We stopped at Caffè Nero and had a pot of tea 🫖 coffee ☕️ and cake 🍰 we was served by Sam who very considerate and helpful 👍 definitely a credit to Caffè Nero and enhanced our experience BIG THANKS 😎

During the day it gets very busy and sometimes difficult to find a place to sit, especially weekends and bank holidays, however later in the afternoon it gets calmer and a great place to chill. It is our favorite coffee house in town and the vibe is quite nice. They should put more comfortable sofas to sit. Some of their chairs are not so comfortable for your bum bum! By the way, very good Italian coffee, the real deal. Don't waste your money on Costa, Starbucks or pret. It is just colored coffee water what they offer with plenty if sugar. But you do have sugar at home, right?

they have unisex toilets. Me and kids walked in to find a man using a stall with door unlocked. Not knowing he was in there initially, I opened the door and to our surprise he was in full pissing mode! Scared the hell out of us. Left and went back in after a while. another man was leaving, leaving toilet seat up, piss in the toilet and on floor. Please consider bringing back female toilets. Won’t be returning.

Good range of savoury and sweet treats. Even a sourdough toastie for my gluten intolerant husband. Unfortunately, the gluten-free sandwich looked horrible. Friendly staff.

I recently visited the Café Nero at Ashford Designer Outlet Centre and had a pleasant experience. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Great for mothers & babies, a young mum was given a jug of hot water to heat up her babies bottle. An elderly ladies tray was carrier for her to her table. Whoever is recruiting & training the staff here is doing a terrific job. Plus everyone looks cheerful. The coffee & cakes aren’t bad either although I do like my croissants a touch crispier!

I have been going there regularly for at least a year. It is very near to the main entrance to the McArthurGlen discount centre. It can get very busy at times so I would say it is not very suitable for groups of more than four, they have a seating area with more seats outside Most of the tables inside are for two. There are usually up to six staff. They are all pleasant. It is better than the other one in Ashford and better than the two in Canterbury IMO. The staff do their jobs efficiently and are always polite. The lavatories and hand washing facilities are clean and modern. The food is cheaper than Starbucks. They have larger portions and the food looks healthy. I can't understand the bad reviews. It has never been like that for me. You can take your dog in

Took my daughter on a coffee date which we love to do as a treat, we was greeted soo warmly by matt, so knowledgeable and super warm and friendly, made our special treat that little bit more magical, soo I cannot recommend matt and the venue any more, Thank you matt, the world need more people like you !!

Avoid this place - staff member Matt was very rude and aggressive merely because I interrupted his important cleaning by politely asking him to serve me and 2 other customers who were waiting patiently (Saturday 1st June 2024 around 7pm)

Disgusting customer service and staff rude , this afternoon with my 2 boys, one who gets stuck in toilet with faulty door , the other was shouted at when he came to pick me up carrying a non café Nero bakery back . As I was finishing my last sip of tea , another member of staff comes and humiliate me in publicly shouting loudly , asking me to leave . After I spent almost 20 pounds in the shop What more to want after leaving with traumatising experience

I’ve had a nice time here with my family on Sunday afternoon. The staff working there are amazing especially Michael who served us. Very professional and helpful with any questions we had. Loved the coffee as well as the cake. Next time I’m in the area I will be visiting again.

Was out late with friends and popped in just a few minutes before closing and the barista Sam was supper helpful and fast with the drink. This is all despite me popping in at the last minute he was supper professional and offered excellent service.

Nice and clean but I was very disappointed with the half a cup of coffee I received as it was mostly froth. I expect some froth but not half a cup. Will not be going here again as not the first time this has happened. Surely a big brand like this one will create a descent cup and a full cup of coffee

Rarely do they sanitise the tables. If they shrink the pastries any more there won’t be anything left. Prices increase every week l. Nearly 4 quid for a coffee.

Same old coffee place. In the shopping centre but very busy at all times long queue at the counter and no tables when we got there. Had to wait to sit down. Would go back again but at a different time perhaps

Friendly and quick service. Whilst there aren't many coffee options on site at the Outlet, I'd rate this store the highest.

It was pleasant enough to stop for a festive hot chocolate between shops. But I felt as though the staff were more keen on having their conversation rather than serve me at first.

Great little coffee shop to pop into while shopping. Food is lovely but the place gets really busy and at times no sitting space inside. The dishwasher also seems to be broken often and take away paper cups are used which really affects the service and atmosphere.

Lovely coffee ☕ but dirty toilets let it down.

It was very busy this Saturday afternoon and took a little while to be served. The barista took our order seriously and made no mistake with the order despite some out of the ordinary requests. Unfortunately, he didn't mix our chai latte powder thoroughly and left hardened dry mix at the bottom of the drink. The atmosphere was good though and we even found some seats despite the busyness.

Lovely food especially the cakes and really excellent friendly efficient service . Thank you will visit again .

Not great value but had a clean table and good counter service from the plentiful staff especially the young lad with the hair bun who was very thoughtful.

My mum was taken very ill in the shop. The manager Sarah and the team were so nice. They really helped her, organising medical assistance and been generally very nice. Thank you so much.

Much needed cafe at outlet. Usual cafe nero stuff. Somehow I didn't like the coffee(cappuccino) here. Best thing Nero does is keeping drinking water, thanks for that

Just poked in when I visited Ashford Outlet yesterday!! I first visited Cafe Nero in Newton, Boston and 2nd at Heathrow, London. This is my third visit in Ashford. I love the atmosphere and the colour of the cafe.. It is pleasantly calm and relaxing. Coffee is strong and butter croissant is supersoft!!

I am a fan of their coffee, but the cakes won me over this time.

Haven't been to a Caffè nero in ages. Was worth the wait with a flat white and an iced amaretto. Best thing about this shop is the very comfy seating and great selection of books up on the shelves. And good to see the staff keeping the place clean and tidy!

Glad to see they're back to using China again. This coffee shop is nice and comfortable but can get very busy, especially when the outlet is properly open. Great staff.

Only went in for a coffee. But you know what to expect with Caffe Nero. Personally prefer their coffee to their competitors but the staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. The drinks were made in a reasonable amount of time and of a good quality. Cannot complain as there is plenty of seating on the inside with hot and cold options for food and drink, as well as sweet and savoury.

Best hot chocolate. A very popular spot. Great service, thank you.

You simply cannot beat a coffee in Caffè Nero. It always taste delicious compared to other coffee shops and the staff always seem happy to serve and nothing seems a problem. The fact that it was in Ashford too was a bonus as it was the first time I'd visited Ashford shopping village but Nero was the first place I visited.

I love cafe Nero coffee, however this store disappointed me, received half filled cup of regular coffee. Never go here again.

The mystery of the broken dishwasher strikes again. It occurs to me that this is more of a problem when it is nearly home time for the staff… the excuses include: engineers not coming, it’s too hot in the kitchen, it’s Friday….. or a day ending in a y. If they can’t give proper plates and cups stop charging us so much to sit in a dirty cafe.

Very good selection of drinks and cakes. Sometimes we have a hot drink and other times we have a cold drink.

I usually love Cafe Nero and it never usually fails to disappoint. This store, however, proved me wrong. The barista was extremely rude and unfriendly and gave off the impression that customers were a mere inconvenience to her day. I get that times are tough currently with staff shortages etc but there was simply no excuse for such a poor level of service. I observed the barista interact with a number of customers whilst waiting to order and was shocked by how unfriendly she and rude she was. For example, she’d start huffing and puffing, scowling, banging items and utensils around on the counter in a passive aggressive way. When it came to my turn to order, I asked if I could have my drink served in a china cup and opposed to a cardboard one as there were an abundance of clean china cups on the counter. Her response was ‘no!’. Not even an explanation as to why. I think the coffee chain really need to look into this, paying in excess of £3.90 for a drink in a cardboard cup is outrageous and drinking out of a cardboard takeaway cup takes away the cafe experience and not only that, creates unnecessary waste. I would have easily have spent around £14 on drinks for myself and family, but in the end I just left without getting the drinks as I wasn’t prepared to be treated like an inconvenience from someone working in the service industry and pay through the roof to drink from a takeaway cup when there were plenty available.

Went into the store on a Sunday morning and was accused by the manager of having a fake loyalty card! flaming cheek, she was so rude all she had to do was add two stamps. Great, news Caffe Nero, I won't be using your stores any more. Starbucks or Costa from now on.

Visited this branch around 6pm. Shop wasn’t due to close until 9 but they had moved onto paper cups, presumably to save washing up as they didn’t appear to be short staffed. Somewhat spoilt the experience.

All good with us. Coffee was really good and served quickly. Really easy to find a clean table. Prices reasonable. Service friendly.

Today we popped in for a quick drink whilst visiting the outlet. Whilst sat enjoying our drinks we were surprised to see a dog brought into the establishment. Unbeknown to us there were two other small dogs in the corner of the coffee shop who started barking when the other dog appeared. They didn't bark for long however was shocked to see that the two small dogs were drinking water from glass from the cafes counter. One was also on the seat in the coffee shop. When leaving the coffee shop I asked the assistant if dogs were allowed in the shop. I was told they were as they were allowed around the site of the the outlet. To be honest I was a little shocked by this however this was the policy. I am not a dog owner however I do not find it acceptable to go into coffee shop see a dog on the furniture and drinking from a glass that will be used by another customer.

Quite surprised at out visit here last Saturday. It was busy but there were plenty of staff, but many of them seemed lacking in what to do. Most of the tables needed clearing so not sure why so many staff standing around could not see that! We ended up clearing our table before sitting down.We ordered a tea, a coffee and a sausage roll to be heated up. Not a particular taxing order so not sure why it took so long and after asking twice the microwaved sausage roll came out piping in fact far too hot and the pastry was all soft and squishy as it was so overcooked. Shame as the taste of the sausage meat was very nice. What was horrible was the smelly dirty toilet with no soap not sure why have a chart to say it was checked when it obviously hadn't.

The shop was virtually empty which made a refreshing change from the bustle outside in the shopping centre. The cold brew was just the thing for a quick cool pick me up after a warm day out and the staff were also very happy to accommodate my keto friendly order. It's always pleasant to visit this location if I'm in Ashford.

First time I’ve ever been to a Caffè Nero and to be fare if I was a little OCD on cleanliness of glasses I wouldn’t go back. Went with friends you both had coffee , myself I had Diet Coke and was give a glass . I think you need to invest in a new dishwasher or employ someone to wash the glasses by hand . There was so much powered from the dishwasher tablets/ liquid That I thought it would be safer to use a paper cup .

It’s not usually this slow, but this time it seemed to take forever. However once we got the coffee, it was of course lovely, strong and just right. The tables were in need of clearing

3 staff there one serving. Two girls too busy chatting in the back kitchen. Terrible service. Will not bother with here again

Visited here today and ordered coffees and took two sandwiches to the counter to be heated. Coffees were serviced very quickly and we the waited for our food to arrive. Over 15 minutes later, having finished our coffees, l enquired about the sandwiches and was told they forget to put the in the toaster. After a further wait they came up with the wrong sandwiches (I took the correct ones to the counter). When I requested a refund, it took me three attempts to obtain my money back and even then there was no aplology made or any courtesy shown. Needless to say, I won’t be re-visiting here again.

OK, I don't expect a lot from a busy Nero, but we had a long wait to get served, the toasted ciabattas when they finally arrived were stone cold in the centre, and the tables and chairs were pretty dirty.

Leckerer Espresso in richtiger Porzellantasse. Dazu wählten wir leckere Scones mit Butter und Marmelade. Leider etwas lange Warteschlange an der Theke, die mit 2-3 Leuten besetzt war. Sonst aber gemütliches Ambiente.

Hubby and i needed coffee,the coffee was fine pastries excellent but such a long line waiting to be served! May i suggest more staff!

Came here for lunch whilst on our shopping trip, food and drinks were very nice although there was no child friendly crisps or popcorn ( was all salted) and it was a bit chilly.

Stopped for coffee and sandwich during supposed shopping spree. We had no bags as shopping not to our liking. Chai Latte and chocolate as we would expect. Sandwich OK but noting special and a bit costly for what it was. (£10 for sandwich and 2 drinks).

My son is a connoisseur of muffins-and he says this is one of the best he has experienced. X3 of us had large tea, x1 large mocha and the muffin. In total it came to £11 which we think is quite reasonable.

The shops at this outlet are good but the food court is poor, so we went to this cafe. I really like Caffè Nero as the coffee is always hot and tastes like coffee. We had lunch here a hot caffe latte and egg sandwich both were good.

Nero always serves up a hot tasty coffee and this location was no exception. We chose to sit inside but there are some seats on the terraceA good plus is that you can get ice cubes in a glass if you select a cold drink .... not everyone does thatToilet facilities are minimal but, thankfully, the shopping centre has It's own nearby

I felt a bit rushed and not valued, the prices seemed a bit high for what we bought. Good quality. Too noisy, couldn't really hear what the girl at the counter was saying!

I Met Up With A Couple Of Old Friends Here At Ashford Desginer Outlet And As Coffee Lovers We Thought What Better Place To Go Than Caffe Nero. Busy As Expected As The Customer Service Was Grate, Coffee Spot On, And Delious Fresh Baked Pastry's Again Were Lovely For A Short Filler. I Would Definitely Visit Again And Recomend For All Occasions. Toilets Are Also Located In Store And We're Also Clean At Pressent Time.

Dropped in here for a coffee and a cake whilst shopping today. Quite busy today and we were quickly served and even found comfy, soft seats.Coffee was good and the cake excellent. A good end to the day.

The coffee shop was not busy when we visited yesterday. The young girl behind the counter was so busy talking to her colleague that she did not see that she put two dirty spoons with food on the tray. The loyalty card was stamped only for one drink etc She was not at all bothered about how she was serving us. There were no name tags otherwise i would name and shame here. When i took one of the dirty spoons back a young man standing behind the counter said some times moisture from dishwasher blah blah. I then pointed to the food stuck on the spoon for him to agree that it was dirty.The worst bit he did not even say sorry. I would not recommend this place to anybody!

They serve a great selection of hot drinks and pastries so you are ready for some serious retail therapy.

It was pretty busy when we visited but the staff were still friendly and seemed to be keeping on top of everything. My cake was borderline stale though and a bit disappointing.

As always Caffe Nero is generally a hit. It is busy, but if you get the sofas at the front it's a great people watching caffe.

Spacious interior and good seats outside for when it's sunny. Like all the chains at the glen it is a victim of its own success. When it's busy it dos get dirty as the overworked staff are so busy serving they have not time to clean the tables. The water jugs get hot and empty etc. when it's quiet it's fab lovely iced water and lots of leather chairs. Not a bad place if slightly pricey.

Not a bad setting with a small amount of outside seating as well as a sizeable interior. Food is pretty decent and quick for a fleeting visit.

great place to pop in to while waiting for the Outlet stores to open. Caffe Nero has seriously strong coffee. The café is roomy and has comfortable seating.I asked for an amaretto latté and it ended up being too sweet for me and not at all to my liking. I asked for a plain latté to replace it and the barista was happy to oblige. Great value for the money, too. Way lower than the mermaid!

Arrived here at a busy time, I felt like the staff didn't serve us but processed us; there were no pleasantries, no please or thank yous. Every single table...literally... had dirty cups, trays etc, people were having to clear away previous customer's trays. Toilets were dirty. Litter on the floors, dirty loos etc.

Yum, yum, if you like muffins, then give their Raspberry and white chocolate muffins a go- absolutely divine. On the other hand I didn't like their Lemon and poppy seed, I just did not like the lemon taste, just not for me. I have had others and liked but not these.

Nice coffee, not particularly busy so why where the toilets filthy? This wax mentioned to the staff who said they would attend to them, however this hadn't been done by the time we left. We were here until 4pm, the toilets hadn't been checked since 11am according to the chart on the wall.
