lovely place to visit , staff very helpfull and welcoming, course well kept, some well placed hazards, but could do with better signage for directions to next tees

We went randomly with friends and the football was on. It was very busy but still felt safe and the staff were quick and efficient. The atmosphere was great, everyone was friendly and the outside area was clean and accessible.

Won competition on Ashford Radio On arrival Staff very friendly looked after shown to table we both had steak pie with potatos veg followed by Apple Pie and lemon pie it was of a good quality and would reccomend also good selection of drinks

A fantastic Micro Pub. The landlord is very friendly and so are the locals. A good choice of real ales. Well worth a visit

Waitress that served us was fantastic and really accommodating. I had food envy and regretted my choice but my pork chop was still amazing, my partners had the fish and it just looked amazing. Would def come back again. Bonus lovely dog comes around for pets as well.

I have been searching for an amazing British pub meal and I found it here at The George. The food was phenomenal with sourdough bread with home made butter and an amuse bouche that just made my taste buds explode. The starters looked beautiful but small (my eyes are bigger than my stomach), which I was worried about... then I took a bite and I was once again taken aback with powerful flavour and warmth of autumn, this was the miso roasted leeks with truffle and crispy egg yolk. Just wow. For my mains I had the pork belly and with how well the first plates where I had high expectations. I wasn't disappointed, if anything I was even more pleased by the different flavors and textures put into this meal. I also found out all the meat is bought from the local village butchers, which adds a cozy element to this community pub. I can't wait to come back for more meals with my family! Fantastic work from everyone in The George.

were on a stopover in the small booth. Only take away, but worth it. Super friendly owners. The fish was fresh and extremely tasty, portions were large, sauces were good - especially the hot one 🔥 Price is also reasonable, we are happy!

Great fish and chips with proper mushy peas ( the cod is a big portion and lovely and fresh) Chicken shish with all the trimmings is the best around Donor kebab and chilli sauce is the best around Everything is fresh and clean it’s definitely our go to place for a takeout dinner The two guys are so welcoming too 10/10

Almost impossible to be critical of this Bakery , Superb quality of products and range , fresh made to order sandwiches . Doughnuts best ever anywhere sells fast , bread cutting and pre-order arrangements , The icing on the cake ! For Bakeries.. parking is available but not many spaces , (disclaimer) any parking regulations in private or public land or roads do I have any influence or recommend any parking preferences , any parking is the individual action ... .
