This is my husband's favourite pub and over the past few years we have come to know Katy and her staff. We booked a table for six people for Sunday Lunch and was looking forward to tasting the new chef's delights. On arrival, we asked Katy if we could have our lunch where we were sitting. Nothing was too much for Katy to accommodate us, which now became a party of eight. Sunday Lunch was absolutely delicious, which included four pork shoulders, two beef and two lamb roasts, there was more than enough on our plates, vegetables, gravy and all the trimmings with nothing left on anyone's plates. We devoured everything. Bravo to the new chef and thank you Katy for always making us feel so welcomed. This is not to forget the bar staff who are all very friendly and hardworking.

We visited Woodchurch as a group of friends to celebrate my husband's birthday and knew we wanted to start with lunch in the local pub. The Six Bells was recommended by the owner of the holiday cottage. The landlady and waitress were very friendly and welcoming. There was a good choice of food and drinks on the menu and everyone enjoyed their meals. We revisited the pub for their quiz night and the waitress remembered that our friend couldn't have gluten and suggested some options for him. The pub quiz was great fun and well supported. We actually managed to win first prize!

A beautiful old pub with a lovely warm welcome. To see a pub open at 12 on a Tuesday and have a regular crowd attend is a joy to see. Even though we weren't locals, the staff were extremely welcoming, and the food served was delicious. The pub itself had loads of original features and a gorgeous open fireplace that was warming on a winters afternoon. Will definitely pop in again if passing.

We live in the village and my Wife & I just love this place. We can't praise Katy and all of the staff enough. Went to the Thursday Steak Night last night, it really was the Best. Steaks cooked exactly as requested. Lovely Bottle of wine included in price of the meal, very reasonable price for such Great quality food. Had food here 3 times in the last couple of weeks, never disappointed. Your Chefs are superb, thank them for us. Keep hold of them as long as you can. All the staff are pleasant and welcoming, thanks to them as well, also a wonderful homely atmosphere. We are so lucky to have a place like this in our village. Keep the great work up Katy and all of the staff. Many thanks from Lyn & Geoff Nutting

One of our two local pubs in Woodchurch. Food, Beer and Wine, they have a Great Selection. The staff are very welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere is really great, a real old fashioned English Pub which has a lot going on throughout the year. Just had a Sunday Roast. There was a group of five of us. Choice of four meats and a nut roast , plus all the usual things that go to make up a fab roast dinner. This isn’t the first time we’ve had our Sunday roast here as we’re local and It’s always outstanding. We’ve eaten elsewhere in the area but this is the best by a long mile. Not only is the food good but the staff are lovely, plus I have it on good authority that it’s the best pint in the area as well. If you’ve never been to this beautiful country pub give it a go. You won’t be disappointed .

I looks like things are happening at last at the Six Bells. Work taking place but not re-opened yet. I have lost count of the landlords and landladies for the Bells since our esteemed couple have left. So take no notice of any reviews over the past couple of years. There has been a succession of people without a clue running the place. Hopefully this time will be lucky. The rating I have given is hopeful.

I came here back in 2018 for lunch with my friend with our daughters who where 1 at the time. Was a fantastic pub, the food was amazing! Service was great!I forgot about this little gem until this week and thought I’d drive down and go for lunch, it didn’t look open and had a for sale sign slumped against the side near the door! I was gutted, but we ended up going next door which didn’t disappoint. I’d love to know if you are open or are opening again in the future.

Used to be mine and my wife's local when we lived in Eastry. Very friendly pub, from when we first visited, before we'd even seen the property we moved in to when we visit for quiz nights with old friends. Always good chats with locals, food is very reasonably priced and always tasty. My wife tried and succeeded in getting dessert there after we had done dinner at home. DO NOT COME HERE!! I came here for the first time for a catch up with my friends tonight and felt very unwelcome from the moment we stepped in. No one behind the bar said hello as we walked in but instead muttered to each other clearly about us! My friend who is 21 then asked for a drink and was ID’d which I understand because of the think 25 policy but when the barmaid didn’t believe her after the 3rd time of looking at it she then passed her ID around the bar to the other local drinkers which I thought was very rude and disrespectful as she already looks older than her age! After serving her, the barmaid walked away and began serving another customer before finishing all of us! After finally serving all of us, we sat down to do our shots and realised that the lime was mouldy- disgusting!! Lol Soz for the rant but after this, the bar maid then said she was on ‘high alert’ which was clearly about us she said it to her locals as she walked past us!!! Needless to say the Bonny cravat is much better and I won’t be coming here again lol, rude staff and bad vibes in here

There was a good choice on the menu (with a separate vegetarian menu) and also on the "specials" board. My wife is Gluten Free. I mentioned this when placing our order and when her meal turned up it was with Gluten Free gravy; a very nice touch indeed. There is a nice garden area. Prices were reasonable. I would recommend this pub to anyone in the area looking for a good meal.

We called in for a drink on Mother’s Day after walking the dogs, as my daughter lives in the village. OH went to the bar and came out with pints of Harvey’s for the men, a G&T; for my daughter, a bottled soft drink for me and coke and lemonade for my teenage grandchildren. The glasses for these soft drinks were tiny and filled with ice, so they held very little liquid. This was atrocious as it was only the squirty generic stuff rather than the real thing. Surely half a pint of liquid is not too much to ask for considering the prices charged? Will certainly expect better next time I visit.

Singleton Barn is a very accommodating and welcoming place to be, as well as accessible and disability-friendly. There is level access, double doors for wheelchairs and buggies, and a disabled toilet that is sizable enough to fit a wheelchair and assistance dog if needed. Disposable hand towels for autistic children etc in lieu of a hand dryer too. Sight-loss educated staff who pointed out where the card reader, cutlery and food items were without being made to feel othered etc. Kind, polite and helpful. The food quality is phenomenal, with generous portions for a hearty pub meal after a walk on a cold winter’s day. Photo attached to give a general impression of the interior. Calm ambiance, warming decor, family friendly atmosphere.
