Friendly staff but less than ideal toilet conditions!

Lovely atmosphere and staff. We had a great time. Met some lovely people.

Great Venue in the centre of Bath always a great atmosphere and a good meeting place. Not the cheapest place but worth a visit.

Went in last night for a drink, group of 3 ladies. I was accused of being with someone who wasn’t in our party and the staff refused to serve us because they said we were with someone they didn’t like. We tried to explain we weren’t with the person in question, we were sat somewhere different but they simply wouldn’t have it and refused to serve us. So we took our custom elsewhere. Confusing and disappointing. Don’t bother with the place

Came to the bar for a pint of the black stuff, Guinness with my wife. It was a good pint which you come to expect from an Irish bar. The staff were friendly and polite. The bar decorated with Irish themed items photos, ornaments etc. It was quiet at the time we were there. But there was a good vibe to the place. Typical old style bar.

Nice pub, quality pints. On the pricier side but an indipendent pub so completely understandable.

Good pub in the centre of Bath. Probably the nicest Guinness. Went Friday and sat evening, Friday was better with the rugby crowd.

A craic-ing spot for a drop of the black stuff. Good atmosphere but city prices.

I often pop in here for a quick pint when out and about in Bath mainly because of the super clean pipes which produce lovely cool crisp lager and heavenly Guinness. Whilst an Irish sports bar, there is never any trouble and always a good bit of banter.

The male toilets are disgusting filthy,what a shame ,good service and beer ,would not recommend eating here hate to think what the kitchen is like however I am not aware that they do food

A very busy Saturday afternoon with the Christmas Market. The staff were magnificent even dealing with a medical emergency.

Popped in for a pint of The black Stuff! surperb, what you would expect from an Irish pub, always a decent pint, good ambience, friendly staff

Come for a pint... staff very engagement very expected... no verbal commumication other than required. Pictures to support but all in all very nice bar, decent customer base, foot traffic may be detered by non welcoming staff.

We went there post dinner for some drinks and music and boy did we have fun. There was live music that was awesome. Folks there were all drinking and singing along. It was just a lot of fun. I got the bath best beer, which wasn't cold enough to be enjoyed. I'd stay away from it. Go there for some music, beer and good vibes.

Proper Irish bar with 2 different guiness' Murphy's and plenty of whiskeys . Decent singer on the Friday night which gave it that authentic live music feel with a few singing along . Decent prices too . In a main busy square with a large sitting down area .

We had a lovely time in here, staff were very friendly, good atmosphere with music in the background, plenty of drinks with of course the necessary Guinness! Seating areas both inside and out, can imagine it would get very busy in here at the weekend!

A great people-watching pitstop in central bath. Prices are reasonable, service is good. Plenty of seating indoors and several tables on the street with barriers to separate customers from passers-by. There are a few large umbrellas outside to shield you (and most importantly, your drinks) from rain and sun. The toilets are really the only downside to this place. Located up a fairly steep flight of stairs, they are reasonably inaccessible to those who experience mobility challenges. They are in need of a lot of TLC and although they're fairly clean, they're hardly pleasant. The Guinness was apparently good 👴🍺

Thought the bar and drinks were great, but sitting outside we were approached by a few homeless people asking for money. Things escalated when we watched a woman scream crying for 20 min before chucking a vodka bottle at the ground. Really took away from the vibe and decided to leave after 1 drink

Typical bar. I tried an IPA and a Guines...both very good.

Usually come to this pub and normally have a great time however went in last week, the atmosphere wasn’t great at all in fact it was quite toxic, there was a group of people with a vicious dog who attacked two people coming in, luckily it had a muzzle on. Was disappointed overall, won’t be rushing back!

Ok pub, decent atmosphere. Service very slow and not in the order of when people get to the bar. Also saw an England fan thrown out for saying Wales are s**t , all that was required was a word saying to please not do that. IMO showed poor bar management.

A hidden gem in Bath. One would say it would get packed on St Patrick's day! I always love the Irish pub/bars, and this place I have been dying to visit since I saw it on day one of my holiday in Bath. I finally have, and I quite enjoyed my visit there.

Yeah I love flan o’briens for an evening drink/brawl/dance/manic episode. Friendly and interesting bar staff 👍🏼 Smells like booze what do u expect 👍🏼 Maybe best place to get on the booze in Bath. Regards

Very good pint of Guinness and the staff were very friendly.

Absolute dive bar do not go near €10 per drink the waiters are rude would avoid at all costs. Insulting to call this an Irish Bar, when the Irish are famous for their hospitality.

Good fun, not too packed, live music, I was transported to Ireland for a few hours! Loved it!

A weekend away in Bristol and Bath to savour this lovely town. Retail therapy complete we were seeking pubs serving mulled wine. This typical Irish pub was very busy and a bit quirky. A twosome consisting of a singer on lead guitar and his mate on a bass guitar were strumming out some good music. Good selection of real ales but we went for the mulled wine.....very expensive! Bar staff not particularly friendly....didn't even know the name of the band.....ah well !!

The manager and staff are amazing here. I use a stick and he even helped me up the stairs. Lovely friendly staff. Will definitely visit if in bath again. Well done sean

Really seemed a nice pub, busy at times but quiet at times at the bar, my husband called the barmaid over as we had been overlooked couple of times, blonde barmaid with pony tail probably in her 30s rudely told him not to call the bar staff !!!! Weird as he only called because we had been overlooked such a shame spoilt our night! Shame on her 🥴

Been here twice now. Both times we've just had a drink or two. It's a nice enough place. Not sure if they ever have entertainment on as I haven't seen anything while I've been in. But it's a nice enough place to stop by for a drink.

Friendly staff who take their time to pour Guinness properly like the Irish do. Music was good too. It had the added bonus of Celtic memorabilia on the walls too 🍀

Don't get a seat near the door to the toilets. It stinks. Saying that, the Guinness is Brill.

Wonderful vibrant Irish bar in the centre of Bath. Great music on Friday nights, shame it has to end at 10pm.

Had a fantastic night here. They had a guy singing solo with his guitar. He was incredible and by the end of the evening everyone was singing. Such a lively and friendly atmosphere.

A typical English pub, and during the day they take out tables on the pavement. Nice to visit. It works until midnight. Variety of beer and drinks.
