Such kind and beautiful staff, the setting is so homely and clearly family-run and the food is amazing! Would recommend to anyone🥰

Our second visit wowed use as much as the first. The staff are so lovely special shout out to the young lad who was so very kind and attentive, also the tall black haired young lady who buts the S into service shes a credit. The menu is caters for vegetarians, fish and meat eaters with a good selection without being too over whelming. Service is quick and food arrived fresh and pipping hot, simple food cooked incredible well and seasoned to perfection without the need for sauces. Clean food served and priced well set in a clean and welcoming environment, service charge not included in the price giving you the choice to reflect a tip to suit how you was made to feel rather than being told what to pay(for me I therefore over tip as Im not told to!) We cant wait to return and highly recommend you give this family a try. Supporting business such as this means they stay with us to enjoy rather than a chain feeding us substandard food at heavy commercial prices. Keep up the great work❤️

We have been meaning to visit Amici for a while and it didn't disappoint the Italian restaurant had a lovely cosy ambience alongside amazing staff who were so friendly and very attentive, we had the added bonus of the amazing owners Justina and Massimo making us feel very welcome. The food was amazing, the Italian style chicken and steak were perfectly cooked, seasoned and beautifully presented and the desserts were delicious, especially the Tiramisu which was magnificent. Amici helped fuel my obsession with Italian history, culture and I genuinely felt I was back in the eternal city of Rome. We will definitely be back

We were celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary and having a dinner out before i give birth and we don’t get the chance. Food was absolutely delicious! Service fantastic. Fabulous experience as usual.

Don't get the hype. Food was OK but overpriced and expensive. Sea bass was not seasoned, scallops overdone, risotto like no risotto I have ever had in all our travels in Italy.......but not in a positive way - consistency all wrong and again poorly seasoned. A big thumbs up for the tiramisu, that was excellent, but then, at £9 for a smallish piece, it should be. Service was very good. Nice ambience. But never again.

Absolutely fantastic meal. We arrived without a booking on a busy Saturday night and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Everything that followed was excellent - food and service. First time here, but will definitely be back.

Everything excellent except the addition of a service charge to the bill. Silly thing was I would have given more than was added but I like to make my own choice.

Such a fantastic place and we're so glad that we discovered it. A special place to celebrate our wedding anniversary.....and they even remembered it from the booking and gave us a special dish to celebrate. A family run business with real heart, fantastic, friendly staff....and DELICIOUS food! We had the best time and will definitely be visiting again on our next visit to Ashford. Wonderful people, a homely feeling to the restaurant and it was buzzing with people. HIGHLY recommended.

Came to celebrate a 70th birthday and the staff were so lovely throughout. You have to book in advance because it’s so popular to make sure you get in. The food was very tasty and quick. Lovely range of menus including gluten free. Our group had risottos and chicken meals. Lovely atmosphere.

Wow! The food was beautiful, the staff were attentive and personable. The pricing is fair, the quality of the food is perfect. They have cocktails if you fancy one! Me and my partner have even said we would do the hour journey JUST to come back here and eat.

Superb lunch to celebrate two birthdays. Excellent service by two young ladies who were attentive and efficient with lovely smiles! Set menu with great choices including a great GF selection. Authentic and fabulous food and a great atmosphere. Happy to recommend Amici at Ashford and wish we lived nearer so we could visit more often!

It's a wonderful experience to have dinner in this lovely restaurant. The foods were amazing, we were surprised how authentic they were!! The service was fantastic too! Many thanks to all the sweet ladies☺️! We will definitely come back and recommend it to friends.

Tasteless salmon and too hot inside

Probably the best Italian food I’ve eaten in the UK. Also, portions are perfect sizes. The menu is great with many great choices it makes it difficult to choose a dish to have (in a good way). Would highly recommend, especially if you are into seafood.

Wonderful in every respect. Even a separate vegan menu, unheard of in most Italian restaurants. Food was delicious, service impeccable. Very pleasant ambiance.

We had a meal here while staying in Ashford on our way back home from holiday. We chose it because of the excellent vegan menu and we were not disappointed. Everything we ate was delicious and the server was attentive and friendly. We had a lovely evening, the only downside is that we live so far away or we would be there for every occasion.

My favourite place to eat in the whole of Ashford (or anywhere!). Food, service and ambience is all of a very high standard. The vegan menu is also outstanding for a restaurant of this size - a real choice is offered across a number of courses, and it's all delicious!

Service was pretty good but they're not wise on their allergens here which is a shame. Atmosphere was lovely and waitress really attentive. Now the food..... The non-veg options looked amazing so can't comment on that but the vegetarian options...... Worst vegetarian Italian food I've ever had. If you're vegetarian, do not eat here!

Always excellent, the food and service is the best in Ashford. Freshly cooked and a friendly ambience, cannot fault them.

One of the best Italian restaurants i been

I got served by a young lady named Erin and she was very kind and helpful throughout the evening. We need more people like Erin in this world! Is it possible to leave a remote tip for her or should I come into the restaurant to do that

Our waitress/waiter was very attentive and friendly. Food came out with a suitable time to chat in between. The food was delicious. Can’t recommend this little gem enough!! Well done team Amici.

Disgusting food food was tasteless. My dish had NO wine, spicy nudja sausage, crab meat no garlic. Both pepper pots are salt which I did not know and couldn't eat it. My liquor coffee was freezing cold then when they returned it back it was burning hot and the bread was flatbread not the bread that was described she brought back the WRONG REPLACEMENT bread, flatbread is not Italian.

Visited Amici for the first time for a meal with family and was immediately impressed with the decor. A warm and inviting welcome. The service was attentive without being over-bearing. Ordered the special Linguine and it was fresh, tasty and plentiful. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to eating there again.

Nice local Italian that feels like a traditional trattoria. Staff were friendly and the venue was nice, albeit a little bit warm with the fire raging in the back. Complimentary bread was a nice touch. The mains were nice but not exceptional. The salmon was slightly overcooked on the pasta which meant it was superfluous to the meal. The prawn and scallop linguine that was ordered as a starter tasted fresh but the sauce lacked flavour and coming in at £25 it was a tad expensive for the size. Also it was served on a thin crispy bit of bread that felt like it was just trying to hide the small portion size. It was good but just 10% too expensive for the quality of the food.

Our work's Christmas Dinner here turned into a bigger treat than we were expecting for an evening out in Ashford Town Centre. This family run Italian Restaurant is a little gem. A fabulous host and team of waiters provided us with an evening to remember. Excellent food and hospitality. We will now make this our go to place.

Visited with few friends for a lunch , lovely atmosphere and super friendly service. As soon as we walked in we felt so comfortable and welcomed! We decided to go for a lunch special menu which is a great value for the money! Food was superb, fresh and delicious 😋 plus you get a complementary fresh warm bread and a drink. Amazing, very special place and people

Felt very rushed. No time to sit and enjoy ambience and chat. Starter was brought out almost as soon as ordered. We asked for more time before mains were brought out and we was asked how long . Mains were average. I felt that maybe they had been microwaved and didn’t feel home cooked. After our meal our bill was brought to us without us asking for it. And it was obvious that they wanted everyone to go. We would have liked to sit and drink a bit more and maybe have a cocktail or two but we had to leave as they were getting ready to close. Not a great experience. It was a friends birthday and we feel very disappointed.

The hospitality and service we received from stepping through the door was incredible the staff are so welcoming and literally make you feel at home, the attention to detail was like something we had never experienced before, we was asked to make ourselves comfortable then was asked if we was happy with where we was sitting then what i believe to be the chef was passing by our table and he asked us to let him know if we was to warm if so he would amend the heat from the fire nearby, the food was incredible we travel to Italy a lot and i can honestly say it was like we was eating in a restaurant along the amalfi coast ! i will definetly be returning with my family and just wanted to say thank you to Amici for making my birthday so special we will see you again soon X

Really wonderful little restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. We were a group of 4 and all decided to go for the lunch time menu. They had a great range of dishes and catered to my vegan friend. Will definitely be back!

This is a great little Italian family restaurant that offers an excellent and reasonably priced lunch menu. The wines are very good and the service great and friendly

I stopped in on the weekend and was glad to get a seat. The staff was very gracious and helped me navigate drinks and dinner. My main was the black squid ink pasta with prawns and calamari on top which was exceptionally good. There was more than I needed to eat but I did my best. Dessert involved fudge cake injected with fudge, ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and it was delicious. If you are in the area, make a reservation and come enjoy the food.

We have had two takeaways previously and they have been so delicious but the dining experience here is top notch 😍 Incredible food and the service is so lovely, 10/10 ❤️

When I visit Ashford I always like to visit this wonderful restaurant, the owner is so welcoming and bubbly, the food is amazing,for starter I had the calamari and my sister had the mushroom soup, the main course was king prawns linguine and my sister had the sea bass it was very good value at £17.50 for the two courses including a small glass of wine, as it was my sisters birthday they did her a happy birthday plate which was such a lovely touch x will definitely return Shen I visit Ashford next time x

My partner and I attended Amici restaurant on a Saturday night. We didn't book the restaurant as it was a random find for us. We walked in and were greeted with a smile and nice welcome. Thankfully, a member of staff found a table for us but we were told they wouldn't be able to take our order for 30 minutes as they were busy (we did not mind this at all). We enjoyed a couple of drinks while we waited - the cocktails are delicious! The restaurant has a lovely cosy feel with nice decoration. I really liked the touch lamp on the table, you can decide on what mood lighting you'd like. All of the staff members who served us were polite and friendly. The garlic bread was lovely, I would have liked a couple more pieces than just two bits of bread. Our main courses were scrumptious and desserts were lovely too. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to Amici restaurant and we were so glad to come across it. We both walked out happy with full bellies. We will definitely return if we are ever in the area again. There were only 2 vegetarian options and the tagliatelle was extremely bland. Absolutely no seasoning used. The fries tasted very strongly of the oil it had been fried in. This meal was not cheap either! Although service was good will not be returning. Very disappointed and do not recommend. Pizza express around the corner would be a better option.

UPD. I appreciate the comment below from the owners/managers, although at least three tables outside were not obviously booked. And I proposed to sit there, I didn't care where to sit. And still I heard no again. Why do you keep the tables attractively placed outside if you don't allow to sit there? Hope you will think about it. And I keep the raiting I gave. Fit it just 1 person was obviously possible. You just didn't care - you got enough customers. “”” Truly disappointing experience. I came specifically. Planty of free tables both outside and inside. Nice “welcome” sign. And.… “we don't have a table because we are very busy. If you can't manage more tables, why do you keep them in a ready-to-welcome shape? Or is it because I was a solo traveler and you prefer to have company and feel they it is fine to send the solo traveler away? The food could be marvelous, but to avoid such experience, try another place.

Went here for some Italian fare. Originally, I wanted to order the Tagliolini al Nero con Granchio, Nduja e Gamberi £17.95 which is Black squid ink pasta with spicy Nduja, king prawns, crab meat, in white wine, garlic, and topped with crispy calamari. They said it was really spicy because of the Nduja but I only wanted that dish because of the squid ink pasta so they suggested getting this other seafood pasta instead. In a way, I regretted not asking if they could just replace it with squid ink pasta for the other dish. Anyway, also had this other buccatini dish which was also in a tomato based sauce. Overall, I felt that both pastas tasted really similar as the tomato base was the same. Apart from that, it was a really nice restaurant and the ambiance and setting was good.

Very nice Italian with friendly staff and excellent food. This restaurant usually gets very busy and it's highly recommended to book. The lunchtime menu offers a good value set price. The full menu has a large range and it's all reasonably priced. Parking is in the nearby town centre car parks.
