The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Nice pub & friendly staff but the Xmas meal was poor for £28. Hardly any turkey, loads of spuds & a few veg but very lack lustre meal. Would not recommend.

We were here in the area for a weekend and looking at the reviews of various pubs opted to try The Unicorn. We weren’t disappointed - from the friendly greeting to the roaring log fire in the corner, we felt very much at home. There was a good choice on the menu and the prices were pretty reasonable. Food was absolutely delicious and portions so large we couldn’t manage a dessert. We will definitely come back again next time we are in the area and I recommend everyone else to do the same as it’s a lovely little pub.

Nice local pub in Bagshot Lea. Staff are always friendly and the locals are always welcoming.

A good pub with lots of outdoor seating and sea views. Found the drinks are good, not silly prices, nice people working here and great music 🎶

Worst all day breakfast we’ve ever had, not very hot, bacon like shoe leather, nothing like picture, fried eggs were ok! Coffee ok, but whole thing was expensive. Not worth it. Staff very surly, as if everything was too much and they didn’t want to be there.

A one night stay to visit family. Arrived in time for a very late lunch; ham, eggs and chips for me was scrumptious and plentiful (proper ham and a duck egg) pork belly, mash and vegetables for hubby was just as delicious. Bar and breakfast staff lovely and friendly. A great pub but very tired looking. Our room was large but points deducted for decor and facilities; could do with good deep clean, hate decor cushions on bed which people probably throw on floor, toilet paper very thin (spare roll was left on floor so was dusty), furniture very tired, worn and grubby. Other than that, it was an enjoyable stay.

The soft drinks cost a fortune and arrived in small glasses that took my children 2 minutes to drink. The chips arrived stone cold, the food server didn't apologise and the replacement chips took ages to arrive. They weren't hot enough either! And look at their pathetic reply.

The reviews are absolutely true, the rooms are super quiet, extremely clean and very well maintained. Even with the window open it wasn’t loud at all. Entrance is through the pub and check in was quick and easy. Pub has a lovely beer garden too

Pub is very near Railway Station and opposite beach. Staff seem friendly & helpful. Food is well presented & good quality

Worst pub I have ever been in. The manager is racist and rude four of us were banned for no reason.

Excellent Curry and it comes with a drink or a glass of wine. One of our go to places when we visit Windsor.

The location was perfect, beautiful outdoor area (although some maintenance needed) I would give it 5 stars for location. The service and food do let it down though with is a shame. Service to order was slow, even before it got busy, and the service when eventually served was minimal. Food, again slow to come, but wasn’t all just microwaved so that was a small bonus. But for pub food it was slow and slightly overpriced. I would go again for the outdoor location.

Only reopened a few days before our visit so hoped all would be good and new. Decor is good, unfortunately breakfast was poor. Toast well over cooked and black, couldn't complain as they were near out of bread and we had to argue to get a bacon sandwich for our son as they had decided to only serve toast only with breakfasts. Bacon was overcooked, plate was cold as per usual meaning within seconds of plating up the beans are cold and it just sucks the warmth from the food. Can't be that hard to serve on a warmed plate. Can't say I'd return. Had a spoons breakfast in Eastleigh couple of weeks ago and it was 10 times hotter and 10 times better cooked.

Just had a wonderful meal with great staff. Unfortunatly, we hit the "App is garbage" problem. Having visited this venue since their previous 1 star cleanliness status had been raised with new management, our 4 previous visits have been wonderful. Their app rewards you for returning. We had 4 stars, £30 off a £60 spend. On recieving the Bill, our 4 stars have been reset to 1 and the £30 promised discount was nowhere to be seen. Our waitress, who was generally helpful, had no idea what to do about it. We paid the bill and have deleted the app as we wont be returning.
