Delicious Sunday lunch with options for vegetarian and vegan in addition to the usual Sunday roast. The starter of smoked salmon and avocado was really tasty. I had the mushroom loaf and roast which I was kindly offered as a veggie option whilst my husband had lamb with all the trimmings including cauliflower cheese. As part of the Easter special menu the bread and butter pudding was irresistible.
Excellent service and very good value. Thanks to the Star team for our Easter treat.
What a treasure! Our party of seven over three generations were warmly welcomed and quickly served. Having drinks and food served to the table by train was an absolute delight and kept the children entranced. Excellent food in a truly unique setting.
Really great place for home cooked food, some of it literally fresh out of the oven. We had a ploughman’s with 3 cheeses, two different breads. Took rhubarb scones home for later and they were delicious!!
The food was reasonably priced, and vegan. The service was quick. The victoria sponge and meringue tasted like the real thing. It was SO lovely having hens wandering around our feet.
I recently won a Latte Art masterclass at the cafe with Head Barista Nathan Cooper. What a fantastic experience. Nathan is an excellent, patient tutor with wealth f knowledge about all things coffee! He immediately made me feel at ease and I had a great time having a go at practising different creations. Nathan also showed me some of his artistic work, including a pegasus design. Thank you so much! I never realised there was so much skill in creating beautiful latte art designs.
We had Afternoon Tea.
It was totally delicious. Really fresh and all home made.
Plenty of food and we took some home with us.
Great atmosphere and the staff were all very attentive and friendly.
We sat in the garden but they have indoor area as well.
Highly recommend.
Located close to Ashford United Football Club, those seeking a large and reasonably priced meal are assured of a warm welcome from the staff.
The menu is imaginative and varied and the helpings big.
There is parking close by and two large tables in front of the serving area.
Recommended.

If you don't want to go to the Granary Restaurant (or it's too busy), The Old Dairy is a very good alternative. Friendly staff serve a selection of drinks, snacks and ice cream; there's even a book and flower shop. It is also dog friendly.
I live local but had not been to Georgias Kitchen (The Swan). My sister visited so great excuse to go. We had breakfast and it was so good. Hot, fresh food and a very generous size, we both struggled to finish. Georgias Kitchen is spotless really nice restaurant, very welcoming atmosphere. This is my place to go when I get visitors.
Beside breakfast Georgias Kitchen do lunch, dinners, Sunday roasts. I have heard great things about the Thai night on Fridays.
For people who like a drink the pub side looks friendly there is entertainment most Sundays.
Visitors to Kent should make a note to visit Wittersham and have a drink and a meal. You will not be disappointed.
