First of all, the food here was incredible! We had a fantastic cream tea with tasty homemade scones, and also a slice of banoffee cake to share between the two of us which we loved. We were sat by the window and the view was gorgeous over the river as we watched it get dark... The service was also amazing, the lady serving and at the counter was incredibly sweet and friendly, treating every customer coming in with love :) Would highly recommend!

Tiny place with lovely views of the weir. If it's busy just get a takeaway and find a nice spot to sit by the river.....worth it! The two ladies that served us yesterday were super, thank you ❤️

We called in late afternoon a couple of weeks ago on our way back to our car, intending to grab a drink and maybe a cake each to take back to our accommodation. The young lady who served us was lovely and it was a nice end to our day to be served by, and enjoy a chat, with someone so friendly and patient with our indecision despite probably just wanting to finish up!. We made our purchases and were sent off with a baguette each which was such a nice gesture. The cakes we bought, and the baguettes we enjoyed for our dinner, were delicious and I highly recommend this cafe which also has a view to die for if you are lucky enough to nab a table to dine in. Not sure if the young lady who served two chatty Australian women one afternoon two weeks ago with such kindness (and a baguette each) will even remember us, but you made our day, the food was delicious and we'd encourage anyone in the area to stop by the Pulteney Bridge Coffee Shop :)

We were fortunate to find this lovely watering hole.in the busyness and rush of of the city. We had struggled to find any place dog-friendl and indoors on a rainy afternoon in Bath and were so blessed by the welcome we recieved. The incredible view over the wear added to the excellent service and quality fair. I can recommend the vanilla bean frame, the cinnemon bun and the incredibly fresh baguettes. A nice house blend of coffee rounds off the perfect lunchtime visit. An absolute gem.

General – I’m reviewing this lovely Café under two different locations on Trip Advisor as there appears to be confusion over the name and location. This is the Café at the end of Pulteney Bridge simply called PULTENEY BRIDGE COFFEE. It’s a small Café thatthat would struggle to seat more than about 15 people at a time. The staff – very friendly and attentive. Provided a good service. The food – was excellent. Had the Full English Breakfast 2 days running. Top quality, reasonable price and very tasty. All the food they sell looks really good. The atmosphere – busy, popular and nice friendly atmosphere. Quite a small Café with people coming and going all the time to take away. Can get crowded. Value for money – certainly good value. Two breakfasts and coffees under £30. Visit again - definitely.

Shouted at everyone that they were closing in 15 mins but still served tea etc. Tried to help out by clearing the tables and she snapped the dishes from me. We visited this Cafe on Saturday afternoon, there were a number of empty tables, but they hadn’t been cleared, Customers had just put dirty dishes on the shelf by the window. We ordered Teas and a couple of coffees along with some cakes. the Tea arrived and the cakes and the forks were dirty. We asked if we could change the Forks and the waitress took them away only to return 5 mins later and pronounced that she had polished the forks just for us, totally unnecessary comment. The Coffee took another 15mins by which time we had already finished our cakes. Maybe if this lady had spent less time going out side for a cheeky vape then she could have checked her dishwasher for clean forks, or gave us our coffees in a timely fashion. There was no need for her attitude, at no point did we complain about the doors beening wedged open which made the place freezing , or the fact there there were so many cups and plates lying about.

Myself and partner stumbled across the Pulteney during a little walk on a few days away stay. The views were lovely over looking the river, this was the only reason we wanted to go in the first place. Inside it is very small and can only seat around 10 / 15 people and not all seats have a view of the river. The lady working was very polite to everyone that came in and did a very good job of upselling to people, she was with out question the best part of the cafe. We both had food that the cafe I asked for a large full english breakfast and pancakes. Pancakes were lovely and fluffy. They had a lovely texture to them and melted in your mouth, they came with butter and syrup we also got a banana as an upsell. The full English was a little bit of a let down, a large one s asked for was small and the toast was burnt. I feel that with regards to bacon and sausage it felt & tased cheap. I did eat it all and it did fill a gap but I was let down by this - If a meal check was undertaken I would have said something to gain a better understanding of the size. The coffee was good along with the tea. If you are looking for a quick drink on the go this is your place. The cakes and bits and bobs looked lovely and I will possibly get a cake before we leave later in the week. We spent around £25 for two meals and a drinks with the view I can't say it was expensive at all.

First of all, my order was delivered to the wrong table. The tea came first and arrived even before I had sat down after paying at the till, but I thought it was waiting to be cleared as the milk jug was angled inside the tea cup and the food was not there. Then the food was delivered to the same, wrong table. This was soon sorted out but the place is small, how hard is it to match the order to the face? I then discovered that the teacup had lipstick on it. The guy serving took it away and probably just wiped it off rather than bring me a fresh, clean cup but I don't know. I see other reviewers have had the same experience so cleanliness is apparently not a priority in this cafe. The cup didn't sit properly in the saucer, either, not sure they belonged together. Not sure if the teapot was clean but the surface of it seemed old and worn; it might just be some 'retro' look I don't get. I had a cream tea. The scones were warm but seemed dry, the texture unpleasant and claggy in my mouth. The cream and jam were fine but the quantity was very mean. The tea itself was good. I have walked past this cafe many times but never gone in. The idea of sitting looking out over the river was too tempting on a hot day but the experience was disappointing. And £7.90 for an indifferent cream tea is too much, even if the crockery had been clean. I guess when you run a charmingly situated Bath cafe, you can rely on the pull of that charm and let other matters slide. I would not visit this cafe again but I daresay the many tourists that do will keep it in business.

A daytrip to Bath; we parked in a side-street courtesy of a longtime associate. We then walked just-over half-a-mile to this coffee shop café on Pulteney Bridge. For those that don’t know Pulteney Bridge is a highly unusual structure; with shops built across both sides of the full span of the bridge, and this café is one of the shops. The views from the café are of the River Avon as it heads downstream towards Parade Gardens, and this includes the fabulous picturesque horseshoe weir. We had an absolutely wonderful coffee here, hot and strong, with a bitter burned caramel flavour. It was far better and cheaper than the cost-a-fortune coffee, and how can you beat that view? Service was efficient and pleasant.

Very friendly staff, and the best apple cinnamon flapjack I’ve ever had. Highly recommend! Would love to go back there soon to try some more of their delicious looking treats.

Food was decent though the cheesecake was really good. The outdoor views are amazing along with the site however £5.45 for a pint was just a rip off and there were not enough staff to cater for the wedding we had going on however not blaming any staff as they were all lovely people just needed more staff was all.

What a great way to start a Saturday morning. Service with a smile from Heidi and a fantastic coffee from layla. Thank you both for starting my weekend off with a smile.

Came for Sunday lunch. We went for the sharing roast quite expensive at £48. We were waiting for a while, 40 minutes. Food came out looked good, but it was lukewarm, I asked for more gravy to see if this warmed it up, but sadly not. We have been before but sadly we wouldn’t for food again.

A great little find in a lovely location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully presented and the pub is completely dog friendly.
