Good food, really nice deserts, lovely hot chocolate and hot drinks / smoothie selection. We are regulars here as we are vegan and often bring our non-vegan friends. Great for toddlers as there’s an enclosed play area. Staff are friendly.

Amazing little gem hidden away in Daniel’s store in Windsor. We absolutely love the vegan and vegetarian menu and the desserts are so scrumptious!! My absolute favourite is the prana chai. Very special place and an oasis in the middle of bustling Windsor. The owner Manni is so generous apart from being a very talented vegan chef. We tried the new vegan tiramisu not yet on menu and it was absolutely delicious . Manni generously sent us home with four complementary slices and we savoured every bite!! Thank you Manni for a wonderful afternoon!

Best vegan food I've had in ages and the prices.... definitely value for money. The food here is absolutely delicious! There's so much choice it's ridiculous! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The staff went the extra mile when we asked for a takeaway and they are so friendly! I Highly recommend if you are vegan or vegetarian or you just want really amazing food!

The Garden of Eden in Windsor is an absolute hidden gem and a must-visit for anyone in the area. Don’t be fooled by the location of this restaurant, from the moment we arrived, the warm and inviting atmosphere from the servers made it clear this is a special spot. The real highlight, however, is the incredibly talented chef and owner, Mani. His cooking is nothing short of extraordinary—whether you're vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or just a fan of exceptional food, Mani has something for everyone. Every dish is packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and made with the finest ingredients. I recently visited with my family, and we all agreed it was the best meal we’ve had in ages. The flavors were so vibrant, and the variety of options catered to all our dietary needs without compromising on taste. Plus, the prices are fantastic for the quality of food you get. What really set this experience apart, though, was Mani himself. He came out and took the time to engage with us personally, sharing the story behind his ingredients and the thoughtful details he’s put into every aspect of the restaurant. It was such a breath of fresh air to hear a chef and owner who genuinely cares about his customers and his craft. His passion for food and his commitment to excellence shine through in everything he does. The Garden of Eden is also perfect for families. They have a kids' play area, making it an ideal spot for a family outing. And to top it all off, they’re dog-friendly, so our furry family members were welcome too! If I could give a 7/5 rating, I absolutely would. I honestly can’t wait to return, and I’m already dreaming of the day Mani opens a restaurant in Kensington so I can enjoy his cooking more often. If you’re in Windsor or planning a visit, do not miss this place—it’s a true treasure for food lovers and families alike!

What an amazing veggie restaurant. The menu offers a wide range of food , from coffee and cake, to breakfast and lunch options. I had the full English and it did not disappoint. The portion was massive, and very tasty. I definitely can’t wait to come back and eat here again. Only slight complaint if I had to think of one, was that the food took a little long to arrive. However from my view, it just means it was freshly cooked.

We are regulars in this wonderful establishment and this time, I organised a celebration for my husband's birthday with a group of friends. The lovely Mani reserved us a table and ensured that we had a sumptuous lunch with the best personal service - as ever! The food was sublime and the atmosphere was buzzing but yet still chilled. Thank you, Mani!

Perfect for lunch or a coffee and piece of cake. Mostly vegan with some dairy options and a great range of vegan cakes and pastries. A very wide menu for a small cafe. Run by lovely people who always make us welcome. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I want to give a heartfelt recommendation for 'Garden of Eden' Restaurant/coffee shop, located on the 1st floor of Daniel Department Store, Peascod St, Windsor. If you are plant-based, vegetarian or even if you're not, try this eatery - you will not be disappointed. We were struck by the lovely warm welcome from the wonderful and charming owner, Mani, who has been a head chef at various establishments. He is very happy to talk about any specific dietary requirements and also caters for gluten-free customers. If people prefer dairy cheese in their meals, then this is also happily catered for. The array of breakfasts, pastries, pizzas, wraps, sandwiches, snacks, desserts, hot and cold drinks is just amazing. We sat at a lovely table for 2 overlooking the bustle of Peascod Street. The restaurant itself is very pleasant and incorporates tables and chairs, easy chairs and sofas and there is even a play area for small children. We had the Full English breakfast, with a side of Macaroni Cheese and a gorgeous chai latte. We also tucked into some brownies and took some cheesecake for later. The food and drink were phenomenally tasty, beautifully presented with huge portions and clearly prepared with love. Mani showed us the spotless kitchen and the separate areas and cooking facilities to cater for any gluten-free customers. We can't wait to go back and try absolutely everything else on the menu and already know that it will be our favourite place to go!

Really nice gluten free and vegan food. We had the tomato soup which came with the best gluten free garlic bread I have ever been given in a restaurant. We also had the cheesecake which was nice and lemony and a deeply intense and chocolate gluten free vegan brownie. Good tea too! You can't go wrong with clipper tea!! Friendly and allergy aware staff. Would definitely recommend it for any coeliac!

Great selection of Gluten free food. It’s so difficult to get GF for all ages when you go out. Children and adults catered for with popular options. Separate play area for little ones or sit by the windows with views of the high street. It’s more spacious than the other two cafes and has a very relaxed atmosphere .

I have been to vegan restaurants all over the world and this place wowed me! The food was just beyond! Hearty, clean, authentic, and soo delicious!! Manny the owner made sure to provide superior service and even generously threw in a filling salad for us to share. I wish we lived in Windsor!!! We thought we would starve on our visit to windsor castle and this definitely made our day!!

This place is an amazing hidden gem! If you're looking for a cosy and homely atmosphere with a varied and delicious menu, you need to visit. We had the best dairy free mac n cheese I've ever had (a dairy option also available) and the cakes are incredible, especially the vegan options. There is even a small play area, perfect for toddlers/babies/young kids. Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely amazing!! As a vegan I really struggle to find menus that offer more than 2 options- but today…I struggled to decide on what I was to order- I decided on first ever full English- and it did not disappoint! I enjoyed it so much that we’re going back tomorrow! I also got a side of vegan Macaroni cheese and OH MY GOODNESS- words cannot even describe. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating- Manjinder in particular showed exceptional customer service. Sadly we live an hour away, but 100% will make a trip back to Windsor in the near future, purely to visit The Garden Of Eden. See you tomorrow!

A great little restaurant - great Coffee , you would not know their food was vegan! A must for all those Vegan or dietary intolerant people who get taken to restaurants that treat vegans and allergic / intolerant as irrelevant. Plenty of choice for a snack or meal. Open during shopping hours.

I had a little time before I was to meet a colleague and was browsing around Daniel's store when I came across a gem of a cafe. It's hard to find somewhere that serves us veggies, and the choice was quite amazing. I had a lovely oversized coffee and a sausage roll. only it wasn't a meat sauce, but it tasted like one. I do recommend this place to anyone.

I cannot rate Mani and the team at Garden of Eden highly enough. The food is absolutely incredible, and the service second to none. Mani is a fantastic chef - every bite was delicious. My husband rates the vegan macaroni cheese the best he's ever tasted (which is high praise indeed). We came for lunch and then breakfast the next day. The place to eat for veggies and vegans in Windsor.

What a find! 100% vegetarian! It isn't very well advertised, but I think it is fairly new. I was looking at the new layout of Daniel and saw a sign of a vegetarian cafe. I think they have the best corner of the store! Their menu is very good and hoping to go there again soon. Their service, food presentation and the quality of the meal is simply amazing. Absolutely love that they served my delicious, cheese, tomato and onion toastie on a wooden platter with tasty crisps. As a vegetarian getting a toastie from other chain cafes is a bit worrying as they can use the same toastie maker for the meat toasties too. Since this is a 100% vegetarian restaurant, I don't have to worry about that! Their vegan patisserie is next on my list to try for an afternoon coffee. They also have various vegan meal options. Highly recommend this lovely cafe to all vegetarians out there! :-)

Myself and my baby have been to this cafe many of times since it opened and honestly cannot fault it! We’ve introduced the cafe to many friends/family as the food is delicious as is the lovely customer service. You get so much for your money and there is so much options for GF and or vegans. There is a lovely aesthetically pleasing soft play for the kids and it is such a comfortable environment for mums, babies, families, friends or the elderly looking to relax with a cup of tea and cake! The drinks are also delicious (hot and cold - so much choices and all so so delicious and well presented) My son cries when we have to leave - haha! We are already looking forward to our next visit. THANK YOU

Stumbled across this hidden gem whilst in Daniels. We ordered coffee and cake but had been looking for a meal. They re opened the kitchen for us and made us all amazing wraps. They really do go above and beyond with customer service and really made our day. The food, cakes and coffee were all delicious and very reasonably priced. Wish we lived closer as we would definitely become regulars and couldn't recommend them more highly. Genuinely lovely people.

We discovered Garden of Eden by accident when wondering round Windsor for the day and what a find it was! The staff were so lovely and despite the fact the kitchen had closed, when they heard we wouldn’t be in the area again they reopened it for us and made us some of the best food I have ever tasted. Having gone in only expecting to get coffee and cakes it was delightful to be able to have a meal too! They were so attentive and they really made our day, even giving us some of their turmeric blend when we asked how they made their turmeric lattes. The staff at Garden of Eden really set the standard for customer service!

Been waiting to try this spot for ages after hearing about it! So great to have a spot in Windsor serving up banging vegan scran. Dad and I both had the vegan BLT, which was spot on - exactly what I needed after being on teams calls all morning! Mum had the lentil soup, which looked stunning and was dead tasty. Very friendly staff and good vibes all round, can't wait to visit next time I'm in town - thanks guys!

6 months on and I’m compelled to reiterate just how much this place is a no-brainer, destination stop for anyone who appreciates the very best food, served with the very best engagement, in an environment that is relaxed, friendly and welcoming. I’ve extolled the virtues of this cafe to every visitor that’s stayed with me since my first discovery of the culinary magic that is Kostas, Gino & Co. No pun, but I’ve risked serious egg on my face, such are my oft deployed superlatives ! Yesterday the Veggie Breakfast was added to the long list of offerings that just don’t disappoint. Cooked perfectly, it was the freshest doorstep toast that simply sealed the deal - ‘it costs a bit more, but it adds so much’ is Kostas’s philosophy. ‘Worth it !’ was our clear sentiment & endorsement. And the Greek yoghurt - extraordinaire - which I’d wanged on about, was apparently even better on the tastebuds than even I had given it credit for. I’ve since discovered that this yogurt is imported from Greece and maddeningly, cannot be bought retail ! The usual cafe suspects of the High Street have their place but nothing can better a proposition that has true heart. With Eaten cafe, there’s nothing fancy, nothing overtly commercial. Just authentic, home made cooking, created & served with love, passion and a commitment to we the Diners. Quality @ value, every which way !

Just visited for 1st time, on our bikes, as tried before in car but can't park anywhere nearby. Met the rudest man, who was cooking on the BBQ, who proceeded to shout at us, in front of many other customers and belittle us, whilst we tried to park our bikes in the bike rack, as directed by another helpful customer. Whichever way we attempted to park our bikes was wrong, for him! This resulted in us leaving after telling him how rude he was. I suggest he reads their own Code of Conduct! We won't be back. Community Pub of the Year? Warm Welcome? I don't think so!
