Really good service! Very friendly. Burgers were pretty good. The serving of dirty fries was very poor, certainly considering the cost. Would avoid these next time but would return to try more burgers.

Food from my order was missing and when I asked the delivery driver at the door he was very rude.

I had vegan cheese burger and sweet potato fries take away. The burger is so moist and flavorful. I would definitely order again

A nice pub where you can drink Guinness in peace and enjoy good fish and chips in a cozy atmosphere. Not exactly cheap. But what is cheap these days?

Friendly staff. Made you feel welcome, with professionalism and kindness. Scrambled eggs were very tasty. Also felt nice and warm inside, on a cool, wet day. Thank you.

Normally the cheeseburger is great.. the ones delivered today were not good… normally 2 patty’s and pickles, sauce etc but these only had 1 patty, no pickle and pretty limp rolls

Excellent place to eat, we each had the lunch time special, burger, fried and a drink. So price was good. Service with a smile, our waitress was very polite. The food was fantastic. I had the chicken strips in a burger bun. Delicious. I am reliably informed the beef burger was good to. From my perspective it was the right amount of food. I would happily eat there again.

2nd time of going in there and they have run out of milk. Go get some you are right in the middle of town. Poor excuse and I heard other customers say not again what is happening. I didn’t bother ordering a drink

Food was absolutely awful. Pulled pork was burnt. Chips never came with my burger. £18 for a burger that looked like it was a double cheese burger from mc Donald’s.

The white hot chocolate is amazing and a great choice of coffee the extra 30p shot is very worth it the latte was great. The victoria sponge and slice of cheesecake made the lunch.

Excellent food and service nothing too much trouble

I wish this was closer as I would go back. The staff were trying to make the best of an imperfect evening and largely succeeded - the food was well-presented and tasty in a messy way (which I liked). Somehow this was greater than the sum of its parts!

We visited on father's day so was very busy we had booked and informed the wait for food was about 30 minutes, actual wait was well over an hour. That said the staff were friendly and busy there was a free beer for us fathers and the food was fine.

Loved this place. Really lovely surroundings inside & it is done up beautifully. Everything is spotlessly clean, tidy & lovely to look at, very pretty surroundings for a breakfast. I would have never have guessed though from outside to be honest how lovely it is inside, so definitely worth a walk inside. We stopped for breakfast on Sunday morning. The waitress was calm, friendly & took our order quickly. Breakfast arrived quickly & was hot & very tasty. Hubby had a full breakfast and I had a sausage & egg roll. Both were reasonably priced & we both enjoyed our breakfast. Would definitely come back again next time in Taunton, perhaps for dinner next time. 5⭐

My first time and last time in this place. It did not meet the praise received from others. My visting family wanted to eat proper burgers. The burgers were nice,nothing bad to say about it ; the chilly hot dog was very nice, I do recommend it and the girls there were lovely. The cons: the kids' milkshake bottle was more than half with foam, the cooler drink was more ice than actual juices advertised - which after a few sips became almost tasteless, very small portion of fries for the price -with very little toppings, mac and cheese was dry- no cheese sauce. All in all, we felt "robbed" of our food and drinks. The high bill did not reflect what was actually ordered...¿¿¿ And at last, it is not a kid friendly place, especially for kids with high energy levels, nothing is provided to keep them occupied. So, do not bring kids or bring your own entertainment. To answer to the owner's reply, we were dining up stairs, as it can be seen in the photo. We were NOT offered any games or alternatives.

Delivery service is awful, i never received my food and there is no way of contacting anyone for a refund, you wont answer the phones. Absolute joke

This was was a great place to go and get some food after having been in town, there was a good selection of food to choose from with vegan options. I would definitely recommend this venue if you are getting food and catching up with friends.

Nice setting for lunch. The food was good. A little greasy for my taste but if you are into the American style burgers you will enjoy it. It is not a cheap meal as you have to pay £12-15 for the burger then £4 for the chips. We had to ask the staff to come and take our order and to get us the bill. Not very attentive seeing as we were one of 5 groups eating.

The food was delicious. The chocolate milkshake didn't taste very chocolatey, more like a hint of it.

The staff here were all very friendly. Nice relaxing place for lunch. Menu was burgers, fries, hotdogs etc. The Verdant Brewing Company Lightbulb pale ale was very good - bitter and fruity taste. Perhaps a little expensive.

A wide section of burgers and sides all served by a relaxed and happy staff. The food we all had was very tasty but not inexpensive. All good apart from that.

Fantastic staff and really nice relaxed atmosphere. The food was really tasty but a little too pricey for us. Just under £15 for a burger on its own felt a little steep. But I can not fault the service, the staff were very polite and accommodating.

Great food and drink, were great at serving our large group. Love the bottomless brunch option where you can choose whatever food off the menu and pay for seperately the drinks option.

Bean burger - small and boring. 3 portions of garlic parmesan fries £19.50 (£21.45 including the 10% service charge) - two portions were served on plates along with burgers, one portion was served in an enamel dish - there were more in the dish than on the plates and the dish fries were far tastier. Staff were, on the whole, friendly, but so slow and it wasn't even busy when we were there.

I came around in December but I’m only reviewing it now. Had a wonderful time, the bartender with the chonky bum was so helpful and the food was lovely. Good coffee too. Harry was also brilliant 🤗can’t wait to bring the husband and the kids back!

The wait staff are friendly and engaging with you [as much as qaot staff can be] they took pictures for guests and gave on point drinks recommendations which elevanted my evening. The burger was simple but executed perfectly and can't beat a well cooked bacon double cheese!! Thank you, Hub Box, which I've nicknamed Hubbox.

I came in with my daughter around 3.30pm on mothers day, as I had to work at an event, we just wanted a drink and a piece of cake, having previously had covid, I cant now drink anything other than hot water, this store has always been more than accommodating and always give me a pot and mug. One of the girls working, put some hot water in a takeaway cup, even though we were sitting in. My daughter said, can I have a mug and pot please, the girl said we don't do that anymore and we don't have many pots, my daughter counted 5, she was really rude and emptied the paper cup into a mug, bearing in mind, this was late in the day, I don't see this as an issue. Fortunately for the girl, I had already sat down, otherwise I would have left there and then, but on leaving asked if there was any one, I could leave feedback with, the guy didn't know, so three of them chatted amongst themselves and then said who to contact, she then asked if there was a problem? I said its fine and left. I wasn't going to discuss it in the middle of the place, while customers were around. I meet friend in here every week and my daughter and partner visit weekly and have takeaway, but not anymore, the customer service was just plain rude, I never have issues anywhere else, big let down Coffee#1

The manager Hannah was so lovely when chatting to her, really welcoming & good energy. All staff were lovely & even staff not serving our table made us feel welcomed & happy

Eaten here a few times now and the Food is super tasty, coffee good, shakes are good and Service is great. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable.

Hub box was lovely as was the service of the two staff present who - after serving us a lovely meal with milkshake - had the grace to answer our request for a nearby pub by recommending somewhere nice nearby.

The burgers and chicken was so dry. The fries had so much salt they were inedible. We ordered sauce which they forgot to put in the bag. Nothing tastes as good as it used to before the menu change

Staff very polite and friendly. Coffee ok. Just had full Cornish breakfast, not good, bacon was dry broke when I put my fork in it, black pudding over cooked, beans the sauce had dried out, mushroom had burn oil taste from grill, but sausage and egg ok. Wouldn't recommend.

This was my first visit to Hubbox, and I'll certainly be back. Firstly, the staff are amazing. Friendly, welcoming and professional and really helpful. I went with three friends and has the lunchtime deal which is incredibly good value. The food came quickly and very tasty- good range of options on the menu. The interior is warm and cosy and brilliant music playing while we were there which all added to the experience. Thank you.

We waited 45 minutes for food and the manager offered us an apology drink however we weren’t drinking - they didn’t provide an alternative. The food arrived and half of it was cold. The Nachos were terrible and they forgot to put the cheese on. We ordered 5 dishes and the only one that was okay was the mac and cheese. Our burgers were disappointing and other foods were really disappointing and the service wasn’t great. The actual interior of the restaurant was very nice though. It’s a real shame

Wasn’t a smash burger, would have been so much nicer if it was. It’s an alright burger, the packaging is recyclable but the down side to that is it doesn’t hold the heat very well….nothing whacking it in the air fryer can’t sort out. I would order again 🤷🏽‍♀️

I had the Big Kahuna burger and fries with a strawberry milkshake. OMG it was tasty and filling! Staff are very welcoming and there's plenty of seating. Deffo worth a revisit.

We were able to walk in and be seated straight away. The lunchtime specials were of good value, the staff were friendly, the food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere really welcoming.

It's a brilliant restaurant, especially if you have allergies as they will alter recipes or change ingredients to suit your diet. The food is excellent and extremely tasty while reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly, efficient, and attentive. Well worth a visit when in Taunton.

Absolutely brilliant burgers, would eat here again. They accept large groups which is also handy, and the prices are fairly reasonable. The service was somewhat chaotic, but everyone was friendly. My only issue was the lack of clean tables.

Food was incredible, ordered for collection online. Only thing was a couldn’t make any notes to remove something but I rang up and they did it no problem !

Drink here often. Finally downloaded their app but struggled to use it. Guy tried to help but was told to serve another, rude young girl then just said I don't know, ring customer service. How poor! Cappucino had little froth and just warm. Had to ask for a spoon. Tables also needed cleaning. Very poor.

Very disappointing indeed. When previously visited hubbox in Taunton I was so impressed I felt it was the best burger I'd ever tasted. But today was so salty we couldn't even taste the burger itself! It was almost inedible. It was af if a pot of salt was tipped into the beef mixture! It's put us off going to what we once thought was our favourite place for a decent burger. Such ashame

Wow!! Ignore all negative reviews this restaurant truly is outstanding Big mentioned to our waitress Hannah made us feel very welcome and very polite Food was amazing, I could not get it down me quick enough. We was going to order seconds. Highly recommend 100% Keep up the good work!
