Fantastic staff and great food. My 10 year old daughter wanted a cocktail. So they made it without the alcohol. She was so happy. The food was cooked perfectly.

I recently visited Slug and Lettuce in Fareham, and I had a fantastic experience, largely thanks to our host, Mikey. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us warmly and ensured we felt welcomed. His attention to detail was impressive, as he promptly seated us and provided a thorough overview of the menu. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and celebrations.

Frazer was amazing! Great service, great banter and super helpful!

Mikey was our server at fareham slug. He was so friendly and attentive, always making sure we had drinks and if they were low ordering our next. Fab service!

Great service, very nice server, frazer served us and provided vert good service and fast even though the bar was kind of slow due to it being very busy.

Come in recently for bottomless brunch and was looked after by Jess and Faith. They were lovely went the extra mile to ensure our visit was perfect. The drinks were flowing, the food was amazing… next time I’m bringing more people! Thank you!

Came in to collect food but the bar staff were too busy talking with themselves to see to me, seemed the other drivers were also waiting a while

I have been to slug&lettuce in fareham a couple of times in the last month and recent the bar waiting time is dreadful even ordering on the app was not much better I hate to be that guy moaning as I have worked myself in retail in the pass but the restaurant didn’t even look that busy . A regular work meet up of a big group of us will now be finding a different location

Came in with my boyfriend table for 2, We booked. We waited 50 minutes for food. Then 50 minutes for our second drink. When i went downstairs to ask how long they would be, i could see they were sat on the side the whole time i was queuing to speak to someone all while waiters toke other drinks out. While queuing at the bar the person in front of me ordered their drink and was given it in less than a minute which was annoying since we had been waiting so long. Considering we booked i think someone should have atleast warned there was nearly an hour wait for food and drink, and that if you went to the bar to get a drink you would’ve treated 10x quicker. £60 for a naff night, disappointing as the gunwarf is fab

Really disappointed to be honest , ordered vegan breakfast as per menu , no wholemeal bread and no dairy free butter , unacceptable, places today are so slap dash about value for money and customers having a great experience - I know managers who would check stock in morning and rectify shortages immediately

Nice venue and drinks however, for a Saturday evening it was lacking service. Took too long to get served. Servers were far too slow and were more interested in talking to each other than serving, even when the bar queue reached to the door. Would have happily spent more money but not only was the genral service slow but the app for table service was not working. Not in a hurry to go back.

When the food served makes you get up and leave a restaurant it's fair to say it's disappointing. It's the worst I've had from a Slug and Lettuce. Definitely would not recommend going to this particular restaurant

After being ejected from Weatherspoon’s because we had a dog. We attempted to eat at the Slug & Lettuce. Whilst the doors were wide open and despite approaching 11.30 I could not raise any staff member to ask if dogs are allowed! So obtained a Subway. As a Fareham resident for more than 50 years. I can understand why West Street is dying. To leave the car park to transverse the A32/A27 is a nightmare. Not to be repeated anytime soon.

Firstly, we were only brought 1 set of cutlery when there was clearly 2 of us. Nacho starter came out missing avocado and sour cream. When mains came out we asked for salt. It didn't appear, my husband went to to bar to get the salt so our dinners were cold the time we ate them Definitely wouldn't recommend
