Costa Coffee in Rushmoor

Understaffed for the time of year so the queue was huge. Seats were dirty so we asked for a cloth and the lady gave us a smelly damp dish cloth, I told her I couldn't use this and she told me to find another table to sit at. Coffee was as Costa is, always really good, esp the gingerbread special Christmas one.

Yet again this Costa has managed to provide a dreadful service. Chairs covered in food, spills and crumbs. The drink I asked to be extra hot was tepid at best. The staff seem disinterested and disengaged. For a huge national chain they maybe feel that they don't have to try!

Does the job for a quick pit stop through mad rush Christmas shopping! Lovely, fresh, hot festive coffee. Friendly, efficient service. Gingerbread and cream latte was lovely. Food as expected, cooked toastie - tasty and "filled a hole."

I visited this costa today on my lunch break to pick up a coffee for me and my colleague with the 50p anniversary deal. As expected there was a hell of a wait, but with all hot drinks 50p and only two members of staff working all day I really can’t blame them! The two boys working behind the till were operating at 100 miles an hour, prepping drinks not only for the queue but for ubereats deliveries too. They still managed to have a very positive attitude and I had a great time chatting to them while waiting for my drinks. Assets to the company for sure!

Only good things to say post covid. Service friendly, and generally clean. Can take a bit of time to be served depending on the queue. If you time it right no problems. Covid has changed the world we live in and the way we eat and drink out. A neighbouring table that sat beside my daughter and I were shall I say ‘discussing’ slowness due the queue size and that it was unacceptable. Working in hospitality myself I bit my tongue as there is bigger things to worry about in the world then queuing to order a coffee when your retired and in no rush to get away to do your weekly grocery shop. Of the many Costa’s locally this place is by far the best, convenient location, friendly service and great coffee & food.

Most of the staff are pleasant, some don’t talk and are quite rude but I put that down to being a very busy location, and them trying to work through the queue quickly. Seating needs updating, a reshuffle. Coffee is good of course.

The staff didn’t really listen to me when I was ordering. The coffee tasted like water it was so diluted. There was no clean tables and minimal fresh cakes in the container. Behind the container was messy and the staff were run off their feet but sloppy whilst they tried to be organised.

On a Saturday morning, it;s hard to find a table to sit by. Not enough tables in the sitting area. The coffee, the pastries and sandwiches, are better than in Starbucks- both in variety and taste.

Stopped today for a quick bite to eat. Order was taken quickly and friendly. However the small sign by the till with a lunch time offer is just that very small you could miss it! Not too many tables but were all clean which doesn't always happen at this establishment as been a few times. Service can be a little slow at times but ok today. Always served good coffee/tea/hot chocolate and baby chinos which are free.

Popped in for quick coffee and cake not bad bit expensive not many tables free staff friendly and welcoming will go here again

I have been here a number of times as it is in the town centre and the service is very hit and miss. Some days it's great and the staff are lovely, other days you get staff that are rude and slow, get your orders wrong and make you feel bad for it. Queues can get very long in here. Coffee is good when it's all going ok and the cakes are yummy

Located inside the Meads main concourse area the coffee shop feels bright and airy due to the mall’s high glass ceiling and the open plan layout - it can get a bit warm during summer months but there are umbrellas on some of the tables. There’s plenty fo seating although some of the chairs are getting past their prime. Staff are always cheerful and they keep tables cleared and cleaned. Counter area is on the small side but queues are usually quick to disapate.

Visited Costa in Farnborough princes Mead on Sunday 5th August 2018. Panini was cold due to being sat on the side for so long. Ordered a cold drink, it didn’t arrive. I went to the cashier and said I didn’t get my drink and wanted a refund. Got an apology and my refund, but no offer of a free upgrade to a large drink. Service was slow, guy making the cold drinks seemed in a daze and a flap. Service was a bit slow. To think, my username is ‘Now a Costa customer’ , very ironic. Unless the service picks up i will be changing it to something else !!

Went for coffee today ( Sunday) we had to wait 20 minutes to be served, we had to clear away a table before we could sit down and they had run out of clean cups, so we had to have cardboard cups .... poor show, this is the second time we have had a similar experience.... they really aren’t getting it right here...... shame as the staff work hard , but there is a lack of senior , mature oversight......

My mum went to the Costa Coffee today at Farnborough with her friend. She said "Matt served them" and he was excellent. Matt was very polite, officiant and made them great smoothies. She said would reccomend going.

Visit this Costa every time We are in Farnborough as service always good, staff are good and always very busy.

Esta es la tercera vez en cuestión de semanas he estado aquí y que no recibimos lo que pedimos. Hoy no fue la excepción, pero el añadido 'prima' era que la chica que servía pareció muy divertido. No necesitan capacitación en y pedir perdón y no reírse de la gente. Ella hecho lo mismo al chico detrás de mí en la cola. Luego tomó 10 minutos para la copa porque estaban charlando.

Always a great coffee, well done team; nice cakes and biccies, if a bit pricey; but worth a treat now and then. :-)

Me gusta aquí, creo. Hay mucho espacio, aunque algunas de las sillas que se tienen mesas para sentarse en como imposible que están demasiado cerca de otras mesas. El café está siempre bien hecho, pero me parece que tengo que pedir más caliente, de lo contrario no estar caliente para largo. El personal siempre es amable, pero deben limpiar las mesas más rápidamente ya que a menudo tienen que hacerlo yo mismo. Así que, aunque me gusta que aquí hay espacio para mejorar.

A convenient location to get a decent coffee in Farnborough. Majority of the time is quick and efficient. The only negative is that it seems to a while for the tables to be cleared from previous customers.

Una buena cafetería dentro del centro comercial de Princess mead en Farnborough. Costa Coffee con cafés típicos. También tuve un panini y una magdalena que estaba muy sabroso.

A good location for this Costa coffee. In the centre of the shopping centre, plenty of helpful staff. Lots of seating areas.

Service was very good, plenty of seating, staff constantlyclearing and cleaning tables. Coffee usual high Costa Standard.

As with most Costa Coffee's this place is a little heavy on price for me but that's the chain! Coffee and cakes OK. This is nice because it is in the open part of the main Centre.

I have been here several times and always when I am shopping in Farnborough.It has a great location inside the main shopping area and next to Burger king.So a nice place to meet up with friends.It has become very busy in there and you have to queque up to place your order and then wait for your tray to be assembled.This was the bit that i did not like as the service was slow.We had the toasted sandwiches and they were just ok.The capacchino was nice but there was too much chocolate on the top.What I found was that there were newspapers around for whoever wanted to read them.Not sure if they were provided by them or if the customers had left them behind.All in all a good coffee place but a bit expensive.

Located downstairs in the undercover shopping centre this is one of the better Costa coffee shops in my experience. Although the area is small you don't feel too cramped as it's open format without walls making you feel hemmed in. Queues at the counter can be a nuisance but at least getting a seat is usually not a problem even at busy times. Staff do their best to keep the counter queue moving and are constantly clearing and cleaning tables. I'm not a fan of Costa food offerings and so normally stick to just a hot drink.

I've been visiting this coffee shop for years now. I head there most weekday lunchtimes when I walk into Farnborough from the office (often with a work colleague), and we get our large cappuccinos. The coffee has always been very good, the staff friendly and chatty, and it's a pleasant lunchtime break from the office environment. I also occasionally visit on a Saturday with my girlfriend, if we happen to be in town, and its a different crowd and often different staff but still just as good.Sadly, since the office I work in is closing now, and I will now be working near Winchester, I will not be heading into Farnborough now (except maybe the rare weekend), so I doubt I will be a visitor there much from now on, but I would recommend the place to anyone who likes Costa Coffee.NOTE:These comments are about the Costa Coffee in the Princes Mead shopping centre in the middle of Farnborough (Hampshire). That should be obvious, but yet again, some of the other comments here seem to name a different place (e.g. Blackwater, which is another place entirely).

Costa's is altijd goed voor een koffie !De cakes en muffins zijn echt Engels en als je er van houdt heb je ruime keuze ! De terras setting in Meadows is gezellig !

A solo coffee stop at the Blackwater Shopping Centre Costa Coffee. On the way to work but traffic was really light so I had time for a quick pit stop. The place was full ... but totally silent. Everyone had heads down, tapping away, cables trailing everywhere, coffee slurping, big business was going on but not a single conversation. Soul-less. Empty.It made me sad. To think that our nation has become so reliant on technology that even a simple "good morning" to a fellow coffee drinker was denied. No banter. No chat. I felt unimportant.Coffee consumed, I quietly left .... my passing unnoticed. I mourn for conversation, witty banter, music in the background over a hubbub of conversation .... real conversation! Not business deals ... holidays, weekend antics, the kids, the mother in law, him/her indoors ....... The list goes on. Except it doesn't.

As the title says there was nothing disappointing about this Costa Coffee whatsoever. Everything you expect to see :)

I visited for a catch up with friends. Coffee was amazing.The food was poor, dry, even the wrong order was given to us. The staff lacked attention and service was poor. It felt like I was with market traders. Not enough seating you have to be fast to find a seat.I am a fan of Costa however we won't be returning to this branch.

costa coffee is pleasant to stop in the middle of shopping, to refuel .However, the choice of snacks is limited and pricey. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere is as one would expect for a 'drop in' rest.

Large indoor space right in the shopping centre, ideal if it's raining; good coffee and toasted sandwiches. Friendly staff, tables kept clear and clean.

although another coffee chain has recently opened up in the precinct this is still one of the best coffee shops and costas ive been to. the staff are always friendly and helpful, they even serve you right up until the till cuts them off on a sunday when im sure they just want to go home ! if you ask for your drinks or toasties a certain way they always do it to the letter and with a smile. we worth a visit if your shopping and need a coffee, good amount of seating and always kept clean and tidy by the staff.

I don't drink coffee but my daughter and her friends do and they drink alot of Costa coffee. I drink tea and they service a great tea as well. There muffins and cakes are really good too!

I take my children here regularly, as they love the chocolate babycinos! The staff are always friendly no matter how busy it is. They regularly cha he their menu so it doesn't get boring.

I am always pleased to visit Costa Coffee as the coffee is really well produced and they always have soya milk.

Have tried to spend quality time at this particular costa at Locksbottom near Farnborough, a few times before going into work at the hospital around the corner, it increasingly infuriates me to see the same men, taking all the papers and keeping them unread on the table. Three tables are often 'reserved' by removing food from the food cabinets and then placing on the the tables to make it look like people are sitting there. When their colleague/s arrive the food is then placed back into the chiller cabinet. I am not sure this is the most hygenic of ways to move food around. Two fruit choices were kept on the front table today for over 40mins in the sun and then replaced back into the chiller cabinet. Why should a group of men have the monopoly on who sits where at this costa?

Farnborough is such a small place and once you arrive whether it is on Business or pleasure, it can be difficult to find somewhere that is half decent to sit and have a coffee and a sandwich.So my advice is to head straight to costa, it's pretty new and modern and right in the centre near the supermarket.Me and my mum walked around the whole of Farnborough and after walking through the entire mall this is the best place to go.Enjoy :-)

The Costa inside the Farnborough shopping centre is easy to find and always serves consistently good drinks. Fast service too. Not a good place to relax though - always very noisy and big queues at Lunchtime (not that this should be a surprise).

Very clean and tidy. Served good coffee and tea. Breakfast bun was a bit dry. Staff were helpful, friendly and smiled.

i pop into my local costa frequently, the staff are attentive and polite. The coffee is nice although it can vary at times depending on which barista makes it. All said it is what it is... Reliable and consisently good. I much prefer it to neros.

This is the nicest Costa in the area. There is plenty of room without being made to sit right next to other customers, the spaces between the tables being about right. The staff are friendly and efficient. It is very popular so there can be a queue at times, but not excessive. The coffee is mostly just right, but sometimes it could be hotter, much like most coffee shops. I now ask for extra hot as that is about right. The food is limited to typical coffee shop rolls, pannini's and cakes etc and it can be a time to get it heated up, but good otherwise. Overall, one of the best coffee shops in the Rushmoor area.

Took my niece here for a quick coffee...The queue was very long... Even though there was about 3/4 memebers of staff aboutit took ages to get to the front.The counter is very cluttered and untidy which didnt seem to help matters.The staff were friendly though so couldnt fault that.
