This was my 2nd visit of 2022. It did not disappoint. We had pre-booked the Christmas Afternoon Tea. WOW! A selection of seasonal hot drinks were offered as well as tea and more usual coffee selections. Next, finger sandwiches also with a seasonal Christmas theme, along with pigs in blankets and stuffing balls (served hot). Gorgeous scones with clotted cream and jam. And a lovely selection of bakes, which we had to take away as we were too full! This cafe really is a little gem. Thank goodness I don’t live near enough to come too often or I wouldn’t fit through the door. Loved it!

We had booked afternoon tea and arrived to find our reserved table. What a lovely little cafe this is! The decor, the china , the teapots (real tea!) , the cakes (OMG! The cakes!!) , the scones (better than The Ritz - yes, really) the lovely staff and the warm and friendly service. We LOVED it. This place deserves 5* . If you haven’t tried it yet - go!

Today was only my second visit to Cafe Bleu but I was welcomed back as if I was family; the owners are so friendly, it’s so lovely. My first visit was for coffee and a delicious homemade cake on my lunch break and today was for afternoon tea for my Mum for Mother’s Day and it didn’t disappoint, We had a very friendly welcome and I already knew it was excellent value but the food was really delicious. We had pre-ordered our sandwich fillings - egg mayo, tuna and cucumber; cheese and pickle and coronation chicken - and they were so good! If it hadn’t have been Mother’s Day, I’m not sure I’d have offered one of my coronation chicken sandwiches to my Mum 😂 Then we had fruity scones with clotted cream and (then!) jam and to top it off, the most incredible tasting homemade victoria sponge cake. Upon seeing a picture of it, my Mum said “if ever you should use the word ‘wow’, this is the time!” Another reason I love Cafe Bleu is the cozy, neighbourhood feel with nice decor with locally sourced blooms from an independent nearby. Everyone is welcome - dogs, very much so! - and I cannot wait to visit again and introduce more friends!

We stopped off here on the way to visiting my Mum in her nirsing home. Very friendly service and nice coffee. They bake bread and are very enthusiastic about it. We will order some bread 24 h in advance next time we come.

A new addition to Highland Road and a welcome one. At last a coffee shop that makes first class coffee and excellent range of home made cakes. The scones are superb! Small seating area inside which gives to a lovely friendly, family atmosphere. The owners make you immediately feel welcome and I love the fact everything is done right in front of you. High ceilings give to a lovely airy feel and the decor is clean and contemporary. Coffee (tried a latte and a flat white) is first class and there is a delightfully comfortable banquette which makes you want to settle for the afternoon. Go and try it; you won't want to leave.

We recently visited the restaurant, and while the atmosphere and service were excellent, the food was quite disappointing. The dishes arrived surprisingly fast, which made us suspect they weren’t freshly prepared. Unfortunately, our suspicions were confirmed—the food lacked depth and flavour, tasting as if it had been frozen and reheated. While everything looked great visually, the taste didn’t live up to expectations. Given the presentation, we were hoping for much more. I appreciate the effort put into the service and setting, but for the price and expectations, the food quality needs significant improvement.

Decided to take a trip to Portsmouth from London on a whim, and in my search for a decent cup of coffee, came across Hideout, needless to say my quest ended there, not only the coffee was primo, but the Apple Pie Donut was killer. The atmosphere and decor is brilliant as well! I give them 11.½ coffee beans out of 10.

I've never had an issue with Andres before but today has ruined my opinion of them. they left a panini off of the order so only one of them were delivered. I rang up expecting that they could send out the one I'd already paid for (and paid delivery on) but they said I'd have to collect. I'm not near an Andres and shouldn't be expected to go all the way there to collect something I already paid delivery on. I go in a lot but that's the end of my support
