Amici Restaurant in Ashford

I got served by a young lady named Erin and she was very kind and helpful throughout the evening. We need more people like Erin in this world! Is it possible to leave a remote tip for her or should I come into the restaurant to do that

Great food, great service, nicely priced. Was an excellent time for my girlfriend's birthday. Would definitely consider going again.

Disgusting food food was tasteless. My dish had NO wine, spicy nudja sausage, crab meat no garlic. Both pepper pots are salt which I did not know and couldn't eat it. My liquor coffee was freezing cold then when they returned it back it was burning hot and the bread was flatbread not the bread that was described she brought back the WRONG REPLACEMENT bread, flatbread is not Italian.

Nice local Italian that feels like a traditional trattoria. Staff were friendly and the venue was nice, albeit a little bit warm with the fire raging in the back. Complimentary bread was a nice touch. The mains were nice but not exceptional. The salmon was slightly overcooked on the pasta which meant it was superfluous to the meal. The prawn and scallop linguine that was ordered as a starter tasted fresh but the sauce lacked flavour and coming in at £25 it was a tad expensive for the size. Also it was served on a thin crispy bit of bread that felt like it was just trying to hide the small portion size. It was good but just 10% too expensive for the quality of the food.

Our work's Christmas Dinner here turned into a bigger treat than we were expecting for an evening out in Ashford Town Centre. This family run Italian Restaurant is a little gem. A fabulous host and team of waiters provided us with an evening to remember. Excellent food and hospitality. We will now make this our go to place.

The hospitality and service we received from stepping through the door was incredible the staff are so welcoming and literally make you feel at home, the attention to detail was like something we had never experienced before, we was asked to make ourselves comfortable then was asked if we was happy with where we was sitting then what i believe to be the chef was passing by our table and he asked us to let him know if we was to warm if so he would amend the heat from the fire nearby, the food was incredible we travel to Italy a lot and i can honestly say it was like we was eating in a restaurant along the amalfi coast ! i will definetly be returning with my family and just wanted to say thank you to Amici for making my birthday so special we will see you again soon X

Really wonderful little restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. We were a group of 4 and all decided to go for the lunch time menu. They had a great range of dishes and catered to my vegan friend. Will definitely be back!

I stopped in on the weekend and was glad to get a seat. The staff was very gracious and helped me navigate drinks and dinner. My main was the black squid ink pasta with prawns and calamari on top which was exceptionally good. There was more than I needed to eat but I did my best. Dessert involved fudge cake injected with fudge, ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and it was delicious. If you are in the area, make a reservation and come enjoy the food.

We have had two takeaways previously and they have been so delicious but the dining experience here is top notch 😍 Incredible food and the service is so lovely, 10/10 ❤️

Food was very bland and reminded me of tinned spaghetti hoops. Very disappointed and will not be returning. £20 not well spent.

There were only 2 vegetarian options and the tagliatelle was extremely bland. Absolutely no seasoning used. The fries tasted very strongly of the oil it had been fried in. This meal was not cheap either! Although service was good will not be returning. Very disappointed and do not recommend. Pizza express around the corner would be a better option.

Amici was a real find and we’re really happy that we did. Very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.Lovely couple that own it and the staff are friendly and attentive and leave you alone to enjoy your meal and relax. Special shout out to Kelsey who is a real ambassador for the restaurant and a great credit to them!! The food was amazing. We were just starting our mains on our first visit when we decided to rebook for the following night. We ended up booking three nights running as we knew we would have wonderful evenings, and we did. They added lovely touches for us on our Birthday/Anniversary celebrations and handled the celebrations discreetly, which really brought smiles to our faces. Highly recommended!! Thank you to all at Amici !!

I had their lunch special and it was extremely tasty and filling. The staff was attentive and very nice. The interior is great. Comfortable chairs. Walking past the tables is a bit narrow.

This was the best Italian food I have had in my life. The staff were lovely, the service was quick and it is also very affordable.

Yet again this beautiful restaurant delivers 100% quality and excellent food. From start to finish this is a wonderful experience. Such friendly and helpful staff. Amazing service. Amazing food. UPD. I appreciate the comment below from the owners/managers, although at least three tables outside were not obviously booked. And I proposed to sit there, I didn't care where to sit. And still I heard no again. Why do you keep the tables attractively placed outside if you don't allow to sit there? Hope you will think about it. And I keep the raiting I gave. Fit it just 1 person was obviously possible. You just didn't care - you got enough customers. “”” Truly disappointing experience. I came specifically. Planty of free tables both outside and inside. Nice “welcome” sign. And.… “we don't have a table because we are very busy. If you can't manage more tables, why do you keep them in a ready-to-welcome shape? Or is it because I was a solo traveler and you prefer to have company and feel they it is fine to send the solo traveler away? The food could be marvelous, but to avoid such experience, try another place.

As always the food is great, super friendly staff and a great atmosphere. A real gem in Ashford.

Went here for some Italian fare. Originally, I wanted to order the Tagliolini al Nero con Granchio, Nduja e Gamberi £17.95 which is Black squid ink pasta with spicy Nduja, king prawns, crab meat, in white wine, garlic, and topped with crispy calamari. They said it was really spicy because of the Nduja but I only wanted that dish because of the squid ink pasta so they suggested getting this other seafood pasta instead. In a way, I regretted not asking if they could just replace it with squid ink pasta for the other dish. Anyway, also had this other buccatini dish which was also in a tomato based sauce. Overall, I felt that both pastas tasted really similar as the tomato base was the same. Apart from that, it was a really nice restaurant and the ambiance and setting was good.

Absolutely delicious dishes with excellent service.

Very nice Italian with friendly staff and excellent food. This restaurant usually gets very busy and it's highly recommended to book. The lunchtime menu offers a good value set price. The full menu has a large range and it's all reasonably priced. Parking is in the nearby town centre car parks.

We booked this Restaurant to celebrate my birthday and hoped to have a good evening however we were given terrible and awful service by the owner. Avoid this restaurant if you are black, you will never be given good service.

Amici is amazing, the food never disappoints as an American I did need to get used to the slower service in England, but the server was great. I can not recommend the Eaton Mess for dessert enough!

Owner of this restaurant displayed the most insane act of racism I ever witnessed in my life. I visited this restaurant with a couple of friends and found out the owner is a pathetic racist who did not attend to us cos of the color of our skin. Very bad restaurant. Definitely, not recommeding this awful restaurant, ever. I will not comment on the food offered as I was not offered the opportunity to taste it by this unruly and myopic business owner, Massimo who is definitely not fit to live in a modern Great Britain.

We have been in Kent for two and a half years and have been disappointed with the quality of Italian restaurants in Maidstone and Tenterden. We thought we'd try Ashford and found Amici. What a gem. Superb food, lovely staff and a really cosy warm atmosphere. Will return for Mother's Day!

It's a little gem in kent I loved all the dishes we didn't have to wait long for food and you could tell it was cooked fresh! Waiter's were nice and attentive explaining what we didn't understand! The prices is reasonable I would definitely recommend trying amici if you're a foodie and love Italian food you certainly won't be disappointed! I will go back again

Perfect place for a romantic meal, just in time for valentine's day or for a meal with very good friends. The food is perfect and the service is done with a smile. Also a comfortable place for a small group of friends for a lunch or dinner.

My husband and I are gluten AND dairy intolerant. We walked 2 miles to get to this hidden gem and it was well worth it! The staff live up to the restaurant name and are indeed incredibly friendly. More than happy to stop and chat and went out of their way to ensure we had a good meal. Chef went out of her way to make something for me that wasn't on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. The coffee and Limoncello are also a must!

Was surprised by the decor when we initially entered, which was more Mediterranean than Italian. Food was mediocre. The melted camembert and gorgonzola was just an overcooked camembert, which had turned sponge-like in consistency, with a couple of pieces of slices of a supermarket baguette on the side. The tiramisu was dry, and pistachio icecream was icy, not creamy, and bright green. A store-bought tub would have been better. The mains were the best part of the meal. When we asked for the bill, they hadnt itemised the food, just totals for starters, mains, drinks etc. which meant it was impossible to verify. We were only asked after we paid if we liked our meal, so felt unable to give feedback at that point. Overall, disappointing and not worthy of a 4.7 star rating.

It's a small but cozy restaurant, very clean and well maintenance. Services were good and friendly. The food was extremely delicious. I picked the Pollo Crema e Funghi which was very hot and came with a very creamy sauce. The broccoli soup was rich and was quite a delight.

Extremely disappointing this restaurant closes for Christmas and Easter holidays! When I enquired why I was told the staff close for half term and holidays . Such a loss for their business!
