Nice drink options. Cake options look okay. Not that impressed with the prawn sandwich made with frozen prawns that were a bit rubbery and had little taste for £8.25! A fairly nice eating area, clean and tidy but basically built in a shed. Staff happy and polite and quick to serve.

Great attitude from the staff. Bit expensive but worth it.

Im not one to usually leave a bad review but it has to to be said. The service was disappointing—our waiter slammed the plate onto the table, nearly knocking over my partners coffee, without an apology or asking if we needed anything else. The food was also underwhelming. I found what appeared to be a nose hair in my dish, the scrambled eggs were watery and unappetizing, and overall, the meal wasn’t enjoyable. The toast was the only highlight. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience.

Had our christmas get-together here with my family last Sunday. Absolutely brilliant. Food fantastic, staff very friendly. If I could give them 10 out of 10 I would.

The cake was fantastic, the milkshake apparently was great but my luxury hot chocolate was cold and only a half cup under the cream which was a little disappointing. We will return, just not for hot chocolate 😊

Extremely poorly cooked breakfast, burnt sausage, burnt bacon, gritty mushrooms, cold toast, and a poached egg so undercooked and snotty, just got up and left.

Came here because we were in the area and the local pet crem service recommended them. Staff were so friendly and chatty with the children. Food was great and reasonable prices too

Never been here before and did not know there was another room to eat. Found out this was booked in advance for us which was a surprise. Great coffee and cake. Very good service . All in all, a great place to stop off for a break and , wander around the garden center.

The Garden Restaurant is an excellent place to eat, well established and very popular. It has a great menu with an excellent choice of dishes, something for everyone including young children with a dedicated kids menu. The food is consistent with it's high quality presentation and locally sourced ingredients. The owners are very hands on and really friendly and helpful. This is a place that you will definitely come back to over and over again as it really is that good. I must say that the level of hygiene is extremely impressive, they are always cleaning surfaces with antibacterial spray. Highly recommended if you are passing!

Ate at this cafe yesterday (29/04/24). Have eaten there before Christmas last year. Such a popular place. There are 3 areas of tables. Some inside the cafe itself, a couple adjacent to cafe where dogs are welcomed and a barn area outside. As you can see I’d the full English Breakfast with toast. It was filling. My friend and I both had the same. We were both full and decided to each buy a scone to take home. My friend chose the cream + jam, and both we’re boxed up nicely and they kept them in the cafe (once we’d paid for them) until we returned from looking round the garden centre itself. Well worth a visit. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and tidy in all areas.

As you can see this place is the best love going there for our delicious food . On my birthday I took my family they were very impressed the staff and the chef are professionals . We have been going there since it opened.

Visited just for a quick cuppa. That's all we needed at the time. The cafe is just the job. Also the garden centre is very good with a lot of products.

Always fresh piping hot food delivered to your table. The “today’s specials” worth a look at. Would advise to book for a Sunday lunch session.

No menu on Facebook page after scrolling through countless pages . I went on there website clicked on restaurant expecting to see the menu there and all it come up with is a picture of the front !!! Even information on the brother is vague . Come on guys sort it out !

I had the gardeners breakfast. It was well cooked with quality ingredients. My only criticism there was no hash browns.

I have been here a few times but last week went, with friends, for Christmas Dinner. The food was excellent, and more than expected, vegetables perfectly cooked (not easy when cooking in bulk) and the service prompt but not intrusive. Excellent value. One star docked (Atmosphere) because people kept leaving the door to the store (next to our table) open causing a draught. Perhaps an automatic closer would help.

Nice, friendly place to stop for a bite to eat or a wander round the garden centre which sells a whole host of different things including plants, furniture, cards and gifts. The restaurant has an extensive menu and caters for different dietary needs. I found it clean, welcoming and the food was very good.

My husbands garden breakfast was amazing for the price, but unfortunately my scrambled egg on toast wasn't so good, didn't eat half the eggs because left to cook to long in microwave and not enough butter added. Nice toast though tasted like real butter 🙂

This restaurant has expanded since my last visit. Still warm and welcoming, as is the Garden Centre it is housed in. Ripley's Garden Centre is gearing up for Christmas

Dog friendly restaurant. Very friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. We only nipped in for coffee and cake. Very good. Other people's food looked very delicious. We then walked round the garden centre with our little dog. Lovely destination.

The coffee used to be so good,but now it's awful,definitely changed there beans ,I can no longer drink it now,which is a shame 😞

We sat in the garden area as a very hot day. Was shaded and cool. Choice of 4 gluten free cakes! Staff friendly and helpful. Clean and hygienic.

First time we visited this restaurant. The food was good however didn't have an extensive menu, what they did have they done well. It can be a bit hot if it's a hot day as you are sitting under a glass roof.

This cafe is HOT as it's in a greenhouse 😀 wide range of food, hot and cold service friendly, and chatty. Lots of seating seems popular with the older generation. This may be due to it being in a garden centre. So nice place to take your parents or grandparents.

Such a lovely place to visit, shop and take a food break

Food was fantastic, service was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, as did our friends, before we had a relaxing wander around to select some more plants for our garden! Can't wait for our next visit!

Always an excellent place for lunch or breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff and prompt service. Varied range of specials too - it's always a difficult choice which one to choose as all of them are delicious!

The restaurant was full when we visited, but tables were available under a covered area outside, which we dined at. Service was quick and the lady who delivered our food and drinks was polite and friendly. The food was great and we will definitely return.

Very nice breakfast and nice size coffee to go with it. Price very reasonable. Nice to have breakfast before shopping for plants. Will be back.

A great place for a bite to eat and a drink. There's a good selection of hot and cold drinks available. There is a good choice on the breakfast menu and there's a separate lunch menu which includes sandwiches and other options. The food looks really nice and the restaurant has a good reputation that's well deserved. The staff were really friendly and there's free parking on site.

If your a bap eater you will enjoy a sausage, bacon or egg filling...personally I found it abit dry, cuppa was lovely though.

Stopped on way back from tenterden first visit to garden restaurant well so amazing went back for a meal couple of days later . The food was excellent you could not cook better yourself will definitely be a regular now thank you ☺️

Popped in with my daughter ( coral ) for brunch & yet again it was amazing. Got cakes to bring home ad to full to eat them there, I had baileys cheesecake which I have just eaten & omg soooo amazing. Could actually taste the baileys & cheesecake was so soft. Yet again the owner was very welcoming & helpful. Will definitely be back.
