The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

We had the hand raised British pork pie. We really enjoyed it, but not familiar with the way. Food is served in Oxford. I was surprised that it wasn’t hot. It reminded me of cold head cheese or something similar that my mom or sister would serve. It was very tasty and we enjoyed it and soaked it up as part of the experience. We also had and shared the fennel, orange and chestnut salad a complete vegetarian meal or side or starter, and it was tasty I haven’t got used to stepping away from my table to go and order my meal. I do like table service. Maybe I’m spoiled.

Went for bottomless brunch, the drinks were tasty and the food was great! Jess & Emma couldn’t have been more attentive if they tried. Never had an empty glass. Really made my Nan’s 70th a special day, even got a birthday cocktail! Thanks again for a great experience!

We stayed in The Dog with our 2 Yorkshire Terriers for a 2 night break taking advantage of the bed, breakfast and dinner package. We stayed in room 4 which was not only beautiful and comfortable but also had a Christmas tree in it which was a lovely touch. The bar area was cosy with a great choice of beers and cocktails. But the reason we choose to stay at The Dog is for the exceptional meals. We both had a 3 course meal each night and every course was not only presented beautifully but the taste and flavors were amazing. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Well done The Dog keep up the outstanding service you provide and we look forward to our next stay.

We had the Bang Bang Shrimps which were really delicious. The lobster roll and crab were good as well. The mulled wine was super with fresh oranges. Only disappointment was that they had no mussels or cod. We were late, however, so they were sold out. The service was impeccable.

It was quiet for our Xmas do though we may have been the first to have a big group event :) We had the festive menu. The carvery was lovely, however if veg is left on hotplate too long it can be bit hard - not sure if there's another solution to this. Some in the group were not overly enamoured with the Mac 'N' Cheese, felt it was not cheesy enough. The chips were overcooked which came wit the burger. Overall, it was a super evening, lovely venue and welcoming staff.

We have just had the loveliest weekend staying at The Old Vine and cannot fault it. There were three of us and we stayed in the annex across the road. This was perfect- we had a sitting room, a kitchen and two bedrooms which were spotless. The location is fantastic- step out of the door and you are 10 seconds from the cathedral square. We booked to eat in the restaurant one evening and the food was delicious. The breakfast was the best I’ve eaten in a long time and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Great garden centre. Amazing amount of stock, though some prices are quite high. Excellent cafe and food prices all very reasonable.

It's Costa, nice flat white and decent pastries. It was busy but didn't wait too long. We'll be back

As a regular Costa Coffee customer visiting various locations whilst out shopping, I found that the customer service at this particular branch is diabolical. The server kept me waiting whilst he was cleaning the coffee machine, the counter was in disarray, 5 tables needed clearing and we were the only customes in the restaurant.

Happened upon the pub on a drive out, so stopped for a drink and lunch. I had the pie of the day, which was steak and ale, my partner had the pork in a cream sauce. Both meals were excellent. They came piping hot and huge portions, lots of lovely veg. Would definitely recommend and go again.

A friend and I was in M&S looking for ladies hats ....this shop assistant asked what you looking for 🤬 instead of saying can I help you...so rude and had a attitude. I won't be going back in there . It amazes me how they get a job .
