Such a lovely evening. Really nice atmosphere, great food! Order the PKFC, you won’t be disappointed. Robbie our waiter was brilliant, super friendly and really attentive. Thank you! Little gem.
A finger licking experience! Food is absolutely delicious and you can tell it’s made from fresh. Service is fantastic. Will definitely go back and would recommend it if you’re in the area. You might want to book first… 😉
Fried chicken was 10/10 and the chips were great aswell. Can’t miss with these guys. Chicken was crisp and succulent with a lovely salty sweet marinade. Chips were crisp and fluffy.
Absolutely lovely brunch with fresh ingredients cooked with attention to detail and a very attentive waitress that served us. Couldn't knock a thing about it. 💯 Going back.
Fantastic food. The most friendly and professional staff, and the best atmosphere . There is nowhere like it for value for money and it shows in the number of customers attending
Great Valentine meal with my boyfriend. Delicious food and friendly service. Romantic atmosphere with a great dimmed lighting
Rib-Eye steak and mixed grill was delicious, apple crumble with ice cream was the best dessert I ever had
I picked this restaurant out as a new option for Sunday lunch near Ascot.
It’s had the best reviews which set our expectations high . There was nothing to fault with the Sunday lunch, portions were generous and food was very nice. Service was also quick and amenable. It certainly appeared to be a popular place for locals and families.
Would definitely come back
Lovely platters and salads. GF bread. Delicious wines! Elizabeth and Monique are warm and friendly and provide a cozy atmosphere and great service. La Planchette is my favourite place for a relaxed evening. Highly recommend! Best to book as this is getting very popular.
Top rated is the food at this small charming venue.Depending where you sit you can watch the chef cook your food. The food is fabulous .Small menu but big enough choice and realistic for the size of restaurant .I had crab salad, the beef and brûlée for afters.I had to stop short licking the plates.Wine was good, beer good and cider good .Service attentive not all over you great balance. To sum up brilliant small restaurant cracking food and service.

Wow! The cake looked exactly as I had asked and it tasted even better! We had so many compliments and I can't thank Jaimee enough! Highly recommended! She will certainly be our chosen baker going forward. Thank you so much!
Been waiting to try this spot for ages after hearing about it! So great to have a spot in Windsor serving up banging vegan scran. Dad and I both had the vegan BLT, which was spot on - exactly what I needed after being on teams calls all morning! Mum had the lentil soup, which looked stunning and was dead tasty. Very friendly staff and good vibes all round, can't wait to visit next time I'm in town - thanks guys!
Wow, what a hidden gem! Having read the reviews I thought I would give it a try as we had family over for a visit and we weren’t disappointed. Nicely tucked away, lovely and fresh looking outside and in, staff very friendly and attentive and food was amazing, fresh and tasty. Thank you Boleros for a lovely evening, our Australian family had a great time, as did we. Neil and family
I’ve been wanting to try this place ever since they featured on a BBC program. I was not disappointed. I arrived with a friend and my wife, both Bajans originally, and my dog. I thought erroneously my small dog would not be allowed in but she was welcomed in. It was late afternoon on a Sunday so maybe that was in her favour as the restaurant was quiet.
The food was outstanding. I chose brown stew chicken with rice and peas. It also come with fried plantain which was a bonus and a small pot of coleslaw. The chicken was succulent and tasty, a slightly sweet savoury sauce covered it which was soaked up by the rice. The coleslaw was also as is the tradition, slightly sweet but this was offset by a little sprinkle of brown mustard seeds giving a buzz of pungency which hit the spot. My fellow diners had the grilled tilapia and the escovitch fish. All three dishes were of generous proportion. The vegetables medley with the tilapia was aromatic and had a well-balanced growing heat from chilli.
Unfortunately due to lack of time our group had to forego a pudding. That will be for next time.
A lovely evening enjoyed with excellent cooking and great bonhomie from the staff.
