Seems to have taken a nosedive in terms of service and quality. This used to be a great place to come and relax but not anymore.I understand it's been bought out ( franchise). My latest and last experience...The coffee was awful. Lots of young male staff just hanging around behind the service area, stale cakes. Won't be going back again.

Good fun pub, massively popular with musicians from miles around. There is a room at the back that the play in, at the end of a corridor, that projects the music through the corridor to the rest of the pub. I understand the bands are usually booked in about 4 months in advance. There is also an open mic night once a week where local musicians can watch each other play and get feedback on their music and how to improve and make better songs and performances.

Another enjoyable experience at The Hewletts. Mixed up my booking times due to clocks going back but helpful staff soon sorted a nice table for us. Had a delicious Sunday lunch with all the trimmings. Nice variety of vegetables with the tender beef. Good as it gets. Well done. Will definitely be back.

We stopped by The Provenist on our last trip to Bath. The staff were extremely welcoming and the food, incredible. We decided to share a few of the salad options and the quality of everything we ate, was top-tier. I think it says a lot about a place when theor standard salad options are so flavourful, that we were fighting over the last forkful. The very friendly staff also brought over a glass of prosecco each and some smaller side dishes as an additional treat - very kind! I see other reviews suggesting the food is overpriced but if you want quality food and good service you have to pay a bit of a premium... Well worth it in our eyes.

Absolutely fantastic, just had a full English, I'm at the xmas fayre and they did us a take out box, ingrediants were top quality and tasted local such as bread, nacon and sausages. Don't find many cafes these days with nice food, most of it is generic bookers rubbish. This was awesome, we both really enjoyed it, thank you xox

The landlady of this pub is extremely rude and a really nasty person! I parked in this pubs car park as I was attending an event close by and couldn’t find any parking anywhere. I unfortunately missed a sign reading patrons only to park here as it was dark and there was no light above it. I wasn’t expecting to be parked there long and was planning on popping in there for a drink afterwards. Unfortunately the event ran on for longer than I had thought it would and as I have my young daughter with me, I didn’t have time to pop in there as I had to get her home. The landlady blocked the car park exit and started shouting abuse at me through my window. When I opened the window and thanked her for allowing me to park there and apologise for not seeing the sign she called me a s**g and a b***h. My daughter was upset about this and was scared of the woman shouting abuse! I am absolutely appalled by the behaviour this woman displayed. I will now never visit this establishment and will be taking it further. There was absolutely no reason for this disgusting and intimidating behaviour and I’m surprised ratings aren’t lower for this pub.

Got a jammy dodger and bubblegum ice-cream which was very nice. They had a fair few interesting and unique flavours, I wish I got to try more. Service was great and staff were very friendly.

We go to The Seavingtons regularly for lunch. If you don’t know what you fancy there is always a good selection on the specials board as well as an extensive menu. Prices are very reasonable and the food and service is excellent. Considering most of the staff are volunteers in both the shop and cafe I think it’s a lovely place to both eat and do a bit of shopping 👍
