This Costa unit is located in the lobby of the cinema "Odeon" has a wonderful view of the embankment. It was a rather gloomy, rainy and unwelcoming morning on 22nd August 2024, but a coffee from a nice red-haired barista at Costa Coffee changed my day for the better. Thank you.

We had a celebratory lunch here with some friends. The quality of the food is very good and the service was excellent. I would not say this is particularly good value for money more a special occasion than a pub regular. It was very busy whilst we were there which is a good indication of how good it is but a table had a dog that was constantly barking all through our meal which really spoilt the occasion.

Beer cloudy as it was the first pint pulled but was changed with an apology. Pint glass tankard is a bonus unlike the Noman Wisdom in Deal that has only half Pint ones. Overall nice friendly pub.

Food was cold, sub was burnt but contents were cold. Delivery took additional 45 minutes to what was stated when order was placed. Would avoid at all costs

Expensive drinks, and patrons loved bellowing at nothing. Staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was pretty good.

A tradition from when I was much younger. Food tastes exactly the same as I remember it. It's not cheap, but it is freshly cooked.

Had our Christmas get together here today. Booking was easy. Lovely table near fire. The food was 100% - Christmas Turkey meal and fish. Well presented and tasty.mulled Wine available. Staff attentive and friendly no rush to get out. Second time here just as good both times.

We had a extremely happy Christmas Afternoon Tea. The food was very tasty and the Staff extremely helpful and friendly. The table for 15 was laid out with white cloths and napkins and looked very festive.

Very happy with our trip this morning. Food was served in under 10 minutes, staff friendly and on the ball. Enjoyed our food and drinks. Seems like they have now moved to all counter service which speeds up the process. I would definitely recommend giving this place a chance.
