We booked Scotts Tap and Keller for my partner’s 50th birthday celebrations, and are so glad that we did. We had drinks in Scotts for 20 people, where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had great hospitality. All the staff were brilliant, and are a credit to Paul and the team. Simon had a fantastic birthday and I can’t thank you all enough for making everything run so smoothly on the day, with brilliant customer service throughout. Highly recommended if you are looking for the perfect place to hold a celebration party in Portsmouth! Sarah xx

Lovely little spot to relax and try a new beer. Works perfectly for a pre dinner drink if you eating next door at the Kings Street Tavern. Although quite small upstairs there have a downstairs section as well.

Having only happened upon Scott’s a few months ago, I’ve been making up for lost time across their diverse beer offering. Mikey is wonderful, he’s friendly and knowledgeable and I recommend asking him for suggestions if you’re not sure on what to order or would like to try something new.

This is a great small bar. The selection of beer is terrific often with local beer from Gosport or the New Forest. The barman is friendly and warm. It's just a great place.

We recently visited the restaurant, and while the atmosphere and service were excellent, the food was quite disappointing. The dishes arrived surprisingly fast, which made us suspect they weren’t freshly prepared. Unfortunately, our suspicions were confirmed—the food lacked depth and flavour, tasting as if it had been frozen and reheated. While everything looked great visually, the taste didn’t live up to expectations. Given the presentation, we were hoping for much more. I appreciate the effort put into the service and setting, but for the price and expectations, the food quality needs significant improvement.

8 Charter House Lord Montgomery Way, Portsmouth PO1 2SB EnglandDecided to take a trip to Portsmouth from London on a whim, and in my search for a decent cup of coffee, came across Hideout, needless to say my quest ended there, not only the coffee was primo, but the Apple Pie Donut was killer. The atmosphere and decor is brilliant as well! I give them 11.½ coffee beans out of 10.

54 Osborne RoadHad an issue with Uber with the wrong item arriving, and they went above and beyond to help solve the issue. Will definitely be ordering from them again as the food that did arrive was lovely, and the guy we spoke to over the phone was very helpful.
