainly use again.

It was a Sunday afternoon (14th May 2023) and after a long drive we wanted a tea and a cake or something like that. As we tramped the streets of Taunton, there were the usual suspects of the coffee trade, but where the cute little tea shop run by an apple-cheeked old granny? Then we lit on this place. In fact it is a well-presented, clean, slightly-upmarket 'greasy spoon', selling everything you would expect, like the All-Day Breakfast etc. It looks like an independently owned venture not a chain. We got two teas, two toasted teacakes, and they were just the ticket. The tea was hot, strong and fresh, the teacakes hot from the grill, and the little foil-wrapped butters were soft (hallelujah). Service was quick and cheerful by two young ladies. Not a cute little tea shoppe but a splendid place, Recommended.

A lovely coffee shop with really friendly staff and a great outlook.

A popular little cafe. It's in the centre of town, about 100 metres from the Orchard shopping centre and multi-storey carpark, or about 150 metres from the Crescent car park. It's a little bit cramped inside with not a lot of room to move about, but a good atmosphere that makes up for that. There are a few tables outside, but those were equally busy; they would be suitable those in wheelchairs. The food was served quickly, was still very hot and really tasty (a full English breakfast). I thought it was good value for money, with loads of toast on a separate plate. It's handy for somewhere to meet with friends, or to take a break when shopping.

I had a pannie and my friend had fish and chips. The fish wasn't cod and the chef/owner of shop. Came over to us ,was very rude to my friend and said it was cod . I felt very uncomfortable and won't be going back

Sadly today was the worse full English ordered, all Luke warm or cold. Child’s chicken nuggets and beans- cold and chips looked like they had been sat awhile as soggy/ limp. Absolutely disgusted today. I recall when they first opened…. What a sad vast difference....

I have been a regular customer for the last 2 years. Always good service and friendly people. Went in today refused service unless I had cash. I no longer carry cash so unfortunately will not be returning.
