Javalicious Coffee House in Portsmouth

In a street of very mediocre establishments this was fantastic find. Quiet, good food, good coffee and friendly service. I heartily recommend this coffee stop.

I used Javalicious's catering service to provide the lunch for a small conference hosted at the Empower Centre, in which Javalicious is situated. Jenny and her team provided impeccable service and quality, and the luncheon provided for 37 guests without fault or complaint. Leading up to the conference, and on the day, the communication with Jenny was excellent - she is a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend more highly the catering service that Jenny offers.

One of our many visits to this oasis in the centre of Portsmouth.As always a really friendly welcome. Plenty of room and although busy at times there always seems to be enough seating. We enjoy their delicious coffee and endeavour to try something new from their menu on each visit. So far no disappointments. Please take time to find them as you will enjoy it.

I came here having read the excellent review by the food critic in the local paper - she was not wrong in giving it such a high score! Food and drinks were delicious and beautifully presented, the atmosphere was relaxed, staff friendly and helpful, service good. And the prices were amazingly reasonable - would definitely recommend a visit.

In Kingston Road and took the chance to visit this well reviewed cafe. Opened the door and walked in and was immediately struck by the good atmosphere and warm welcome. Excellent coffee and very helpful and friendly staff, a variety of comfortable seats plus the benefit of free wifi. Did not eat on this occasion but the menu is wide and provides all the usual breakfast and lunch choices at very reasonable prices. Will make an early return visit, the previous reviews do not mislead. Try it, you will not be disappointed, however bear in mind opening hours are from 0830 until 1500.

great value for money, the jacket potatoes are incredible and the breakfast toasties are unique and extremely tasty. Worth popping in, even for a coffee and slice of cake!

was lovely, took Dad for a coffee, food, deserts the best!! Nice back ground music, staff were friendly, I'll recommend it to any one, friends, family, couples...again deserts swept me off my feet!

Good value food, free wifi, easy parking and a chilled out place. I now use it weekly as a place to work and grab a coffee and sandwich.

I have discovered the best coffee house in portsmouth! Great vibe, amazing lunch for £3, great quality, taste and plentiful! Highly recommend it, you need to pay this place a visit!

Fabulous service and great value for money! My favourite are the jacket spuds with yummy filling. If you fancy a coffee and cake this is the place to how be. Staff are super friendly and are eager to provide good customer service.

Popped in to have a Saturday morning treat with my 12yo son. Both had sausage sandwich and a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. Very friendly service and great food. Will definitely make a return visit :)

A gem in Kingston Road. Portsmouth. Really nice food and great coffee at excellent prices. A lovely place to chill out and watch the world go by. Would recommend a visit.

I love the warm atmosphere and the food is awesome! Also the staff are friendly and the homemade soup is to die for! It's taken over from my main watering hole as a place to chill out and relax :)

The staff here are amazing. The food is lovely. The soups are home made and incredible. Awesome place to come and Chillax or actually have a chat with the staff.

Really cool place to have a coffee and a snack. The atmosphere is so relaxed and warm and the service is totally amazing! Try their homemade soup - it's gorgeous! And the coffee - well, what can I say - simply the best in town!

Very simply the Best Coffee Shop on The South Coast! Amazing coffee, great soups, sandwiches and jackets, not forgetting the most delicious cakes. The prices are very reasonable to. The staff are always most friendly and the whole place has a real communty feel about it. Their really is nothing elsa like it in Portmouth.

Most importantly, really good coffee! Great food and lots of it. The staff are so friendly and the Gluten free cakes are the best I have tasted yet...

Delicious soup! Great value coffee, cake and food - good portions for a really good price. Warm and friendly environment. There is no where like it in this area of Portsmouth. Oh, and did I mention, the soup is delicious!!

A great new coffee shop, looks very nice inside, good ambience. The service was very good – very friendly.

Good coffee, great paninis and really yummy soup. Theres often the chance to taste new cakes or soups at the counter. Prices are very reasonable and the cafe has a very chilled, shabby-chic interior. Staff are really friendly. Definitely worth a try if you're in North End.

This place has only recently opened. The space has been used well and there are a variety of seating areas available.
