I have been sending my holiday let guests here all year and every single one of them comes back with incredible reviews. This is a truly traditional English pub with great food, drinks and staff. Whether I send couples there for a date or a group of friends for celebration, they get really looked after and enjoy the experience. Thanks for looking after my guests.

This is a beautiful, dark, and intimate pub. It checks all the boxes for what I was looking for in a classic English public house. Excellent food and ambience. It can fill up fast as it’s not that large of a space so get reservations if you can.

Initially Greeted by Barman with - being asked to show ID and all tables are reserved. Once ID was shown for my 19 year old son and explained that we had a reservation we were shown our table. Manager popped back and said he’s constantly telling people table are reserved and no under 18s. The pub is an absolute gem. Firmly on the tourist trail but somehow feels like a local. Lots of people sitting outside having a drink. Inside the pub is a lovely olde world but unpretentious pub that doesn’t try hard to be authentic with candles lit even in the day. The three of us all had the roast. The service was excellent with drinks brought over. The roast was without doubt the best we have ever had. Lots of lamb and beef. Can’t recommend Thai pub enough. Will def be back

Myself, partner and friend (plus dog) stopped at this beautiful pub for a couple of pints. The pub itself is steeped in history. Lots of interesting old photos and trinkets to look at inside and generally has the feel of a traditional British pub. We were served by two pleasant bar staff and sat outside in the sun. We didn’t have any food but the inside tables were mostly booked for lunch, up so it must be popular. The only thing that let the pub down was the ladies toilet needing some maintenance. Would we visit again? Yes.

After the Guard Change ceremony and a walk-about near the Castle I brought my overseas friends to he Two Brewers, the epitome of an old English pub. The five of us had drinks but before they had finished theirs – and while we were deliberating as to staying for lunch and more drinks, my own empty glass was brusquely whisked away, without polite enquiry, as if to say ‘its time you went!’. Therefore that’s what we did! We went to the George at Eton and enjoyably spent £190 there, instead. The bar manager or landlord said about taking the glasses “its what we do”. With one eye on throughput at busy times, I’d guess? It is very small inside. But to me, as it’s policy, and not lack of staff training, its avoidably rude. Akin to removing an empty plate when the other diners are still eating. More importantly, lol, and quite unusually in UK, children under 18, from babies upwards, are not allowed in the Two Brewers. But welcome to be at benches on the pavement outside. I didn’t notice if there are any umbrellas provided!

visited today (09-12-2020) , first time to the pub. such a lovely place! .. most of all - this time of year - the decor - i fell in love with it!! .. perfectly festive.A covid-safe pub!! - sanitiser available upon entry, track'n'trace or manual register, tables are socially distanced, lots of information on do's and don'ts. we went late afternoon, had a gorgeous bottle of Malbec (Le Potager) with a ciabatta sandwich with Turkey and the trimmings and fries. substantial portion, warm and very tasty! loved the presentation of food. service wise - nothing was too much. definitely on my "go-back to" list :)

Perfectly old and traditional feel that makes you miss your country pub back home with the handwritten and limited food menu offering fresh food thats miles away from all the tacky, glossy printed menus with too many options “pubs” have these days. This pub is located right next to one of the gates into Windsor Great Park and is about asperfect an example of the old fashioned British pub as you'll find these days. Not a hint of gastro pub about it, though it has a reputation for good food. Its interior is cosy, with small bar access points and lots of old photos and other historic items on display. There are lots of wooden wine case panels on the walls. Service is friendly and as efficient as the rather cramped bar areas allow. There's a reasonable range of beers and lagers on offer. Quick lunch with friends before visiting castle. Small, cosy traditional pub with better than usual food, proper beer and friendly service.

This is a staple for us when visiting Windsor. The pub is small but very compact with real character and charm. Good selection of drinks, particularly wine. The food looks amazing. We tried the steak ciabattas which were delicious. Friendly staff. The landlord has a board with daily historical facts which is fascinating and the log fire could keep you there all day when it’s cold. We always find it a difficult pub to leave!

We had booked to eat here on a Sunday. The pub is easy to locate near the Castle. When we arrived the place was packed. We had a little wait for our table as we were early. As soon as our table was free we were called to be seated. I must say the service and the Sunday roast were very good. We enjoyed the beef very tasty, the vegetables were nicely cooked and the gravy was delicious. The puds were generous, sticky toffee pud was good. Would definitely recommend but be sure to book.

Such a lovely pub!!! Super festive and the food was incredible. I had the beef roast and my partner had the pork belly and they were both delicious! We didn’t leave anything! The atmosphere is so romantic, quaint old worldly pub vibe and the staff were sooooo friendly, we had Dee serving us and she was amazing! So friendly!!! And didn’t judge me for wanting mint sauce with my beef! We can’t wait to come back again! Recommend booking a table! As it gets very busy!!! You don’t want to miss out!!!

Don’t bother for a Sunday roast with a family.. no babies allowed inside so we opted to sit outside. Then told they don’t serve food outside. What a joke.

Visited here with my father, sister and girlfriend. I’ve not been here for 5 years but it was as good as I remembered. We all opted for a Traditional Sunday Roast. I had the Roast Belly Pork which was one of the beat roasts I’ve had for a long time. My family all tried a different roast and all thoroughly enjoyed. I just had to try the homemade cheesecake after which again was delicious. Service was superb too. Friendly, polite, efficient and knowledgable. Thanks, we will return.

Despite being a busy Saturday lunchtime the service we received was excellent as was the food and beer. The landlord changed my slightly cloudy but fresh beer at the table saying it was not up to his usual high standards. I wish more cask ale serving pubs followed this example. Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Terrific little pub. Next to Windsor Castle at the end of the long walk. Great for a pit stop after a walk in the park on a cold, windy, wet day. Food menu looked interesting. Nice warm fire

We popped in hoping for a table and we weren’t disappointed. At first everything was booked but the bar staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We then had the best Sunday Roast dinner we had had for a long time. Great atmosphere, great service, great value. Would definitely re visit if we are in the area again. Thank you !!

My wife and I stopped here for lunch on 15 June 2018 as a final stop on our three week tour of Scotland, England and gardens. Whenever we are in or near Windsor we always make it a point to stop for lunch or dinner -- have been visiting the pub since the 1980's. We have never been disappointed by the staff or with the food, wines and ales. Staff are always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food always excellent. If you are visiting and want to experience a truly traditional pub, this is the only one in Windsor. We will again be in the UK in 2019, probably for our last visit, and will be in Windsor for several nights at the end of our tour. Will absolutely stop by for lunch and/or dinner. I would highly recommend booking a table ahead as they are almost always busy.

Warm, friendly and cosy, with a fire in the bar. A great example of the type, loaded with atmosphere and history. Booking a table is essential for evening meals, and the food is reasonably priced and above average for a pub.

My friend and I found this little gem of a place by chance while in the area Geocaching. This place was so good! With a warm welcoming atmosphere. The management and staff were friendly and courteous throughout. It has a beautiful outdoor garden with a lovely aroma and a paved area with tables under a trellis with foliage, it is pretty, and just opposite the river Thames. They also have a playground nearby with a small crazy golf. The breakfast was value for money. With no frills and no fuss, everything is freshly cooked to order. Great location with good parking £5 for the whole day We will certainly be back when in the area again

Food was excellent. Damion was very attentive and helpful, particularly with the app, and we were very happy with our 25% off! Rotisserie chicken was delicious and juicy 🙌

Excellent pub and eatery. Great food and very good cask ale. The owners have obviously worked extremely hard to make it safe and warming for people to visit. The owners and staff make you feel very welcome.
