By The Tank Cafe in Ashford

I have been here many times, had breakfast today, but have eaten at lunch time, today one friend had Sunday lunch(roast) its lovely, proper roast potatoes, so nice, my other friend had pie, mash+liquor, they are freshly cooked, the staff and owner are lovely, polite and prices are great. And you can take photo's of the big tank outside

Shittieest food ever dun oder from here!

First time eating at by the tank cafe food was absolutely lovely would highly recommend this cafe to anyone in Ashford.

Just ate a roast lamb dinner ordered from here was realy lovely will def order again

Fresh food prepared with a lot of love, unique service, everything is done so quickly and is so delicious

overall really good, only thing is where the beans are in the same container as everything, it was all abit soggy

There were exactly 8 chips and 3 small mushrooms on this order which feels like I have been ripped off

We are always greeted with a lovely, welcoming smile. It's a pleasure to visit this wonderful establishment.

Like to take the wife here for cooked breakfast on the weekends when we are off together. First class service and nice food at a good price with a great view to admire of an actual WW1 tank across the courtyard.

I've been going to this place off & on for 15 years. The food is cooked well. Service is excellent. Nothing is to much trouble. The owner is always on hand to help with any dietary requirements. Can honestly say. I've never had a bad meal here. Price are great & affordable.

Brilliant food and a wonderful service

Lovely food served by friendly efficient staff. Clean, fresh cafe, prices are awesome. Happy to serve a larger group of us too, accommodating all our requests, such as doggy bags for left overs.

I love this cafe. The staff are just so lovely. The portion sizes are perfect for the bigger eater and if you can't finish you can have a doggy bag. Better than any of the other cafes in the town.

Most disappointed as missing my piece of toast. However the rest of the food tasted very nice. Only ever order my breakfast from here.

ordered double pie mash and liquor x2 received single pie mash and liquor x2 pie top's where rock hard mash lumpy worst I've had from there won't be getting delivered again

Stumbled upon this place while hunting for a breakfast place in Town Centre.. tucked away from the busyness , beside ‘the tank’ itself, this place dint disappoint! Had a relaxed breakfast by the window and the sun shining through. Loved their hospitality. Would luv to come back!

I forgot to specific a delivery time when ordering so the lady at the restaurant personally delivered the meal to me at a time I requested. Again, top notch hot lovely food. Fantastic service thank you AAA+++

Best breakfast in Ashford! By far! Lady that runs it is lovely and nice to chat to. Food was cooked perfectly and with high quality ingredients. The lady gave helpful advice when my partner lost her phone also :) Looking forward to returning

Walked in a lady who was clearing a table greeted me, and said morning do you know what you want to order ? Or would you like a menu? I took a menu and was advised what I'd picked was good if I wanted toast as an add on it was actually a little bit cheaper!! I went with that I had a lovely fried breakfast and cuppa. Got chatting to a chap who'd been having breakfast there for over 20 years! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Which was better than the last café not far away and better value. Thank you!

I did a pre order at 14:30 for 15:30 and it’s arrived at 15:50 - it also has no cheese in the omelet either so not what I ordered

items missing from meal, food good but thrown on top of each other so was quite soggy

Tasty food as usual, bit late on delivery but it is a bank holiday so probably busy

Usually really like this place however this time round, they got the vegi breakfasts completely wrong and the chicken tortilla should be what the customer expects.... a fajita wrap not "a chicken sandwich with a heart attacks worth of cheese, salad and chips on the side". Now having to order something else in order to have a breakfast. Not very happy at all. Shall not be using again that's for sure.

There’s no sausage in my breakfast

Really good value breakfast but poor quality sausages used but everything was hot and really did get plenty for the £8 would go back again and suffer the sausage with loads of brown sauce lol

I had an omelette here before & it was really nice. However the other day I ordered a fry up and it was kind of all just thrown on a plate. The tomato juice from the plum tomatoes was swimming amongst the beans, the sausage was uncooked, the bacon was like it had been microwaved for a few minutes. To top it off it left me with a horrible stomach ache. Maybe drain the tomato’s as there is enough inside the tomato, cook the meat properly and buy bigger plates to accommodate the amount of food. Oh and my yolks because of how they were piled up had already burst and added to the sea of tomato/ bean juice. Lovely service though.

Ordered from here this morning for breakfast and I have never seen such a mess thrown into a box the fact they looked like they had been swung round a few times in a bag I asked for bacon not to be over cooked but didn't expect it to turn up almost still alive. My partner ordered and extra sausage and never got it both breakfasts missing mushrooms neither portion of chips had salt vinegar or mayonnaise on as requested. Everything and I mean everything was engulfed in beans. We have never ever had such a poorly put together breakfast. Needless to say it all went straight in the bin and unfortunately will be the last time we order from here.

The pie and mash was late. They microwaved the pie and the mash was half frozen in the middle. SO SO SO disappointed. You should be ashamed to associate yourself with the armed forces. Even mess hall scran was better than this.

Visited for breakfast and from the beginning the waitress greeted us with a smile and throughout our visit was really friendly and made our time in the Cafe really enjoyable. The food was just as good and plenty of it. 100% will be back and recommending to friends.
