We were fortunate to have been given a gift voucher for this charming venue. We booked for afternoon tea and the place was full. Friendly and welcoming staff serving various sandwiches, savouries, scones, cake and delicious macarons. The tea room was beautifully decorated with china everywhere and as Halloween was almost on us, decorations on that theme were apparent. I’d love to visit again at a different time of year for lunch.

Had a fantastic time here celebrating a friend’s silver wedding anniversary. We were treated so well by attentive staff. Being vegan you honestly don’t expect much but here was different, so well catered for. Everything was fresh and tasty. The others all said the exact same about their afternoon teas as well. There was so much food too we all had boxes to use for take out. This afternoon tea was better in quantity and taste to those I’ve had in top hotel chains. The interior of the tea room is beautiful and keeps you interested as there are new things hanging there you missed first time you looked around. I did speak with the owner who said there is always a gluten free and vegan cake on display which is great to know. I would recommend to all.

I have only given this tearoom 5 stars because I can't give it 10. My husband and I were passing and thought, from the outside, that it looked nice. When I went in...it looked amazing!!!! The ambience in there is so welcoming. The staff are tremendous. As I was there for breakfast, which was yummy, I couldn't taste the cakes. So, I took away 2 pieces of ginger cake which was so light. It was delicious. If you are anywhere near this place, I urge you to go. I loved it 😍 ❤️

This is a great tea room. Very quirky decor. slightly limited breakfast menu, for a non meat eater, but the bread was thick, and for the others, the bacon sandwiches were enjoyed. Lovely cakes and scones for later in the day. Friendly helpful staff. the only down side was the limited hours. Well worth a visit though. Eight of us arrived and we were dealt with very well.

I have visited this little gem for years, but on this visit I was really disappointed ☹️ tea bags was the ultimate upset here… we go here for the tea leaves as they are so nice! The scone was cold in the middle … on a Sunday only tea and cake from 2.20 pm this is not a way to run a business this day and age.. we won’t be visiting again anytime soon.

Treated my Mum to afternoon tea today and it was incredible. They happily catered for a vegan option too and the selection far exceeded any tea I’d had before. The food was delicious, a lovely warm welcome despite how busy they were and the service throughout was excellent. Can’t wait for the next special occasion to go again!

Oh wow! A beautiful quaint gem. I booked high tea for 14 ladies to celebrate my 70th birthday. What a fabulous choice I made. It was all perfect. We received a warm friendly welcome from the owner and her helpers. They made sure we were comfortable and cared for. The tea room is stunning, cosy and refined. We had vegetarians in our group and a couple of ladies with dietary restrictions that they catered for amazingly. The food was fresh, high quality and absolutely delicious. What a fantastic memory I have for my 70th. Thankyou.

Went here for afternoon tea for 2 friends birthdays. There were 10 of us in total. The first upsetting thing was we were split onto 2 separate tables, 6 on one and 4 on another. It is a small tea room, but we could of been advised that they couldn't accommodate us all on one table before hand. The next thing was the cost for what we actually got. We received ONE 3 tiered stand per table with a mixture of tiny finger sandwiches, tiny cakes and a few small sausage rolls and quiches. A large scone was also on a separate plate with jam and cream. We were offered one drink but had to purchase any extra. No Oat/Soya milk on offer either. This cost £25 per head so they received £300 in total, total rip off! I appreciate overheads for the establishment but each tiered stand must of cost a maximum of £10 to put together. The food was tasty but just not worth what they charged. Hate to leave bad reviews but I hope the manager may see this and think again about what things cost.

Stopped in today as we happened to drive past after a day out and saw the lovely display outside which drew us in. We were served by a lovely young girl (sorry didn’t catch her name) me and my partner had a jacket potato which was lovely and crisp on the outside and full of buttery potato on the inside. My mother in law had a homemade sausage roll which she throughly enjoyed, she especially loved the homemade onion chutney that come with it. Tea is served the good old fashioned way from a tea pot and you are given China cups to drink from. We did see the afternoon tea being served to another family but sadly as this needs to be ordered in advanced we couldn’t have, but we are definitely going to book in so we can sample that too!

Their cakes are soo good as are their scones and they don't skimp on the clotted cream and jam either! We love all of the vintage crockery and you really get the feeling that all elements of their food are thought through being either hand made or locally sourced. At the wedding all we had to do was give them the space to set up and a few instructions and they took care of everything, they really helped to make it a special occasion. Heartily recommended as both a tea room and a caterer of special occasions!!

Situated along the pretty High Street of Appledore on the Romney Marsh in Kent, this tea room is well worth a visit. Tables are pleasantly arranged within the inside as well as outside seating for sunny days. The menu is varies, providing toasted tea-cakes to Ploughman's Lunches. Afterniin cream teas are a must.

We spent a lovely afternoon at the tea rooms. The cakes were delicious. Our only reservation was the fact that they do not accept credit cards. It did not affect us, as we had a gift voucher from a friend, but others around us found it difficult as it was a Sunday and they were unable to access cash.

I called in for coffee whilst walking the Saxon Shore Way, This is a small tea room. The coffee was very good, as was the fruit scone with honey butter that I had to eat. The tables are a little small and close together and they are a cash only establishment. Service was OK. The lunch menu looked tempting. I have to say that the words 'high class' in the title seem a bit pretentious. Tablecloths are plastic. It's not the Ritz!

We stopped at this small tearoom with its china teacups and tablecloths for a late lunch. We shared a sausage roll with salad which was very tasty but not very big (husband was sorry he had agreed to share!) I then had a blueberry cake which was a bit dry and very sweet and my husband had scones which were rather dry too but came with a good amount of clotted cream and sour cherry jam. It is quite pricey for afternoon tea. Waitor and waitresses were very friendly and they obviously have their local regulars.

We called in with our 12 week old Guide Dog puppy and we're made most welcome by the friendly and attentive staff. Excellent choice of teas and snacks especially the Victoria Sandwich

Previously visited the Tearooms when they were located outside the front of Perry Court. The food was excellent and cheese, chutney sandwiches were huge and fresh. Has to be said for the new cafe the staff are great - however the new sandwiches are appalling. Cheap supermarket, sliced bread and a smattering of grated cheese for ££. Phenomenally expensive. A huge disappointment and wouldn't return.

We had a very good meal at The George at Molash; we were welcomed on arrival and shown to our table, the service was very efficient and the waitresses were professional but also friendly. They looked after us superbly. We chose our meals and these took a little time to come out but we were not worried about this as we were chatting and food was cooked freshly to order. Other tables were informed about a wait for some foods as they were cooked freshly to order. This didn’t affect us too much as we ate quite early - table was booked for 6.30pm. The pub was very clean and tidy. The portions were good - for both dinner and we had a dessert. We finished the evening with herbal teas and were shown a selection to choose from. Overall we had a very nice evening at The George, and had good food, service and atmosphere.

Went there expecting to get food and decent beer. NO Food. Looks like pub is up for sale with little interest. Beer was OK, but pub noisy due to football. Definitely one to avoid. Went to Eureka for a nice curry instead,
