I recently won a Latte Art masterclass at the cafe with Head Barista Nathan Cooper. What a fantastic experience. Nathan is an excellent, patient tutor with wealth f knowledge about all things coffee! He immediately made me feel at ease and I had a great time having a go at practising different creations. Nathan also showed me some of his artistic work, including a pegasus design. Thank you so much! I never realised there was so much skill in creating beautiful latte art designs.

Really lovely cafe. We decided to give it another go after a bad experience when they first opened and so glad we did. The food was delicious and the staff are so friendly. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day with family. The ice cream is to die for. This will definitely be our new go-to spot!

We were a party of 12 and all our food arrived at the table at the same time. The menu was varied and accommodated a wide variety of personal tastes. We were mostly appreciative of the attitude of the staff. They were very friendly and helpful efficient and quick to respond to individual requests. Sitting outside in the shade on such a hot day was perfect and we all really enjoyed our time. Thank you.

Grabbing the last few bits for school before the new year started, so we treated ourselves to a late breakfast. Always fancied trying here, but never gotten around to it. Now I’m questioning all of my past decisions. This place was excellent. Attentive but not overbearing staff, great coffee and the food was spot on. I went for the chorizo hash, my daughter the sweet and salty, and of course she needed extra hash browns (which I had half of). Chorizo hash was filling, no greasy. Potatoes could have been browned a bit more, but that’s the pickiest I can get. The sweet and salty bacon was delicious, and my daughter finished every bite. The hash browns were spiced and herby, sweet and moreish. Worth every penny and I can’t see myself wanting to go anywhere else.

This cafe is definitely the best in the area. Outstandingly good coffee, and delicious authentic Italisn gelato ice cream in an interesting range of flavours - key lime pie and ginger being my favourite. The staff are passionate and knowledgeable about their products. Lovely environment too. I moved here from London in 1998 when there were no decent coffee shops around. A really welcome addition to the town, for my Saturday morning latte and take home tub of gelato.

We've visited here twice and it's OK. Best bits: comfy seating, quality decor, a good atmosphere, and friendly staff. The menu is a bit different from other cafes in Ashford, and that's refreshing. However, I love a rich chocolaty mocha, and I find the ones here to be lacking in sweet milky chocolate - they aren't sweet. (But that's just my taste) I've had the cheese, ham and lettuce focaccia sandwich and fine but it was quite dry i.e. it needed mayonnaise or something else to make it tasty. I've also had the brie, bacon and red onion on sourdough which was better. The cake is good but it is £4 for quite a small slice. I want to keep trying the food here as the mushrooms on toast sound delicious.

Wow the quality of the food is so good- I had a breakfast whilst my mum had a sandwich - I have not had such nice dinning experience in a long time- highly recommend the service was very good, food came quick and was so incredibly fresh and tasty.

We turned up with a large group, the day after a wedding. The team seated us with no issues, and even accommodated our friend’s dogs so they didn’t have to sit in the car on a hot day. Prompt service of around 15 full English breakfasts and an assortment of drinks - all with a smile and very quickly. Food was lovely too! If I lived locally, I’d be back abain sooner!

Ok, I’m not one to rave about places which don’t deserve it. Had the Chorizo and Potatoes with eggs for brunch (2 days in a row). I can’t say enough (in case the 2 days in a row) just how good this is! Ok £10.50 sounds steep but go to a greasy spoon in town and see if you get change from £10. Really well done, perfect eggs and the potatoes are to die for. Might sound a bit out there if you’re in the mood for a fry up (which incidentally they do at the same price) but this hits spots you might not even have known that you have. A total must-try. Coffees arrive at the prefect temperature, great beans and expertly made. Bonus that the barista is a bit of a foam artist, but this coffee could be served in a chipped mug and it would still be good. The place itself is really really chilled, high ceilings, lovely comfortable chairs and just tastefully done. Atmosphere wise, yesterday there was a close by table who had a dog and further a family with toddlers. Somehow the acoustics are really forgiving and the place manages to stay really restful and calm. Really great background music choices, nice mix of funky tracks played at exactly the right volume to give atmosphere but not drown out conversation or stop me reading my book. Finally, the service staff are effortlessly professional and friendly. A real credit to the place and the icing on what is already a fairly fantastic cake. If you’re after a chill breakfast, lunch or afternoon coffee (they do some amazing looking ice cream but I did not venture there) and you’re in Ashford, you are really really missing out of you don’t drop by here…

Love this place! It's just across the road from my work and it's a firm favourite with many of us for coffee cake and food for eat in or takeaway. Breakfast is brilliant, and large portions. Great coffee and cake. They cater for allergies with alternative milks and vegan cakes that actually taste good!

We visited this up market cafe for brunch on a Sunday. A small queue had formed by 11.30am and we were told it might be 30 mins before a table came free. In fact we were seated after 15 minutes and it was so worth the wait. The interior is beautifully decorated with a trellis ceiling, hanging plants, real carved wooden tables and an open galley kitchen. The freshly squeezed orange juice is the real deal and the coffee was great quality. We enjoyed the ‘Fully English’ (Bacon rashers, Cumberland sausage, eggs your way, roasted cherry tomatoes on the vine, Portobello mushrooms, sourdough toast) and the smoked salmon with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce on toasted brioche bread. The food was excellent and beautifully presented with good quality ingredients. The staff were all really friendly. This is a little gem and we will most definitely be returning.

We met family for the first time in this cafe for drinks - I had to resist the flavoured ice-cream selection and tempting cakes because we'd eaten elsewhere. Great atmosphere, helpful staff, definite intention to return soon!

I've been meaning to visit for a while now and it was worth the wait! Friendly service as soon as I walked in, really nice atmosphere and lovely decor. I opted for the Fully English with their homemade hash browns which didn't disappoint, you can really tell the eggs they use are of high quality when you see and taste the runny yolk, delicious! The coffee is amazing, the latte i had was just perfect and beautifully presented, I've seen photos on social media but you need to go their yourself to experience it, you can really tell the barista has spent time working on their craft! Unfortunately, I didn't have enough room for some cakes or gelato but will definitely be returning as this is my new go to cafe in ashford, honestly a class above the rest

We were over from Northern Ireland visiting a friend in the Ashford area and whilst out for a walk discovered Leo & Sage. It was between lunch & dinner time so decided we’d pop in for a coffee and perhaps something sweet. We were welcomed from the moment we came through the door with a super friendly, smiling girl, who reminded us of our daughter. We both had flat white’s the quality of the coffee is excellent and its flavour, temperature and presentation was fantastic. We shared a carrot cake and it was divine. (Highly recommend!) We had a look at the menu and were determined to return the following day for brunch. We brought our friends with us; 2 people had the Potato & Chorizo Hash and 2 had the Smoked Salmon (1 of which asked for a sausage on the side). Everything was cooked to perfection and we and we all thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. I wish I had enough room to have sampled something else from the wide range of baked goods. If you are looking for excellent food, superb coffee, friendly, welcoming staff and great service then this is the place for you. Not forgetting the funky surroundings and the calm relaxing atmosphere, making it a fun place to hang out. It will certainly be a place we return to when next in the area, for now we are glad to have introduced our friends to it so that they can enjoy it.

Lovely new little cafe but a little cold inside. Chai latte was beautiful, unfortunately cannot comment on the food as the waitress forgot to put our order through. Had to leave after waiting 45 minutes with a very hungry toddler.

I felt like this lovely little tea room deserved a trip advisor listing of its own. It is 5* just like it’s sister tea room, but a lot smaller. This adds to its atmosphere and it’s like stepping back in time, with the decor and music. It is quintessentially English and a really enjoyable place to stop and have a little drink and a bite to eat. They do also offer take away, which would be handy for those people working locally. Lastly the staff are also the same high standard as we have got used to in The Little Tea Pot. See you again soon and keep up the good work! You make Ashford a better place!

This is a credit to Tenterden. Lovely welcoming owners and staff. The hand made truffles are delicious. The large range of delicious bars are great for gifts for all occasions and just to treat ourselves. Would recommend calling in for coffee and and their hot chocolate is the best!

One of the best traditional family run bakeries left in Kent, no disrespect to the likes of Greggs and other corporate giant bakeries but for traditional baked goods you cannot go wrong, would highly recommend.🙂
