Delight cafe in Portsmouth

This cafe is well named, its certainly a delight! The staff are alway happy and will go out of there way to accommodate you off menu orders. Special mention for the coffee and extra special mention for the service

Great service and a good quality breakfast featuring the almost legendary sausages from Astles, a local butcher. The coffee too was high quality. A 5 star breakfast.

Lovely cafe, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and produce from Astles butcher down the road from them. Add all of those together and you get one of the best breakfasts I’ve had I ages 😁

Friendly service, good value and very tasty English breakfast with very nice coffee included, hope to return cheers very much.

Staff always friendly and quick, food always good, coffee one of the best. a great meeting place to catch up with Family or friends or business contacts.

Great for a friendly bite to eat and chill with a good choice on the menu with very clean interior it is also very close to where I live and its nearly always very busy.

Absolutely love this café!!! The staff are fabulous. Friendly, polite and nothing too much trouble. The quality of the food is excellent and cooked to perfection!!! Great choice of menu for food and drinks, something for everyone. Have never been disappointed with any of the meals we've ordered....best breakfast in Portsmouth!! So tasty and never have too long to wait for food being prepared. Great variety of cakes too, some homemade!! Delicious!! Best hot chocolate in Portsmouth!!! The cafe is immaculately clean, plenty of seating and has a lovely atmosphere. Lovely decor. Would highly recommend a visit.

Overpriced brunch breakfast menu with very little effort. Ordered a meal which included a coffee. Coffee was the same price as the hot chocolate. They wouldn’t allow to swap the coffee for the hot chocolate. (Can’t bend the rules to go a little extra mile!) Ordered a children’s meal menu which consisted of four fish fingers including sides. They came with two fish fingers. The chicken sweet chilli wrap. Keep away from ordering. Literally cooked chicken drenched if sweet chilli sauce. Sickly! Ordered a veggie breakfast. Food came they full English breakfast. Overall not a second visit in sight.

Had a lovely breakfast this morning with work friends. The Cafe was warm, cosy and welcoming, and looking very Christmassy at the moment. I can highly recommend Delight for any occasion, the food and service are great!
