Cozy interior with private feeling table. Best fries we had in the Cotswolds. Kids enjoyed their burgers - grateful for a kids menu! Mains were all "heavier" options, so I chose soup and side salad. Celeriac soup was nice.

I hate to complain but festive afternoon tea was dreadful. Sandwiches were hard like they had just been removed from refrigerator and scones were like rock cakes - when I cut into mine it bounced off of my plate and into my lap. We didn’t even attempt the small cakes on top tier as we were put off. The fire and glass of champagne was lovely but sadly I would never return or recommend and I do love my afternoon teas and regularly have them. Such a shame this wasn’t better as I would have taken friends and family as the setting is beautiful.

The grounds are stunning. The manor house impressive. Staff fantastic. The Manor - restaurant was great service but VERY expensive. The mains are £28 - £32 each and does not include the potatos or veg. The mains are tiny portions. The potatos £6 for a side dish

Always love coming here although can't come as often as I would like! Brought my niece for a Christmas get-together and the lady behind the bar couldn't have been more helpful, she absolutely made our day. I had a voucher to use which confused me but she sorted it all out. Sorry I don't remember he name but I've lost the receipt. We had a great time.

Had been here a few years back and were very happy with the meal we had. On going back we found same high quality, the standards had been maintained. We received a warm welcome ( two of us plus our border collie), and there was a very wide range of options on the menu. The service was friendly, polite and helpful. We did not wait long to be served and our food arrived quickly, and was of very good quality. Warm comfortable surroundings, and an overall excellent experience.

Met friends here today for a Sunday Roast. The pub was buzzing when we arrived. We received a lovely welcome. The starters were good. Whitebait and Patte. Next the roasts. We had beef. It was a really tasty plate of food. The beef was well cooked, the Yorkshire pudding was the right size in my opinion. sometimes they are huge as if the chef has something to prove! The potatoes were crispy. Not easy I imagine when you're cooking for the masses. Lovely selection of veg and tasty gravy, so all in all, a good dining experience

Nice pub, rude cook. I watched her as a she recieved a delivery from Sainsbury's I think. She was rude and ungrateful to the driver.

Beautiful pub, cosy. Staff nice but the menu…. Starters overpriced, tiniest little portions clearly out of packet. Put me off eating there I’m afraid.

This is a review of the cafe/ restaurant. The American/Canadian lady that welcomed us was amazing, but the other staff didn’t really want to be there. My pancakes which were delicious arrived and then quite a long wait before our drinks and my husband’s scone arrived. I don’t mind a long wait, but please bring it together. The scone was certainly not fresh. It was quite dry. I have been here before and had great service and food, but on this occasion it wasn’t great. If it wasn’t for the lovely host lady I would have to consider if I want to go again.

We stayed here for lunch an overnight stay and breakfast. Lunch was lovely, tasty and hit . The room we stayed in was the suite. A little rough with marked walls and a broken toilet which we mentioned when we arrived but was not fixed. There was a nice large comfortable bed. It would be good if the TV was on a wall bracket so it could be watched from the bed. Breakfast was a little disappointing. I don’t think the early morning suited our server. We asked her if there was any brown sauce, she said she would check but no update until I asked her again and the answer was no … forgetful? Toast was also forgotten about.

Lovely location right by the Thames. The interior is tasteful, great staff. We had a fabulous Sunday lunch, best Yorkshires followed by a few drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely return.

Lovely location and building.. restaurant and breakfast great. Room not so much. Very soft bed. Window don't shut gaps around it. Damage on wall. Room tired. Bathroom shower door struggle to shut having to slam or lift door. Shower coming away from the wall . Room smells but that could to be as fancy in bathroom not working. Deep cleaning required look down in top of radiators not been cleaned for a long time. Same goes for the hall ways. Don't look into the tops of the radiators. Room 210

Bar maid was friendly. waitress threw food on table, breaded mushrooms frozen in middle, nachos covered too much and soggy, in fact it’s the worst food I have had in my life I won’t be returning!
