A fantastic Micro Pub. The landlord is very friendly and so are the locals. A good choice of real ales. Well worth a visit

There used to be several pubs in the village and, with the closure of them all, this place is a godsend. A quirky venue with a great selection of beers and a friendly vibe. Check it out.

Different in all the right ways. Friendly owner, customers seem pleasant. If you're into real ales and traditional ciders it's for you.

Not open on Thursday evening at 7.10pm. First time I tried to use it, 6 of us went to Indian instead.

Turns into a Coffee shop open Fridays and Saturdays. Lovely staff, very friendly, extremely reasonable prices and a lovely atmosphere

This little gem is amazing. Good coffee, good food, amazing lady behing the counter. If this place had WiFi would be a treat to work in on a Friday. All reasonably priced. Good quality and very tasty.

So glad I found this gem whilst staying in the area. Great drinks, cozy atmosphere and an owner who wants to know you by name. Met some lovely locals in there too - sad to be leaving town soon as this place has been a highlight of my stay! Thank you Bookmakers!

On a cold and miserable Saturday afternoon, we called in for a cuppa and was greeted warmly by Sharon and her staff. Plenty of choice on the menu. A homemade sausage roll and large piece of gluten and daifree cake (me) and huge slice of chocolate cake (him), as well as a cuppa, made a lovely change to our usual Saturday afternoons. We had a lovely natter with Sharon and some locals and learnt a little about Charing. Definitely planning another afternoon out very soon.

Popped in for a cup of tea and piece of cake- most gorgeous chocolate marble cake I've ever tasted!!! Sharon was friendly and really made me feel at home, as I was on my own when visiting for a bit of R&R. Served quickly and really reasonably priced. They even do take away so took a piece of coffee and walnut cake home fir hubby- which looked as yummy as mine.

We had the pleasure of stumbling upon these quaint tea rooms on a miserable rainy afternoon and couldn’t have been happier. Greeted enthusiastically by Sharon and her staff, we were treated to an array of sumptuous homemade cakes and pastries, all of which looked amazing, and we weren’t disappointed. Portion sizes were huge and tasted as good as they looked. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food. We will definitely be dropping in for more coffee and cake very soon.

A great little find - sorry no pictures to show. If you are passing through Charing in a Saturday pop in for nice coffee and amazing cake.

A small independent publican. A great place to take your dogs for an evening drink. With a nice atmosphere, selection of drink and a warm friendly host.
