Rio Deli in Windsor and Maidenhead

Staff went extra mile to help and provide great customer service 🙏 two grizzly babies meant we had to leave early, staff did all they could to help, pouring my coffee into a takeaway cup and my friends sandwich into a bag 💓made all the difference to tired mammas 🤗really good coffee and decent paninis as a bonus

Had baked potato for unch, good option, quality and value .

I went in with my family today, and we had a great experience. The man who served us was fantastic, we were well looked after. The food and customer service was great!

Great little café attached to the library but open 7 days a week - even when the library is closed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tasty food and great coffee.

Lovely place for a cup of coffee full of flavours and tasty bites. Good selection of sandwiches, wraps and other options. If you want to avoid the chain cafés that is your way.

Great little place for Coffee and food

Not very good quality bread/wraps. The tea is also cheap (pretty sure it’s Tetley’s) – not good enough for £2.65. The table was also dirty and wasn’t cleaned before or while we ate there. I asked for a bowl for the dog and was told it’s usually outside and was left to find it; I couldn’t find it in the end. Lastly, I saw the staff hoovering the shelves around the pre-made paninis, wraps and pastries. They were touching all the food with the end of the hoover attachment, which is unsanitary. On the plus side, the staff were friendly.

It’s an amazing, beautiful and peaceful place to go and take a time for yourself or going out with friends. Food is 100% amazing and as a Brazilian I felt at home listening to the staff speaking my home language. The staff is really kind and caring. Definitely a 5 stars!

Lovely atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. Plenty of space to eat in or on the outside picnic tables when the weather is good. Will definitely come again next time I'm in the area.

I have got a meditarianin wrap, it was tasty 😋 Matcha latte was good bad, too sweet. But the ambience is nice, I like the colours and unique painted chairs. Also, stuff is very kind, cheerful and helpful.

The chaps that work here are great. They know how to make each customer feel special, when you're having a bad day if you come here you'll feel amazing after. The food and beverages are as you would expect, very nice. But the service makes this place shine bright.

I've been to the Rio Deli a couple of times. The staff are friendly and helpful, the coffee is very good and the food quite tasty. They had benches set outside, so I could have my brunch in the open air.

My sister and I pop in for the first time, the owner was very friendly and welcoming. We had apple and cherry crumble with ice cream absolutely delicious! Definitely will be returning ☺️

One of the best little cafes in Maidenhead. A wonderful selection of paninis, baked potatoes, pastries, sandwiches for all tastes, and much more.... You are looked after by the wonderful Leo and his star Italian team! On a nice day, you can sit outside and enjoy pleasant surroundings.

Really lovely unexpected find, we were looking for something to eat and spotted this deli, attached to the library. Service and food were excellent, staff were so lovely Tried to visit again, but was unable to park near and it was raining very heavily. Would definitely visit again, when next in the area

Food was cold and bread & croissant both stale. Why would you even send that out thinking no one would complain.

The food from here is amazing, we have ordered lunch from here a few time and it has been consistently delicious. The hot wraps are my favourite. We wouldn’t get the brownies again but everything else seems to be perfect, we will be back again soon!

I had an impromptu warm wrap and coffee late in the day just as the last bits of sun went down behind the Town Hall. God it was good! Well worth the money - absolutely delicious!. I should have taken a picture too, but I ate it too fast!. The lovely guys working there were really friendly and welcoming. You could see that they were proud of their place and the food and drink they were serving. Have now spread the word to everyone I talk to about how nice it is. Relaxing music too.

Food had been thrown together. Wraps were burnt. Nothing was labelled. Very expensive for what it is.

I’ve given this place 1 star because the frappe / iced tea was ok but that really is it. I got this food delivered about 2 minutes ago, had one bite of the wrap and baguette and it’s honestly awful. I feel terrible writing this, I don’t think I’ve ever written a bad review but I hope it’s something they take away and learn from. Completely inedible. So soggy. I hope I can get my money back as I’ll be ordering from somewhere else to get my lunch.

I have been here twice for coffee in mid to late afternoons and both times I have been made to feel very welcome. By the owner on the first visit and most recently by the manager on the afternoon of 1st June 2021. This is the best independent cafe I have been in for ages and deserves to be a success.

Great iced coffee and the gentleman that served me today was so friendly and Bubbley I couldn't help but smile.

Called today after a long break. What a friendly welcome. Had an excellent coffee and a wrap served outside. This really is a superb place to eat and drink. A very varied menu of cakes, wraps etc. An unusual and very pleasant environment.

When I wrote my previous review forgot to mention how lovely the young Chap was that served us (had black curly hair) he is so friendly, happy and great with customers. Refreshing to find someone like that.

I ordered a brownie with peanut butter that came to me very very hard, COMPLETELY dry and with a horrible taste. I ordered these brownies before and sometimes they came a little dry, but never like today and never tasting wrong. I don't know how long they've had the brownie in the store, but the quality was very poor.

This is the best coffee in town. The staff are lovely, friendly and are always polite. The food is lovely. Give it a try you will be surprised.

This is, at the time of writing, a fairly new independent establishment and I have to say I’m really surprised at how professional and friendly the staff are and the coffee is extremely good. I usually have a latte with froth and it is always perfect. Shame we can’t sit down to enjoy the food and coffee but still well worth the trip into town. The brownie was delicious, moist and very fresh. The wrap was generously filled with lots of fresh salad and the baked potato, cheese and beans came with salad which made it a hearty meal. I shall be visiting again and would definitely recommend to friends. Vegan, vegetarian options were available which makes a change!!

Have ordered a few times from here via Uber eats. Coffee hot, bacon bap very generous and croissant very fresh. I used to order from a different coffee shop but this is my new favourite place. Keep up the good work.

I've ordered from here quite a few times and the food is always great and the same standard. I especially love the vanilla frappe as I can't get one anywhere else, and they make sure to tape it tightly so it doesn't spill. Good value for money too.

Food was delicious and hot will definitely order from here again.

The baked potato with beans and cheese was amazing the Oreo and cookie milkshake was tasty and so was the smarties brownie I would definitely order here again

This place is still fairly new I think - it’s well worth a visit. There are picnic tables outside, they do great paninis and coffee and other stuff I’ve yet to try. It’s close to the redeveloped part of Maidenhead - it’s a more quiet spot as it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the main shops (but only a few minutes walk). Recommended.

We ordered three milkshakes and they were delicious.

Really lovely selection of excellent quality food. All items ordered arrived (which doesn’t always happen with other vendors). Highly recommend, for take out, or to eat in - the staff are lovely

Missed half the ingredients in the tuna panini. Flavourless. Very dry and not enjoyable. If they run out of ingredients they shouldn't offer the food!!

Third time here now. Friendly staff. Polite, attentive and helpful. Last time it was a hot day and they even brought water out for my dog without asking, very thoughtful. Had a meatball panini and coffee today. Delicious. Highly recommend.

Food was good but the order was meant to be for breakfast but it arrived very late and near lunch time. I asked the restaurant to remove spinach from my sandwich but they ignored it.
