Great family pub with lovely children's play area. Great ale and friendly and lovely staff. The only downside is they don't currently offer food. So it's something they could offer in the future. X

First time eating at the six bells with my family, it's my dad's local and I can see why he likes it so much. Fantastic fish and chips and the side salad and sauce is delicious

We were on our way home from watching Fools & Horses the musical at the Marlow in Canterbury, which, if you're a fan, is well worth a visit, & we booked a table which was readily available even though we were a bit early. The Ale is well kept, food very high quality & big portions, & staff pleasant & helpful- much better than the Nag's head in Peckham!!

Went here for afternoon tea with my husband and his parents. Had to book ahead of time as it is a small tea room and very busy - and I'm not surprised! It was absolutely wonderful - the service was brilliant, the setting is beautiful and the afternoon tea was absolutely delicious. My husband and I had a vegan afternoon tea and it was the best we have ever had. We couldn't quite finish it all so took our cakes away in a box. It was a brilliant experience and we will definitely be going back again. Thank you so much to all the team :) Holly x

We've e been this morning for breakfast with Sheila as our waitress and had another wonderful experience. Sheila is attentive, helpful, friendly and welcoming. The food is hot and cooked to order, if you you want a hot plate. The continental is available and stocked well, if its not there, it's not to much trouble for what you want to be found. The restaurant is clean and organised. Our middle son has complex learning disabilities and this is a place that we've found can and will accommodate his needs and doesn't judge on his needs or behaviours. We don't have many places we can go as a family, but this is one. The value for money is great and the atmosphere always pleasant. We booked in advance, was seated quickly and our orders taken in a great time too. There were a few walk ons for breakfast when we were there and Sheila was accommodating, welcoming and happy to see them too. I would highly recommend the woolpack and will return in the near future. What a wonderful place to chill out and enjoy the drink of your choice, either inside or outside on comfortable seating, very nice polite staff always helpful, don’t miss this little gem.

Never been here before pulled in on the off chance on a Saturday afternoon fantastic welcome by the landlady. My wife had a Ploughman. I had a ham, egg and chips. My wife said it was the best PLANS she’d ever had and my ham and chips was spot on give it a try you won’t be disappointed and great value for money.

A great dinner at the chequers, good service and the atmosphere was brilliant at the bar. The only negative is the menu is very basic for such a nice place.

Been a few times, usually ok. Last visit staff very unfriendly wanted to argue wouldn't listen to my request how we like food. They were more interested in the music over the tannoy. Had fish was ok, steak was like hard chewy leather.

We were visitors to Tenterden and came to Amy’s for a spot of lunch and sat outside The drinks were great and the food was delicious . Staff were friendly . Loved the special topped scone Would highly recommend
