We don't go here very often as it's too tempting with all their amazing fresh goodies but when we do, I'm excited and look forward to it. I rode here on my bike to get bread one time and they were very happy for me to bring my bike in and very friendly and helpful. It can be a bit pricely but it's only because of it being a small business so good quality for money. 100% recommend

This place is a right gem, freshly baked bread, cakes and pastries everyday. They once bake me a huge carrot cake and have the best custards filled finger doughnuts.

Always a great choice of pastries and cakes to choose from, so there's something for everyone whether you have a sweet or savoury tooth. Staff are always happy and friendly.

Love this little bakery and such a pity there are not more small bakeries like this still in existence. Always polite and friendly service and they even treat my dog's to bit fresh ham when we stop

Every week it seems I hear of another family business closing in Ashford. So pleased this bakery is not one of those. They sell good fresh bread and a wide range of pastries. On my latest visit I bought pasties and Danish pastries, all very good.

Called to get some bread and something for lunch. We went close to closing. Cheese and bacon turnovers were excellent and the bread was fresh. We had a couple of Eccles Cakes for pudding… Excellent..

Best bakery in Ashford I wish there was more of these in town. Unfortunately they have always run out of food by 10.30am which is upsetting.

He bread and cakes are really lovely, such good value for money. The Belgium buns are great, huge in size, the Eccles cake tastes amazing. All round they are fantastic.

We are new to the area and visited this lovely bakery to get something for lunch they make you sandwiches or rolls to order while you wait with lovely fresh ingredients we had cheese and onion sandwiches and roll on our first visit but returned the next day for ham and egg salad and egg salad along with cakes we will definitely be returning as staff were friendly and prices were very reasonable this is a traditional family run business that everyone should try

Use whenever in area, the fresh bread is excellent and takeaway food one of the best and always fresh, parking can be abit of a pain if on own.

I pop into this bakery on a regular basis and everything is always yummy. The staff are also always very friendly especially the lady with the short dark hair.

I took a photo as an example of a celebration cake I wanted made for my sons and fiance's engagement party it was perfect so pleased

Best bakery in Ashford by far, fresh, tasty and everything on offer from cakes, breads and sausage rolls, love anything I get from here, not much parking out front but car park a few houses up or across the road, worth the 2 second walk, drinks also available, a gotta try for everyone.

Our local bakers, all there cakes and bread are cooked in the shop. Do lovely bread roll's. parking is not to good

Read the trip reviews an decided to give this place a whirl, not a massive choice if you are looking for that but what I bought was two different sandwiches and I would give them a big thumbs up on the quality. Nice bakery and would definitely go there again when I am passing again....

I always used to buy my bread and cakes from this bakery when I lived in Ashford and then I moved to Smeeth and was worried that I would no longer be able to get all of these lovely rolls, bread and cakes and then I discovered that a local farm shop and my village shop both sourced their bread, etc from Davies'. I was then a very happy camper......I buy the tasty baton rolls and freeze them. I love their Harvester bread (granary) and their cakes are huge and so, so tasty.

Good dependable bakery. Bread is good, fresh and good value. It never seems to last for some reason :) Also tried cream cakes before which are good, but mostly pop in on a Saturday morning for a bloomer.

Brought an unsliced white load from here on Saturday. Took home and stored in my bred bin as usual. Half way down the loaf Sunday night and the middle had gone mouldy!

Brilliant the best bakers around for miles always go there for our lunch treats for the kids and rolls for party's also you get a large fully loaded roll £2 bargin

Love both the bread and cakes from this bakery - The eccles cakes are the most delicious and the granary loves are really tasty. Been having their products for years both from their actual shop and from other businesses that stock them around the area - always reliably good quality.
