The food was reasonably priced, and vegan. The service was quick. The victoria sponge and meringue tasted like the real thing. It was SO lovely having hens wandering around our feet.

I recently won a Latte Art masterclass at the cafe with Head Barista Nathan Cooper. What a fantastic experience. Nathan is an excellent, patient tutor with wealth f knowledge about all things coffee! He immediately made me feel at ease and I had a great time having a go at practising different creations. Nathan also showed me some of his artistic work, including a pegasus design. Thank you so much! I never realised there was so much skill in creating beautiful latte art designs.

I live local but had not been to Georgias Kitchen (The Swan). My sister visited so great excuse to go. We had breakfast and it was so good. Hot, fresh food and a very generous size, we both struggled to finish. Georgias Kitchen is spotless really nice restaurant, very welcoming atmosphere. This is my place to go when I get visitors. Beside breakfast Georgias Kitchen do lunch, dinners, Sunday roasts. I have heard great things about the Thai night on Fridays. For people who like a drink the pub side looks friendly there is entertainment most Sundays. Visitors to Kent should make a note to visit Wittersham and have a drink and a meal. You will not be disappointed.

I felt like this lovely little tea room deserved a trip advisor listing of its own. It is 5* just like it’s sister tea room, but a lot smaller. This adds to its atmosphere and it’s like stepping back in time, with the decor and music. It is quintessentially English and a really enjoyable place to stop and have a little drink and a bite to eat. They do also offer take away, which would be handy for those people working locally. Lastly the staff are also the same high standard as we have got used to in The Little Tea Pot. See you again soon and keep up the good work! You make Ashford a better place!

This is a credit to Tenterden. Lovely welcoming owners and staff. The hand made truffles are delicious. The large range of delicious bars are great for gifts for all occasions and just to treat ourselves. Would recommend calling in for coffee and and their hot chocolate is the best!

Tried for the first time and then have not looked back since. Very welcoming staff / family upon arrival. They ask if they are any allergen they should be aware off and they double check on delivery. Food was real good and flavoursome , well done team and keep up the good work. Lastly, there is a decent selection of cold and hot drinks on offer but there is a small seating area.

On our dog walks myself and my son often pass this bakery. Well this morning we decided to get a sausage roll! You have the choice of hot of cold and my son said it was really tasty! Also the lady was super friendly and even gave our dog a little treat which she absolutely loved! Will definitely be in here often to try more they have to offer.

Excellent value all day breakfasts. Big mugs of tea. Staff really friendly. Note: no toilet in the cafe but public toilets close by. Recommended!

I visit the pub on a regular basis and love the Sunday roast, the beer, staff and punters. Last Thursday I was in with my father-in-law and was a bit peckish and was offered the bar menu. I was surprised and impressed with the variety and was recommended the tapas by one of the friendly bar staff. Having chosen the three particular items the food arrived very quickly and excellently presented, not your average bar food! The food was delicious and plentiful and made a refreshing change. An extremely pleasant experience!

We cannot praise Ryder and the staff enough. We had an amazing stay-cation in Chilham and ate at the White Horse most nights. The menu is small but perfectly formed. We had steak and fish and chips followed by a wonderful roast on Sunday. Great food, great atmosphere plus a massive open fire and the wonderful rescue Huskey called Colt who made sure you were very welcome. Five stars every time and in such a beautiful village.

Very small carpark, but we did manage to park along the road opposite the pub. Personally, it is not very good for wheelchairs due to narrow doorways and being an old pub. It is a good menu but not a lot of choice for vegetarians/vegans.

The roast dinner used to be lovely but today the roast potatoes were salty , the Roast dinner price I was shocked to discover now doesn’t include desserts . Would been nice to be told as got a shock on paying that my bill came go more than I expected to pay . Used to be reasonable place but there putting up prices , changed the coffee . Some staff have left . And the menu not been updated in years . They don’t even change the meat that’s served up on a Sunday don’t wish for a chicken curry or lamb roast cos you won’t get it here not even a spaghetti bol or a nice lasagne and you don’t even get a Tomato in your salad or sweet corn . Place needs updating

Called in on the off chance and pleasantly received by smiling staff. Had 1 cream tea and 1 Peggoty tea which included a slice of cake. Huge pot of tea between 2 of us. Scones were delicious, warm out of the oven. Enough delicious jam and cream for the huge scones. Coffee and walnut cake was fresh and very good! Definitely look forward to a return visit. A lovely charecter tea room, pretty decor, they seem to have it spot on.

Consistently drum up really nice food and service. Excellent for family with funky pods. Been going for years.

Been to this Pub for the last couple of Sundays and can highly recommend it. I always go by how tasty the gravy is and this one beats many others. Lots of lovely veg too. The staff are delightful 😊
