Reasonably priced food, tasty and the kids had a lovely time after a day at Peppa Pig World. Our waitress Sharon was lovely.....

We popped in for a late breakfast and just a family meal, we had Sarah looking after us who was super attentive, very friendly and accommodating with our little baby to make room for him. Very kind and great customer service!

Food was excellent and Sarah was a great waitress. Very good value for money. Had 2 courses on lunch menu plus the salad bar.

Sarah looked after us well. Food and drink were great value for money. Enjoyed the salad bar as usual, recommend the waffles for pudding.

Real disappointment, food dry, salad old. Wasn’t given any of the lunch menus, no cutlery on table had to go find someone and ask not only once but twice! Salad bar was not restocked! Just couldn’t wait to leave!

Lovely food, excellent service from all the staff working. The food was delivered quickly and was hot and fresh, the salad bar looked good and was tasty too.

Food at the usual high standard and excellent service by the very attentive Lyn Light. She has served us on numerous occasions over the last 3-4 years and helps to make each visit welcoming and enjoyable.

Masses of 4hr free parking directly outside. Large spacious venue. Booking essential and convenient. Seated quickly and orders taken. Big pile of toast and jams as part of meal arrives without asking. Drinks cold and hot supplied promptly. Selections delivered in good time by attentive Lyn. Delicious bacon. All plates cleaned and tummies full. Thankyou all for a memorable start to my birthday.

The food was really delicious and well presented, it came out quickly and was served with a smile as well. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful, while being attentive as well. Felt safe dining here with all the extra precautions being taken in the restaurant.

I'm always really impressed with the service here and the staff's brilliant attitudes and friendliness! Always so welcoming and efficient. We planned to visit here today to get some breakfast, and, being Covid aware, we checked the website to see if booking was mandatory. The website directed us to their Facebook page. No booking required. We turned up and scanned in, then waited a short while for a member of staff. The staff member asked if we had a booking, I said no, I didn’t think one was required. He said ordinarily it is not, but they are only serving pre-booked customers today due to staff absences, and we were turned away. I understand their predicament, but am frustrated that there was no sign on the door explaining or an update on their facebook page. I value service above all other things, and feel their service today was poor.

We went to the Harvester this morning for breakfast as for an extra £1 you get coffee refills which were appreciated. I had a Traditional English but everything on the plate was a different temperature. The mushrooms were stone cold and the home fries burned my mouth. Luke warm eggs are never good. My husband had Eggs Benedict but the bacon was so under-cooked he had to dissect the meal to get the uncooked fat off the bacon. I must say that the bacon was good quality though. Nice and thick. Toast was strangely only toasted on one side. I think we will find somewhere else for next time. Service was friendly and excellent as always.

Unlimited salad bar always a winner, they will go with you to the counter and serve it to you to comply with Covid rules.Extensive menu and plenty on offer for all appetites.Service was fast and friendly.Ribs and chicken tasty and generous portions.

Came in September when COVID restrictions were still in place. The salad bar was served to us by a member of staff and the portions were good - nearly as much as I’d give myself! The mains came out really quickly and were as tasty as always and our waiter - Matt was fantastic, very attentive. We all ordered the refill Pepsi’s and Matt made sure our glasses were never empty which isn’t always the case when you can’t refill your own but we were looked after really well and informed of all current discounts too. Always love a Harvester and made even better by a great waiter this evening.

Saving grace for our family evening was the impressive service by our waitress Lyn Light. Patient, friendly and timely. She made up for what was a rather expensive low end quality meal. Salad was not very fresh at all and there was no tome to eat what we were given before the mains came out, so as we were finishing our salads, the Mains were losing temperature. Brisket of Beef was extremely fatty and the sauce it was served in was very oiley.Mash potato that came with my salmon was powdered and tasted pretty poor. Waitress swapped it for me but the second batch was just as bad! Chicken based mains were ok - nothing to shout about. All in all - too expensive for what it is - has started to become low end mass produced food rather than good quality home cooked style food!!

Bethany was so welcoming and friendly. She was the best thing about the visit. The experience was great given the COVID challenges.

Safe to say I will be returning after a delightful meal out. Dom explained the new Covid rules in the restaurant and we felt at ease straight away. Food delicious and staff very attentive

Visit this Harvester normally once a month. Covid-19 has produced a few changes with seating capacity reduced slightly, increased cleaning rates and a reduced salad cart selection (to allow the waiting staff to collect your choice). Our waitress, Lyn, was superb, definitely understood the social distancing and extra hygiene requirements, but at the same time was still friendly and attentive. The food was reasonable and our main meals hot, would have liked more salad choice but understood the reasons. All in all an enjoyable visit and did feel safe eating out again thanks to the waitress.

Awful dont go, disgusting and dirty.Tables and floor were so sticky you couldn't move. Chairs were so dirty. Food wasn't a good stardard. Hygiene levels for the current climate arnt good didn't feel save at all.

I was very disappointed to see no protection for the staff. They had no visits, gloves or any form of shielding anywhere. The tables and floors were very sticky so I want to assume it was the antibacterial solutions being used. They had carefully thought out the self service salad bar and drinks (the staff collected your choice for you). The food was nice and hot and the service was very friendly (possibly a little slow but that was due to the additional work required).

Popped in for a bite to eat, service was really friendly and helpful, explained the new process for salad bar and refills. Well cooked food and felt safe with hand sanitiser around the place.

I have never been to a Harvester before and was very impressed with everything. The staff were very friendly and courteous, the choice and price of the food was very good. The meal was piping hot and well presented. I would have no hesitation of going again!

Booked a table for 7 arrived at 6-45 and was sat straight down. Server was friendly and helpful. Food came quickly after order and was very nice.

Went for a last minute family meal on Saturday. We reserved a table 20 minutes before turning up. We’re seen to the table and our waiter Lee came over to introduce himself. He was lovely funny and had a good amount of banter. The service we received from him was the best we have received ever in the harvester. We had to make a few amendments to certain meals but Lee went out of his way to sort this out! He engaged with the kids on the table like they were the little adults ordering. Recent visit here felt like seating during quiet times could be somewhat re jiggled. Sitting facing the kitchen while watching the chefs angrily press the bill asking for service, watching your food slowly getting colder as servers are nowhere to be seen. Going to say about 5-10 minute wait at the door before anyone came over but no where to be seen in the restaurant. Maybe a little time and effort put into these shifts could benefit the customer service. Food superb and salad bar great.

Went to harvester for some food and a quick catch up. Was served by Lee and he was fantastic, really engaging and lovely. Thanks for the great service lee.

Enjoyed a breakfast of pancakes, bacon and maple syrup. Also fruit juice and other fresh produce off their breakfast bar. The one thing that was really disappointing was the coffee. We ordered latte but it was not very hot and very weak. After asking for it to be warmed, the waitress explained that it is not freshly made but comes from a machine. Disappointing. Service was good and price reasonable.

Decided to pop into whitely shopping centre after visit to Chichester. Popped into harvester as visited harvester in other places before. Our waiter Lee was very knowledgable about the food, friendly and made his visitors welcomed. Stopped to have a chat which I be,eve makes a good waiter, even though he had a few tables to deal with he made you feel happy to be there. If we visit Whitely again would definitely visit harvester. I would also recommend it to anyone wanting food whilst shopping

Came here on the 15-12-2019 for 9am for the breakfast with santa, was greeted by santa when we first walked in which was good for the children. Got seated quickly, friendly staff upon arrival & explained the process quite easily. Santa popped around the table for approx 5 minutes to speak to the children about what they want for Xmas etc & recieved a gift each. Breakfast was ordered which came out quite quickly to be honest, it was nice to eat although some of the food on the plate was on the warm side... Once I had breakfast I went upto the continental bar to make some toast & cereals, the cooks were making breakfast & the staff were collecting the breakfast's to take to the tables. There were loads of breakfast's on the hot plate but probably stood there for a good few minutes before going out which is why some of the food was on the warm side. That aside it was a great visit so would go again in the near future sometime. Shout out to santa & his assistant rachael who served us today

Will never be returning! Left sitting for over 15mins with NO service!!!!Countless staff walked past us but not 1 asked for even a drinks order let alone a food order!!!! If the restaurant (if you can call it that) was busy then you could kind of understand, however it was not. Disgusted, we walked out and went to Frankie and Bennys where we had an amazing meal and service

We had booked at 9 for breakfast as a birthday treat. Clearly the manager didn’t look for the booking. We sat waiting for 15 mins and no one came over to serve. New people arrived and they were served. When we said we were going to one of the waiting staff they said good for you.

We arrived at this Harvester to be seated promptly by the host. He told us someone would be with us shortly, 15 minutes later we had not even been offered drinks or spoke to a waiter/waitress. We had several staff members walk past us without checking if we were okay. The worst part was, it wasn’t particularly busy either so there was no Legitimate reason for us to wait.

We popped in after work for a quick tea. Both had the 3 tapas dishes. All were excellent, hot and tasty - but too much! Portions are generous. Add a Pepsi refill and it’s still cheap as chips!

Popped in to try out the festive menu. Great choice and good value for money. Enjoyed the prawn cocktail starter and Turkey main meal. Tasty roast with plenty of potatoes, vegetables and trimmings. Had to ask for more gravy but this was brought out immediately. Staff attentive and offered us where we wanted to sit instead of just sitting us somewhere which was good. Would recommend and return.

This was our first visit to this harvester staff were nice and friendly place was clean, we went for the all in breakfast and we were pretty disappointed the cooked was fine but the continual side ie fruits yogurts ect were non existent so it wasn’t actually worth the money we probably would eat here again for this reason.

It was a quiet early evening when my girlfriend and I entered the restaurant. I observed staff chatting amongst themselves by the bar and near some of the many empty tables. I made sure I made eye contact with staff and smiled politely to attract attention. Some time elapsed before we were appraoched.We were reluctantly shown to a corner table. I checked online as I wondered if the place was about to shut. I enquired about the parking in the main car park. It was not a difficult question if you work in establishment with a car park. The staff member was unhelpful to say the least. We sat waiting at the table watching staff stood round chatting . After 20 mins of trying to get attention of staff and getting no service. I approached two members of staff with their arms folded having a good old chat and informed them we were leaving because nobody was serving us and life was too short. They didnt care. My girlfriend who is originally from Nigeria thought there might be an alternative reason why we were being ignored.

Great reception from Lee, made two picky eaters feel like nothing was too much trouble. Great value, with an extensive choice.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal... new to harvester app which Chloe kindly helped us with. She was brilliant and really helpful.

My pal and I knew we didn't want a huge amount to eat so we decided on a starter each accompanied by yummy chips (sweet potato and triple fried) plus a individual bowl of unlimited salad each. We had attentive service and were escorted to a table of our choice by a very polite young man.

Is my first time for Harvester breakfast as I am not a breakfast person. So decided to go in with my partner. The food was lovely and service was excellent. Thank to Lek and her team for such a great breakfast experience. We went on Thursday 31/10

Last week, my wife and I went to see family. We left early and didn't want to impose breakfast on them. We came across Whiteley shopping complex and saw the Harvester.

Had a meal here on Sunday and was served by Cris who went out of this way to make sure that we had the best service. Food was really nice just a shame I didn't have room for pudding as they looked amazing.

Visited with the family. Lee served us and was lovely and very helpful. Food came promptly and was all correct and hot. We were asked if we wanted small, medium or large fries, we all thought this meant the size of the chips themselves and ordered medium and we were all charged £1 extra per portion as it was the size of the portion which we found a little odd.

I went to Harvester for breakfast this morning with my girlfriend and Lee was a star! He answered all questions that we may have had without hesitation and kept us entertained the whole time we were there! Thanks a lot, Hannah and Gareth

This harvester is fantastic, all the staff are so friendly, welcoming and efficient especially the manager Dominic. The food was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning, thank you for a brilliant visit!

Visited on my own, was served quickly and made use of the free refills whilst waiting for my food. Food was really tasty and well presented. Will be back 🙂

It was my suggestion to meet here and I must confess to being a little disappointed. The salad choice was excellent as usual, and my mouth positively watered at the menu, but I sadly made the wrong choice. I went for the true blue burger. The chips and coleslaw were good, as was the red onion chutney. The bacon was burned, the cheese was not melted, rather a cold congealed mass sat in the middle of the burger and the burger was over done. My friends food was good, the scampi and the Piri piri tofu. My disappointment was tempered slightly by the fudge cake which was nice, friends had lemon sponge (delicious) and chocolate orange cake nice (but sickly). Service was pleasant. Good job the company was excellent. All this said, it hasn’t put me off, but will make me more picky in future.

We ordered 4 sides and a kilo of ribs to all come to the table at the same time as a sharing type platter. We were seated right next to the pass and saw the starters under the lights for about 15 minutes before the ribs were ready and all brought to the table.

We ate here at lunchtime during the week. Lovely and quiet. Ordered the lunchtime 2 course special. I had the garlic mushrooms followed by burger. Hubbie has loaded potato skins and the scampi. Salad was lovely but the meals were boring and tasteless. Didn’t like the bun for the burger. Left some food. Both said afterwards that it was a waste of calories!

Rude and unhelpful asst manager (Ian) from the moment we walk in the restaurant, the meet and greet was poor, asked for a table and his reply was 45mins to 1hr wait, I did see a few empty tables but he replied they have been booked. He didn't even ask if we like to sit at the bar, so we walk out of the restaurant in shock they way the manager had treated us, so I looked on the Harvester APP and I managed to book a table via the app and it work out that we would only wait for 30mins, well all I can say is that his face was priceless when we return and come face to face......sorry Ian work on your people skills and smile when you meet and greet customers.

I took my wife out to this Harvester for our wedding anniversary and was hoping for a different experience than we usually receive at a harvester.

Good food... but the experience was made all the better by Lee, who served us, advised us and made us smile through-out!! Top man...

The food is okay service leaves room for much improvement we have been a few times and it totally depends sometimes you wait a long time for your food other times you’ve barely sat down and it’s there. We have had to send food back before but have managed to have it sorted.. Not the worst but also not the best Harvester! Salad bar and unlimited drinks are great value.

Booked table, service desk unmanned had to wait for a manager. Shown to a table, waiter very attentive and polite, food came fast, ribs were very nice, burgers looked ok, Self service salad cart needed filling, bread rolls were so small and hard, Enjoyed what I had we will revisit as it’s close by,

Waited 5 minutes to be greeted at the door, then had to wait for a table, wasn't busy, it was about 7.45 on a Tuesday evening. 10 min wait to place drinks order. Salad bar was destroyed, food was average, service, especially speed and recognition very poor.

Not normally a lover of this type of restaurant but this particular Harvester makes a difference, staff are lovely and food was great!

Family food, as long as you like meat and chips. Loved the kids menu choices as able to choose type of veg and carbs although portions too small for our hungry 10 year old. Excellent salad bar, fresh and varied. Lovely service from all staff made this a very pleasant evening.

Really helpful staff at Staunton Arms. Lovely food, salad bar is a must and the bread rolls mmmmmm. Plenty of parking. Reasonable prices too.

If you take a Premier Inn breakfast and do it really badly, this really adequately describes today’s experience. Cereal but no milk or spoons, bread and crumpets but no plates. The main breakfast when it arrived was ok. The team seemed to lack any focus on service and placing our order took 15 plus minutes and took multiple attempts to get someone’s attention however the gentleman who served us was apologetic. This format didn’t work well here and considering it’s part of the same group, going to a premier inn would have been better both in set up and value for money. Would not rush to ever return.

We made a reservation, turned up on time, still had to wait for the manager (called Jo, I asked) to wander down to restaurant to greet us. She looked like she had just got back from walking her dogs, shabby and flustered, not impressed. So much for leading by example, fortunately staff have better standards than the manager here, and they understand what customer care and hygiene are too.

We went to the harvester restaurant in Whitley today but wish we didn't. on arrival we were shown to the table by the assistant manager and we ordered 2 x nachos as a starter but asked for one with no jalpalinos as my wife does not like the peppers. also as a main we ordered a camembert tart and "The 83 combo".

Got there with a Groupon, when someone arrived to escort us to a table she was not only grumpy but also didn't initially think the Groupon would work on a Sunday until I showed her on the voucher it did. Service was quite slow, it was only 3/4 full so wasn't like it was heaving in the place.

It does what is says on the..... y'know. A tasty breakfast with plenty of choices, plenty of room to eat it; and no hassle from anyone. The 'child option' was tweeked as requested; which was helpful ~ and thoroughly enjoyed And the grown-ups... Our food was prepared & served promptly. Nice coffee too.

Service was slow and food was terrible. Went with wife and two children. Cutlery was dirty, table wasn’t clean. Steak was tiny and mostly fat, meat quality was poor. Wife asked for plain chunky chips and chicken breast, didn’t get breast and got sage and onion chips. I had mixed grill, hair on chicken, egg shell in the egg, portion size for the money was terrible. Childrens meals were disgusting. My daughter had steak but was to chewy for her. Sons burger was vile. I definitely wouldn’t go back of recommend to anyone.

Great night at harvester, the Manager was great and had the restaurant running very well, great for a busy Friday!! The staff are great, the steak was cooked perfect and was loverly, please escalate our thanks to the team!!

I have been to a number of Harvester restaurants and always felt safe. Although the food was the normal Harvester quality, There was a problem with the cleanliness of the flooring. I had just had a knee operation and walked with crutches I was concerned about the somewhat slippery condition of the flooring. Even my wife felt it was either greasy or polished that made it slippery. Maybe it was that I walked with Crutches made me feel unsafe. I did mention it to the waitress but unfortunately she just looked at me as though as it was nothing. As I say the food was of reasonable quality, but regrettably the staff didn't take notice of my concern regarding the safety issue I bought to their notice. I will not return to this Harvester

Visited for lunch on Saturday. All the staff were very attentive and friendly from the moment we walked in, especially Lee. Food was great, love that you can now choose a portion size for your chips. Free parking right outside and level entrance.

Visited for breakfast on Sunday morning and was left hungry and disappointed. We were shown to a booth which was duct taped to within an inch of its life. The restaurant was not busy in the slightest but still waited too long to order. When my classic breakfast arrived it was cold but did not get the chance to complain as we were soon forgotten by the waiter. Luckily my breakfast was taken off the bill. Will not be returning. Standards have slipped drastically and lots of cut corners.

My family and I went for a birthday meal and were pleasantly surprised by the light airy feel of the restaurant after having visited some harvester restaurants that were dark and somewhat outdated. This restaurant had a lovely relaxed atmosphere right down to the music and the food was fantastic. We had a small hiccup with one of our meals but this was quickly rectified by an extremely helpful member of staff named Lee. Staff were more than friendly! :)

I visited Harvester this week with a friend. The food was excellent and the pricing was very reasonable, particularly as Harvester currently give a discount to Cineworld Unlimited cardholders. The salad bar and refillable drinks are always a plus, adding additional value for money.

We usually go to port Solent harvester, the service there is eclxcellent! We were shopijg in whiteley so visited here for the first time, what a miserable bunch of employees!!!! We were sat at our table but no drinks order taken, even after 15 minutes, so I got up and asked someone who came over to take our drinks order and said she would be back with glasses for our refil but we waited and waited and after another 10 mins I went and asked someone else! Food was OK except for my 'kickin peas' I could of used them for a football I suppose, see photo! One waitress appeared to be rowing with front of house and the rest just all seemed so fed up!

We went in here for a meal while working around the corner. Nice clean place with friendly staff. We was seated straight away. We ordered some drinks and a meal and didn't have to wait to long for it.

A last minute "lunch date" meant that we were searching for somewhere to go whilst shopping in Whiteley. I would recommend the highly Harvester. The service was brilliant, the staff were really attentive and patient. They have even made enhancements to their menu options considerably and they now offer two (Not just one, but two) vegan burgers and chips - I went for the purist burger which is more like a "beef" burger as opposed to a veggie/bean burger. I have to say it is one of the nicest vegan burgers that I have eaten! We will definitely be going back..

Lee and his team are incredibly accommodating. I have an autistic son who Lee could not do enough for, his staff are also trained to deal with meltdowns ect, super special needs friendly and would highly recommend! Thankyou Lee

We’ve eaten at this Harvester a few times. Always receive a friendly welcome from Lee and his team. First time we just had some drinks but now dine there regularly.

There are not many Harvesters around my area now so looking for somewhere to eat on a day out searched their app and headed for this one. Food was good, service was friendly and efficient, value for money reasonable. Atmosphere zero. Don't expect the normal fake 'olde world' country pub look, this is a restaurant unit in a shopping centre and lacked any charm or atmosphere, it felt more like an airport restaurant. Certainly not a harvester for an evening out. Couldn't decide on how many stars to give it, it was better than average but was 'good' not 'very good' but I decided to settled for the higher mark.

Popped in really early for 3 breakfasts before shopping. Seated quickly and order taken. Told all about inclusive bar, cerials, toast, fruit, muffins etc. No mention of free coffee or tea. Ordered drinks from menu meaning latte was cold whereas refill cup of free perculated was piping hot.

We went here with our friends (table of 7) for a Sunday breakfast. The service was very slow, the coffee and hot water pots (help yourself) seemed to be in constant need of topping up. The food was disgusting.

Popped into Harvester for a spot of lunch, served by Alice, lovely girl, and great service, would visit again!

Our server Lee, aka flipper, was polife, funny and smiley. He clearly loves his job and it shows! One of Harvesters best! All needs met with a joke and a smile. The world would be a much better place if there were more people like Lee.

Our home education group had a fantastic visit to the Harvester Whiteley today. The trip was arranged by staff member Jo Money, and we were looked after by Lee (Flipper). We were also looked after by another lovely female staff member whose name I didn't get (sorry!). Can't speak highly enough of this restaurant. We all learnt so much from Lee about the Harvester, the food, menus, and especially food allergies and how these are addressed safely.The children each had a tour (and plate from) the salad cart, squash, and activities too. Lee was excellent with all the children, including those with additional needs. We will be returning as a family as the Harvester now had dedicated Vegan and Vegetarian menus. THANK YOU!! xx

Would definitely recommend a visit here! The food was great and the service was even better! Our server’s name was Alice and she made sure that we had everything we need, nothing was too much trouble! She recommended the vegan burger and it was delicious!

Went to Harvester Whitely after the cinema today and was made to feel very welcome by Lee, our waiter. Salad bar as always was well stocked. Our meal arrived very shortly after and was delicious and filling. When asked if we would like dessert, we could'nt manage a full dessert, was offered the light dessert and coffee, which was satisfying and a great end to a great meal. Price was good too.
