Absolutely amazing service today, incredible bar staff. couldn't get better. Did an incredible service, even with the till down. They dealt very diligently and professionally with an issue surrounding a customer in the garden with her bare foot displayed, like a hobo. they also handled it professionally when the man kicked off and started being rude and aggressive to the bar staff. One of the best pubs in bath and the West Country. All due to amazing staff and great service

We we're shocked to be told at 17.57 on a Saturday afternoon, that dogs had to be out by 18.00. 3 minutes! But drunken imbeciles are allowed. What a ridiculous rule. Unbelievably rude. Won't be back.

Lovely Irish pub that I've been going into on occasion for near a decade now. I used to be able to control the tv with my phone, which was delightfully cheeky at the best of times, but it was more than just a mistake to attempt it during sports. If you were there during the incident all those years ago...it was me. I did it. I'm sorry. Nice bar staff too.

Owner was extremely rude and swore at customers. Bar staff and security friendly enough, but still having to do what owner says.

This place was an absolute disgrace. We visited on New Year’s Day, and the staff seemed indifferent, standing around talking and on their phones while the venue was in a mess. The floors were littered with rubbish, cigarette butts, champagne corks etc., creating an unwelcoming and unhygienic atmosphere. Upon entering, we were hit by an overpowering smell of bleach. Strangely, despite this, the ground was sticky enough to make you worry about getting stuck if you stood still for too long. The toilets were equally appalling, bordering on third-world standards in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. There’s truly no redeeming quality about this place. I can’t imagine any reason anyone would willingly visit this dump.

Firstly, the 5 star atmosphere was carried by us! Whole place smelled of fart due to unattended bogs. Some staff were childish (including mates who didn’t work there). Can’t believe it’s the only place open past midnight in bath. Americans please don’t come

Run by thugs, happy to charge you £7 a pint then force you out the pub 8 minutes later by shouting and getting their mates (who don’t work there) to join in. Really embarrassing showing from all involved

Bar staff and his mate (who didn’t work there) shouted at us because we hadn’t finished our pints within 8 minutes of ordering our pints at last orders. Forced us out before we could finish our £7 pints. Mad stuff. Strange people. Don’t go.

Toilets were something from the dark age! Hideously unclean, mouldy and stinking. Guy collecting the chairs at the end thought it ok to insist we left, immediately after ordering last orders. A very strange pub. Not going back.

Guinness as good as Devonshire Soho. Love it.

My friend and I sat at the top end of the club Near the staff only door. When I felt the door move I quickly moved out of the way. And let staff through A friend was SITTINg next to the door, NOT obstructing and the bar staff knocked her drink from her hands. The glass broke on the floor and we asked for a new glass. The staff member “felix” was extremely rude and refused a new drink with extreme attitude. We are not drunk, nor causing an issue. We simply feel it was a mutual accident therefore not a particular fault but feel we were treated extremely poorly. The staff member continued to give attitude and sarcastic personality toward us. Very unprofessional. This member of staff seemed as though they felt they did not want to be here. It was 11.15pm so very early in comparison. Other pub goers saw this happen and felt as mortified as us. As it was certainly not our fault. Absolute shambles of a member of staff. Should not work here if you cannot liaise with customers politely. Vile. Bye felix Sean the landlord and Taylor the bouncer were AMAzINg at sorting this problem. They offered my friend a new drink and took it seriously and listened to our grievances. Top resolution!!!! Thanks you

No hay mucho espacio dentro, pero mientras esté seco, es un buen lugar para sentarse fuera. Bastante gente afuera se sentó allí bebiendo y charlando, eso fue lo mejor para nosotros. ¡Guinness decente también!

Mientras seguimos viajando por el mundo no podemos evitar notar el omnipresente Irish Pub. ¡Prácticamente están en todas partes! Así que cuando vimos Flan O'Brien's al otro lado de la calle de donde nos alojábamos en Bath simplemente tuvimos que ir a tomar una pinta de Guinness!

No me molestaría, estaba parado en el bar esperando a ser atendido durante unos 10 minutos y el personal del bar me ignoraba continuamente mientras hacían todo lo posible por servir a otros clientes que llegaban después. Sentí que esto era tan grosero así que me fui.

Generally does good pints but got a few shockingly bad pints of Guinness on my latest visit. Might have been the time of day or the person behind the bar so doesn't affect the review.

Went in last night for a drink, group of 3 ladies. I was accused of being with someone who wasn’t in our party and the staff refused to serve us because they said we were with someone they didn’t like. We tried to explain we weren’t with the person in question, we were sat somewhere different but they simply wouldn’t have it and refused to serve us. So we took our custom elsewhere. Confusing and disappointing. Don’t bother with the place

Came to the bar for a pint of the black stuff, Guinness with my wife. It was a good pint which you come to expect from an Irish bar. The staff were friendly and polite. The bar decorated with Irish themed items photos, ornaments etc. It was quiet at the time we were there. But there was a good vibe to the place. Typical old style bar.

Good pub in the centre of Bath. Probably the nicest Guinness. Went Friday and sat evening, Friday was better with the rugby crowd.

I often pop in here for a quick pint when out and about in Bath mainly because of the super clean pipes which produce lovely cool crisp lager and heavenly Guinness. Whilst an Irish sports bar, there is never any trouble and always a good bit of banter.

The male toilets are disgusting filthy,what a shame ,good service and beer ,would not recommend eating here hate to think what the kitchen is like however I am not aware that they do food

Best pint of Guinness I've had in England

Come for a pint... staff very engagement very expected... no verbal commumication other than required. Pictures to support but all in all very nice bar, decent customer base, foot traffic may be detered by non welcoming staff.

We went there post dinner for some drinks and music and boy did we have fun. There was live music that was awesome. Folks there were all drinking and singing along. It was just a lot of fun. I got the bath best beer, which wasn't cold enough to be enjoyed. I'd stay away from it. Go there for some music, beer and good vibes.

Proper Irish bar with 2 different guiness' Murphy's and plenty of whiskeys . Decent singer on the Friday night which gave it that authentic live music feel with a few singing along . Decent prices too . In a main busy square with a large sitting down area .

We had a lovely time in here, staff were very friendly, good atmosphere with music in the background, plenty of drinks with of course the necessary Guinness! Seating areas both inside and out, can imagine it would get very busy in here at the weekend!

A great people-watching pitstop in central bath. Prices are reasonable, service is good. Plenty of seating indoors and several tables on the street with barriers to separate customers from passers-by. There are a few large umbrellas outside to shield you (and most importantly, your drinks) from rain and sun. The toilets are really the only downside to this place. Located up a fairly steep flight of stairs, they are reasonably inaccessible to those who experience mobility challenges. They are in need of a lot of TLC and although they're fairly clean, they're hardly pleasant. The Guinness was apparently good 👴🍺

Thought the bar and drinks were great, but sitting outside we were approached by a few homeless people asking for money. Things escalated when we watched a woman scream crying for 20 min before chucking a vodka bottle at the ground. Really took away from the vibe and decided to leave after 1 drink

Typical bar. I tried an IPA and a Guines...both very good.

Usually come to this pub and normally have a great time however went in last week, the atmosphere wasn’t great at all in fact it was quite toxic, there was a group of people with a vicious dog who attacked two people coming in, luckily it had a muzzle on. Was disappointed overall, won’t be rushing back!
