Had lovely meal in there with friends before rock Réunion. Definitely eat there again well worth money.

It's a Spoons, so you know there's going to be folk in there who've been propping up the bar since breakfast, etc etc, but the food is good and served by staff who take pride in what they're doing no matter how minimum the wage or what a **** their ultimate boss is. Only let down by occasional menu issues and pricing glitches, but never ultimately been disappointed here compared with some others in the chain that one might frankly have expected better from given their relative locations.

Tidy clean straightforward place nice .

Hi me and husbands breakfast we unfortunately couldn't eat it , the mushroom was half cooked and cold , tomato was hard and cold all there was on it was just grilled marks, the hash brown was hard and under cooked and cold , also we asked for fried eggs and got over cooked scrambled eggs , they wouldn't take it back unfortunately so we ended up leaving it and having to go somewhere else for breakfast.

If the rest of Aldershot followed the example of this place as to what you do if you put your mind to it, then who knows 👍

You just can not beat a Wetherspoons for great value and one that is local is even better. Food is good, great drink and great frendly staff.

Good service, but there was a dude who was trying to sleep with everyone. Got kicked out eventually.

We had a really good time steak was great and Quinn behind the bar really knows her job she made us feel very welcome.

Nice looking wetherspoons. Only popped in for food, so dont know what the hotel bit is like. The 2 staff we interacted with were very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, like 99% of wetherspoons, the breakfast came out warm and not hot but still good price for a big meal.

Cleanest weatherspoons I've been in for a long time

What a disappointment. Had the porridge, it used to be Moma's porridge which was really nice. Now it is a not. What we were had was not cooked, it appeared to just have had hot water on it.

Perfectly serviceable place to have a drink & call a taxi from after a visit to Princes Hall, not too busy on a Friday night and pleasant staff.

What appeared to be an incoherent drunk was being served alcohol yesterday lunchtime (21.10.23) Needs more staff as service slow. Very little meat in chicken curry but good flavour. Brekky lukewarm. Have seen staff wearing cameras like cops. On a recent visit security kicked out my pal for no reason (saying they were drunk)

Typical Wetherspoons, decent food decent drinks. Food was brought out but items were forgotten, had to chase them. Dishes were not cleared for a while after finishing. Decent night all in all

Very bad service from Beth (and her colleague was not able to rectify the issue). Short measure of beer served "because it's Belgian beer it's served with a head". Will be informing Rushmoor Trading Standards

Firstly I did not stay in the hotel but used the weatherspoons. As expected the sports was on and the bar was busy but not packed. I used the app to order all my drinks and I did not have to wait long. 🙃 Most of the staff were nice and friendly but once we moved inside our table had plates on it from the previous people all night. And they never got removed. We did ask one waiter but he said he was not bothered. One of the benches outside was about to collapse. If you have a designated driver you can park at Morrison's carpark after 1700 with no maximum stay. So apart from the few faults above on this visit it was a good atmosphere and a good night. 👍

Having witnessed the actions of the manager at this weatherspoons I shall not be returning and I was a fairly regular customer but no more. An extremist Christian was allowed to preach within the restaurant with a huge wooden cross, actually quite frightening as could easily be a strong weapon and a group of elderly people who were trying to enjoy a quiet meal asked this guy to quieten down but he refused. He shouted more and in fact I’ve seen him preach in this pub before with no reprimand, however this time the manager was more concerned with the people who asked for the preacher to be quiet and that they wished to have a meal in peace. One elderly gentleman got so wound up he looked very ill and yet the manager deemed it more important to keep the preacher within the pub, allowed to preach as he stated people can preach on the street so they can in my pub! Well not my pub as I don’t go to a pub to hear a madman shouting about religion especially a new Christian who thinks he knows it all and especially a man who is so threatening and aggressive. I and my family and friends go to a pub for peace, connection, chat, laughter and to enjoy a meal and a drink. If this manager wishes to have preachers in his pub to distress customers, frighten customers and deem this to be absolutely fine and reprimand people who simply want to enjoy a meal then no thank you we will go elsewhere. Avoid this pub if you want to enjoy a meal, enjoy a chat, enjoy some quality time. There are some lovely pubs in Aldershot and ones with managers that care about their customers and not a madman who wants to ruin peoples evenings out.

Very quick service and good food. Went there for breakfast, walked in at 9.30am and left at 9.50am having had my breakfast inbetween!

Always come here for breakfast. Bacon is the best weatherspoons bacon in the area. Andrew at the bar is always very helpful in a Saturday morning. Always stocked up on oat milk as well which is amazing!

Had a sirloin steak. Not great. Ordered ice cream with chocolate sauce. Arrives with no sauce. When I ask about it ,they say ' sorry we don't have any'

Typical Wetherspoons but carpet is quite boring

Food is good at this price point and was served quickly the portions are a good size. The guest real ales are all very good and had been clearly well looked after. From ordering to drinks on the table on a Bank Holiday afternoon was 7 minutes the pub was busy, so great service.

No sir con or fan in the room. Poor customer service. No one answered on the reception desk via the room service phone.

The food was fine but I wish the staff would wipe the bar now and then. It was drenched with drink spillage. The floor at the bar was incredibly sticky too, not pleasant. My visit was 5 September evening.

Ate here as a family of 8 adultsand2 children under 2.. Service was okay. The food was okay. Whilst saying goodbye to a couple of the party, our unfinished drinks were cleared away!

Pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much in Aldershot, however I was greeted my a fairly smart looking Wetherspoons on the edge of town. Certainly one of the better branches around this area. Orfered BBQ burger and a Strongbow Dark Fruits. No issues with either. Friendly staff service too.

Very good prices for the quality of food and drink. Fab service and very quick. Placed our order on the app, drinks arrived within 5 minutes and food within 20 during peak times on a Saturday which was a pleasant surprise. Facilities were very clean and staff very helpful. Brilliant Spoons!

I stayed over in aldershot on a business trip with a couple of work colleagues. We decided on jd weatherspoons for a couple of drinks and I'm glad we did. It's very close to shops and fast food outlets, the pub itself has a lovely atmosphere and I have to give compliments to the team that work here nothing is a bother for them especially the young lady behind the bar. Shaunie if I remember rightly she made us feel very welcome from the off. I would definitely recommend based off this and I'll be sure to pay another visit when back down that way A*

This is not a review about the hotel. I dropped in to Wetherspoons for breakfast last Saturday. I am usually a Sunday breakfast customer as Wetherspoons is the only establishment that is open early enough (8am) to allow me to set out early to hit the motorways. Experience has taught me not to expect much. Mind you, I am not paying much either. However, hats off to the Saturday crew. Ordering was easy, breakfast came quickly, service was friendly and to my utmost surprise, given previous experience, the breakfast was piping hot. At the similar establishment in Stratford-upon-Avon the breakfast has never got above an almost acceptable warm. So well done folks. The price, well, the second largest breakfast with extra black pudding and refillable coffee came to just over a laughable £7. Will I be back. Yes, of course. 3× for location. It is Aldershot town centre 🙂

Third time I have stayed and always fantastic, a wonderful big room and bathroom this time , very quiet and had a wonderful stay again and staff wonderful , room amazing , drinks in beer garden and overall fabulous

Well....l arrived sunday 25th June .. l find this hotel friendly .... cleanliness is excellent .. always ready to improve ....the staff were genuinely helpful and friendly .. my room had a double bed.. it was spacious and comfortable ... the shower was brillant . So easy to manage .. the safety tips in the bathroom were excellent ....the bath mat for the floor etc... the helpfulness of the staff l cannot say l met one person who wasnt friendly .. the outside garden area has a smokeing and non smokeing area.. and there was a lovely view of the park from my room .. the food is plentiful and tasty .. a wide range of drinks to chose from too .. especially beers.. noise levels low too. Great place for food and an ale

Good hotel and good food & ale choices. Helpful staff. Easy busride to Guildford, 40mins ride.

Pop in now and again for breakfast and a pint of cider. Always a good quality breakfast and at a very good price. The staff at this particular weatherspoons seem to be always happy and friendly.

We went there to grab some drinks around 11 but the female staff at the bar refused to serve us as they were supposedly closing after 45 mins which is fair but 2 guys who went in after us were not turned down. This is the 3rd time something like this occurred. I am deeply disappointed this time around so I’m leaving this review here. I feel more than disgusted to know these kind of racism still exist in 2023!

Food was good value and came out quickly so great from the kitchen side! The bar staff and waiting staff a tad slow and disinterested in what’s happening, some seemed to be more interested in cuddling the argumentative couples whilst swearing alongside them. Good entertainment provided from the locals about current affairs and relationship woes. Good food, iffy atmosphere.

Popped in for a steak. Steak Was cooked just how I liked it. Drinks came out with in 5 mins. And food followed 15 mins after. Friendly staff. I was very impressed. Would definitely come back. Highly recommend.. ((Only thing that could do with improving is the menus and table was sticky))

Called in with friends and family before we went to see Top Gun Maverick. Wetherspoons is always so popular and prices are very keen. We enjoy having a few drinks and not having to spend an absolute fortune to do it. Excellent service, great location and nice beer garden.

Manager ill treated myself and my friend we are both in our 70s and had not been in this place for over 6 months..whilst stood at the bar the manager approached us and told us to leave stating in no uncertain terms that I would not be served as I was barred from here and every pub in Guildford.it was extremely upsetting and to date I have been unable to get a response from them

The Table was So dirty we tried to clean it with Anti bacterial wipes from the baby’s bag they turned brown we had to leave this place is disgusting and I will never return. Hygiene rating of 0 should be given avoid at all costs

Not very pleasant experience. I used the app and after ordering food two of us I had to wait for my pizza 40 minutes. Unfortunately, despite the long wait not even the drink was given to me earlier and I had to ask for it. The pizza was completely undercooked what even extended the wait for food. When I made a complaint about the pizza the weiter asked me if I don't mind if they just stick the same pizza on an oven for longer. Nothing was offered to us for the bad service. I eventually received my food after more than an hour since it was ordered.

My son booked up for us to join him at JD Wetherspoons to have a meal and drink before we went to the cinema. What a great choice this place is and very popular. We found a table without booking in advance and my son using his app ordered up a round of drinks. The drinks were at table 23 in less than 5 minutes which is great service. We then had three mains which also included another alcoholic drink or a soft drink and the price reflected either of the options. To think I had for my evening meal the all day breakfast, two sausages, bacon, two eggs, baked beans and chips with a pint of San Miguel for under £9 was simply amazing. Our son had a mixed grill with a drink which was slightly more expensive. My wife had a burger and chips with a drink which the cheapest meal of the three. All the meals were delivered very promptly by two waitresses. The food was superb and absolutely brilliant value. We really could not fault one thing. We had arrived by 6pm and when we left at 7:30pm there was not a spare table to be seen which just shows how terrific the food/drinks are at this place. We would certainly eat here again without any hesitation the next time we are in Aldershot. Thank you.

As always, the weatherspoons breakfast was great. Can't make changes by the app but asking staff to swap tomato for hash brown is no problem. There's a TV screen to search for allergens which is helpful. Superb vale. Pizza is also great value. TV is always on BBC news with terrible reception? Why?switch to gb news or ceefax.

Visited spoons a few times to see friends for a few beers. Will be glad when hopefully things get back to normal and you can go to the bar and get your beer your self. Great deal on unlimited tea or coffee for 99pence.Good menu to select from as well at very affordable prices. Been to a few different spoons great value what more can I say

Having just stopped working in a pub due to closure. And being pretty sure of all the new rules I don’t know if spoons have their own or if somethings changed. But went here twice in the last week. The first time was normal and ordered drinks which came then ordered food which came. Each time we ordered a drink we had a different member of staff come and go over the rules. Got a bit tedious but I know they are only doing their job. The bit that baffled me was going there on Friday night. Ordered drinks and told we couldn’t have them until the food was on the table. Some staff are really on it. A few really couldn’t care less. Saw a table leave and a lad clear the glasses then go and carry food without washing his hands and the table wasn’t cleaned before the next group came and sat down. And there are clearly no guidelines now on single households as groups of guys coming into the pub. It all seems a bit hit and miss.

Went in for breakfast to celebrate the kids being back to school. Set up was good for distancing we ordered easily via the app and the food came out quickly.

Cheap but very decent food and drink. There needs to be more seating as it always seems overcrowded.

Large bar large garden hotel above as well which is a Wetherspoons hotel probably would be quite loud from the noise of the pub but centrally located and cheap as chips

Currently here for a week and enjoying breakfast daily. We had dinner last night and the queueing/distancing was pretty well managed (only spoilt by idiots jamming the entrance). Staff are highly diligent and food standards are maintained. Thanks to all - see you tomorrow.

Came for a meal with the family and we were pleasantly surprised. The quality of food seems far superior to what it was previously. Staff were friendly and good to see the safety measures in place.

Stayed here for 1 night. Enjoyed lots of drinks in the evening, very easy to order through the app. In fact, drinks actually came to the table quicker than waiting at the bar.Very busy as it was a saturday night, but food came in good time. The 3 plates for £10.25 were all very yummy, tried the pizzas, king prawns, chicken, halloumi and chips. All hot and full of flavour.Good location too, with a somewhat lively casino/pool bar a 2 minute walk down the hill and various other food places.The room was good too with a nice view. Was mostly clean, however, even in my drunken state i did notice a few hairs on the mattress and some marks on the walls. Nothing to cry about though and you get what you pay for really. Bathroom was clean though and room overall was decent. Comfy bed too.Breakfast in the morning was also very nice, had a full english and my friend had the American breakfast. Large portions and all hot, flavour full.FYI car parking is plentiful. Large roofed parking just down the road or a smaller outdoor car park closer to the hotel. All pay and display, but cheap as chips! Will definately come again, cheap, cheerful and a good night!

Always a good place for a catch up or a boozy lunch or a quiet hung over breakfast or hen do Prep breakfast!!!! Would benefit from some music maybe on a Friday Saturday night to keep the punters in a bit Longer x

Absolutely shocking service via the app. Ordered 2 rounds of 4 shots. They never turned up. Showed the staff the receipt and they said they'd been delivered to a different table but won't reimburse or give us what we paid for. Certainly won't be using the app again and will be complaining to head office. I wonder how many other people have been ripped off like this!!!!!

Turned up at 9am after a messy night with some mates after an all nighter. Boys had fry up for had poached egg on toast. Obviously washed down with a beer for hair of the dog. (It worked🙈)

There is a good variety of choice in the food they serve, all that we had was of good quality and large enough portions. Reasonably priced, some food even comes with a drink. All food served quickly and hot. Only odd thing we had was we have a 15 year old and we were told we had to leave by 9pm because of this. Though we only had the one child in a party of 6 and she was sat with us the whole time and never went to the bar or anywhere else without an adult.

We're ever I go I always look to see if there's a witherspoons been to the Queen Hotel many times. Great value for money love there breakfast staff are always friendly. Great to meet my friends and have a few cheap pints before I go to see the shots.Rooms here are very good aswell. Will be back definitely

Three of us called in here after seeing the film "Midway". The place was fairly busy and they had three staff serving behind the bar. We were stunned to see ales etc for £1:99 per pint. If you have a drink in most pubs/bars you would not see change from £4 per pint. Anyway we had three pints for under £6 which was an amazing result. The place is warm and cosy and very spacious. We never had any food but others were and their meals looked very good. Certainly worth giving this place ago.

We mostly always go here when we have been to the cinema. It's handy and resonable pricedI must admit it can be a bit hit and miss with the food but on average the food is always good and served very quickly. The down side to Wetherspoons is it can be very noisy But if you are looking for a well priced cheap meal and most of the meals come with a free drink alcoholic or non alcoholic Plus tea and coffee is about £1 with free refils

If you're on a budget, this is the place to eat and drink. Nothing too fancy about the menu, but well-cooked and presented food and very quick service.

Food was ordered and came really quick. Cheap prices and good quality so cannot complain. A lot of variety on the menu - something for everyone. Lots of Indoor seating and a garden out the back. Staff are welcoming and happy to help.

Visited the Queen Hotel many times. Had a great breakfast as usual in wetherspoons with there great deal on unlimited tea or coffee for 1pound 50pence can't beat that. Great place to meet your friends and have a chat.

Went there for breakfast this morning I had a bacon and egg roll my other half had a sausage and bacon roll the drinks was Stella and a strongbow. All was ok and the rolls was not to bad but found a finger nail in my strongbow what was not a nice site at all will not go back there at all not a nice site.

Been here a couple of times, gets a gets busy in here and messy.... but the staff are friendly, food is cheap and so is the beer. i would recommend if your on a budget
