Kye's Cafe - Selco Cafe Portsmouth in Portsmouth

Best cafe around. Don’t be fooled by Kye’s cafe being in a builders merchant that you’re going to receive a greasy horrible breakfast. All good ingredients and great service.

Having just returned from 2 weeks training in Portsmouth I cannot stop raving about Kyes Cafe to everyone! Whether you are passing by for a quick bite to eat or on your lunch break, they have so much variety, very generous portion sizes, a different special everyday, the best hearty home comforts to satisfy any craving and don’t even get me started on the biscoff and kinder brownies and Victoria sponge! Kye and the lovely ladies alongside him make a fantastic team and always make you feel welcome, greeting you with a smile. You can see so much effort and love goes into their cafe and I will be sure to pay a visit whenever I’m back down in Portsmouth.

I had to stay in Portsmouth for 2 weeks for work training, and myself and my colleagues went to Kye's every day for lunch. The options are fantastic, and the portion size and taste is wonderful! I will miss my roast chicken salad baguette.... Kye is also such a lovely and warm guy, he chats to everyone who comes in and it's clear to see why there are many repeat customers. The girls who work there are fab also - all so friendly and approachable. Service with a smile always :) I will miss going to Kye's and if I'm ever in Portsmouth again, I'll know where to go for breakfast or lunch!

The best lunch you can get this side of Portsmouth! And I can say that on good authority as I ate here every day for lunch for two weeks. I believe I tried pretty much everything on their very impressive menu as well as their specials, and it was always a treat that I looked forward to every lunchtime. The staff are just as lovely as the food and don’t even get me started on their cakes! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Popped in Selco to get some materials for work and saw there was a cafe open. Thought I’d give it a go and have been twice since. Will return.

What a find. I took my car into the garage next door and they told us we could get a cuppa next door. Glad we did lush food, great prices and lovely staff, glad I'm back this week to pick car up shall make a pit stop here. Oh and the homemade cake was to die for, bought 2 more slices to take home. Yummy 😋
