The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Portsmouth South East

It was my first visit today. I have been following them on instagram and their posts make the food look amazing. The look of the cafe is gorgeous, reminds me of Spain. Bright, open, airy space and at first it looks quite small but there is loads of seating. There is an upstairs floor, more seating up another flight or stairs and then a cute little garden if you fancy some quiet. Unfortunately today I had already had lunch but I did go for a cake. There was so much selection, at least eight different options which looked equally delicious. I opted for the coffee and walnut cake which I think is the moistest, most delicious cake I have had! I have never tried matcha before and on the menu there was some interesting sounding varities like pistachio. I chose raspberry ripple and the staff member was knowledgable and helpful when I asked for some advice on what to choose. The vibe is great and the staff are warm and happy. The speaker was a bit loud where I was sitting so I asked if it could be turned down and without skipping a beat she replied it was no problem and did it straight away. As you can tell from my glowing review, I will be returning many times!

Best cafe around. Don’t be fooled by Kye’s cafe being in a builders merchant that you’re going to receive a greasy horrible breakfast. All good ingredients and great service.

We booked Scotts Tap and Keller for my partner’s 50th birthday celebrations, and are so glad that we did. We had drinks in Scotts for 20 people, where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had great hospitality. All the staff were brilliant, and are a credit to Paul and the team. Simon had a fantastic birthday and I can’t thank you all enough for making everything run so smoothly on the day, with brilliant customer service throughout. Highly recommended if you are looking for the perfect place to hold a celebration party in Portsmouth! Sarah xx

This was my 2nd visit of 2022. It did not disappoint. We had pre-booked the Christmas Afternoon Tea. WOW! A selection of seasonal hot drinks were offered as well as tea and more usual coffee selections. Next, finger sandwiches also with a seasonal Christmas theme, along with pigs in blankets and stuffing balls (served hot). Gorgeous scones with clotted cream and jam. And a lovely selection of bakes, which we had to take away as we were too full! This cafe really is a little gem. Thank goodness I don’t live near enough to come too often or I wouldn’t fit through the door. Loved it!

This cafe is well named, its certainly a delight! The staff are alway happy and will go out of there way to accommodate you off menu orders. Special mention for the coffee and extra special mention for the service

We had a lovely breakfast here, the food was delicious and really tasty. Service was great the staff were very friendly and helpful they are child friendly. We sat in the garden which was lovely in the sun! Thank you

We were hoping to visit your café while waiting for our ferry, which unfortunately wasn’t due for another eight hours. Sadly, we found out the café had already closed at 12:30 that day. Around 1:30 PM, the owner — who was probably waiting for a ride home — saw us looking longingly through the window and taking a sad photo in front of the closed door. To our surprise and delight, she kindly gave us three donuts for the road. They were absolutely delicious and truly made our day! Thank you so much for this warm and generous gesture — it meant a lot to us. We hope to visit properly next time!

Had a lovely brunch, with my family, at Melodys today. Portion sizes were very generous, and the food was delicious. So nice to see a genuine independent cafe, still run by a local person who cares for her community.

I have been a customer and took also potential customer there , which spent quite a lot of money on shopping. I feel the service it’s bad and the cleanliness leave a lot to desire . I have tried to understand as to why , the standards are going down and service is mediocre. Today I have experienced bad service to the point of rudeness. So I will not go back there .
