The Rose Inn in Ashford

Called in by chance .was a lovely pub , TV sports , dartboard @ po ool table . Also good jukebox . Landlord Gregg was a happy chappy. Will visit again.

Visited for the first time today since it has had new management and it was fantastic the barmaid Zoe was very good, service was spot on will definitely be back

Great pub . New owners are trying to bring something different than before.

This is a great little pub, the food and drinks are very well priced and affordable, the staff are extremely welcoming, especially mary, all around a great little pub.

The absolute best English pub I’ve been to since living in the UK. Mary and Gary absolutely made our time. We randomly ended up there for dinner on Sunday and had to go back on the Monday for lunch before we left the UK. Mary made us feel so welcome and was very kind. Gary’s food was superb and the whole feel of the pub is very comforting and classic English with a slightly modern interior. Absolutely 10/10 recommend. It’s a great pub made even better by amazing service from both Mary and Gary!

Wow... What can I say? The Rose Inn has had a complete revamp compared to what it used to be. They have a completely new design and feel to the pub. They have a great selection of beers and all of the staff were very welcoming. Me and some of my friends play football on a Monday, from which we go to the Rose after as it is the perfect place to relax. They now offer Darts, Disco themed nights and a whole array of things to do throughout the week, which the staff were more than happy to talk to me about when I asked. The new owner, Gary, is a very kind chap who took the time to introduce himself and talk with us. They also now offer lots of food options, completely new and delicious. We will definitely be back every Monday and other days outside of football for food and drinks.

New landlord in here now. It's very refreashing.

We didn't eat ..(.unfortunately.).as the menu looked great...we were in the area for an appointment being early we decided to have a coffee and a beer...a very friendly barman delivered great coffees in a mug ...a really nice, clean friendly pub...shame we dont live in the area .. as we would definitely visit alot ...thanks the rose inn ..

Amazing food and a very friendly owner

For those, like us, who stay at a hotel in the Eureka business park, this is where you come and have a drink and a bite to eat. Very friendly welcome in what is clearly a well liked locals pub which has a very pleasant classic ambiance. Our steak and chips served with a salad were generous portions with the steak cooked just as requested. The ale on tap was in excellent condition. Also prices were very good value. We hope to be back in the future.

This was my first visit too the rose Inn and I must add that I felt at home the ambionse was first class I will make another visit in the near future.

Excellent value for money and nice new outside area.

Great range of food options for adults and kids including rice as a side for my son who hates chips. Good deals and nice big tables for us to sit at.

We watched a Premier League game here, wide screen TV's all over the place. Service is with attitude and a poor range of beers. This is really a bar for drunken over 50 locals only. People smoke in the door, blowing outside, but no one says anything. Awful place.

Nice local pub, loved seeing the regulars having a good laugh. Pizzas are homemade and a must if your looking for something tasty to eat. Owners are very supportive of the local community too which is lovely to see.

I visited this very friendly pub on a quiet Wednesday evening and was served lovely Shepherd Neame Master brew by the very welcoming bar maid Mary and had the best gammon egg and chips I have had in many years prepared by the newly promoted head chef Aiden.

The hotel we were staying at was busy due to a wake so looked at nearby pubs and found this little gem. Great value pub food especially if you get a meal deal which includes a pint. Would definitely recommend

I think this is more of a bar for the lads, and football on Sky, and pool table but there is a little snug around the corner with a real fire. Still enjoyed my wine here though.

helpful staff, food good, portions ok but I was hungry so out came some more! well done! wil visit again soon. Pub bar features large screen tv and footy!

New menu new look all great We tried it after the make-over it's much better now certainly will be going back to try other items on the menu
