Clairmont Coffee in Windsor and Maidenhead

I have been sending my holiday let guests to Clairemonts all year and I just had to write a review - it doesn't matter where in the world my guests are from, they always thank me for sending them there. David and Tony always make them feel special - The coffee is EXCELLENT the food is YUMMY and the atmosphere is so good because it is locally owned and run. Thanks for making my guests experience so great.

Just stopped to get a quick coffee. Really good! They serve Illy coffee. That makes a huge difference in taste.

Ordered an Italian chicken panini with mozarella and sundried tomatoes but was given tandoori chicken which really didn't go with the other two ingredients. The florentine nearly broke my teeth. Good coffee and dog friendly, that's the best I can say

As a Windsor local of 26 years I can honestly tell you in a town full of coffee shops. This is the one. Friendly laughs, good coffee, freshly made food. Simply brilliant.

Fab coffee shop, if it was 200m closer to the castle, there'd be queues out of the door. Walk a bit and enjoy the quick service and great food.

Coffee was excellent, food however was undercooked, tasteless, and frankly not worth the price paid. When ordering a Italian chicken toasted Panini, the filling was cold and the cheese unmelted, to which the owner said it was due to it being "cold outside". He then offered to put the partially eaten panini back in the press, which is unsanitary to say the least, especially in these times of infection control. Although a refund was offered, which was appreciated, I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone eat here. Lovely place to stop for a coffee however.

Super, consistently good coffee but sandwich today was perfect 👌 Good job folks - we have stopped three times and always enjoyed coffee and a cake. Today we had been on our bikes for three hours before getting to Windsor so ordered a toasted sandwich. It was so good that I had to come home and offer up a review!

Love it all! The staff, the pastry and the old man always their with his 16 year old spaniel. Makes you feel like you are in a family and the coffee is by far the best Windsor can offer.

Our first visit after an early morning walk. Super little independent coffee shop/cafe with great fresh coffee, tasty pastries and great service. Lovely friendly atmosphere which puts it head and shoulders above the chain coffee shops. Great find!

Great Illi coffee. A family run coffee bar selling coffees and cakes. Dog friendly so expect a lot of dog walkers and friendly dogs. Coffee was truly excellent. Service friendly and prices competitive.

Excellent cappuccino and bacon sandwich (although would have preferred toasted), good service and location to watch the band in the sunshine, all good.

Stumbled across Clairmont after looking for a breakfast bite and coffee. Lured in by the small of freshly baked croissants Coffee was good and the food was nice and simple. Service was great, think it was the owner behind the counter.

This place is an absolute gem. The owner was very patient with my family, what insisted on changing their order numerous times. I had the brownie with raspberries and it was delicious. Others in the group had the Portuguese custard tart. I finished off my daughter's and it was sensational. Although small it was perfect for quick refreshment stop. When we visit again, we will be back!

This is a nice little cafe in Windsor. Good drinks. I think the menu is could do with some refreshing with offering more. Or maybe they do but they need to expand on their menu.

This place is probably the best coffee shop in Windsor. The staff are friendly and fun to talk to and the food, coffee and cake is spot on. I am a frequent vistor to Clairmonts when I am cycling around the Windsor area.
