Good basic pub with good beer and live sport on TV. Didn't sample the food so can't comment on that !

Great manager, great pub! So much better than it used to be back in the days. Very clean and tidy, bo sticky floors and clean bathrooms. So far no1 on my list in Aldershot.

Rude bartenders, rude doormen. The doormen turning almost everyone away. Discriminating against anyone they can. Not nice at all, and certainly ruined my evening.

20/01/2024 saturday i went in just to have a quality time with my sister as i have not been out in a while. But.... i asked for a yegabomb which i usually prefer to have. But the bartender guy with (silver hair) only gave me a yega shot with like a very little amount of redbull in it which woukd not have and requested him to atleast have a little more amount of the rebull in it to match the level of the yega shot. The bartender was like that is what we give!! Honestly i work in a bar myself and i think its fair to have redbull topup to match the level of the yega shot. He literally returned back the redbull back in the fridge as i stood there wondering why he wouldn't fill up my glass. Asked me to pay instead??? And I stood there thinking what????? But seriously i was really surprised and very disappointed in that behaviour. I have always loved going george but yearerday the bartender made me feel i woukd never go there again... p.s i have never seen that bartender before in george. Had met lovely bartender there before but the experience i had yesterday was unbelievable.

Nice little place to visit on a night out with music going on.

A great addition to craft union great place for relaxing live music karaoke disco and such like and very affordable in this current time

So disappointed in this pub the last 2 years. Gone so downhill since Mo left. Been coming here for many years and dreading the new Landlord coming in, don't know the locals, good or bad! This area is rife with drug dealers and not nice people. The idea of new landlords who don't know who they will be letting in the pub will destroy it. Drug dealing, constant fighting etc! Rip The George

I have not been to this place for quite some time, but someone has ovviously gone to the trouble to make the exterior look lovely. Whenever I have attended this place, the service has been excellent. We recently attended this place and the customer service was excellent. A woman with long dark hair assisted us and made pleasant conversation. The interior of the place has changed and it looks significantly nicer.

Always a great pub. Dawn behind the bar makes my day with her witty 🔋 banter @!!!

Probably the worst pub manager i have ever come across!! I've been a regular here for many years and never seen so little of a manager! He leaves one person working the bar while he sits on his backside upstairs, if he's called upon to help out, he dissappears again after 5 mins! Lazy, arrogant and rude to his younger staff. I've sat and watched this first hand. Regulars are starting to drink elsewhere.

Terrible service forgot to cook my husband's order he waited over an hour and a half for his food. The service was non existence they need training in customer service not enough staff on for a busy Saturday afternoon we would not come back here. Forgetting to cook the food ordered is not good enough I would not recommend coming here to eat

If I could give no stars I would've. Service is absolutely abismal, served us nachos with mayonnaise as opposed to soured cream, which when mentioned they refused to apologise for and also refused a refund. This is a major violation of allergen regulations as if I'd been allergic to eggs it could have been a very different story. I will be reporting this to the necessary authority. Disgusted in the lack of concern from staff

Good atmosphere for sport, plenty of screens. Pool and darts too. Drinks and food were good value for money

A great town venue. Great food, loads of tvs for sport and a great atmosphere. If you like your sports and somewhere to meet up and watch it, this is the place.

Tried to order nachos we've been told that's the only item that's not on the menu...tried ordering garlic bread we've been told there's no cheese and bread... ordered hot wings from the bar no advisory as to how hot the wing were and now the child is crying in pain ... Asked for the volume for the match to be turned up...we can hear what other customers are saying but no match....avoid this pub!!!

Great time at The George today, able to watch the cricket while it’s on in the morning with one of the cheapest and best pints I’ve had in a long time. Thanks to Jason and Jenna for a great chat

Decent pub large pub with good bar area, loads of TVs and most importantly a sports licence. Called in to watch the England Vs Wales World Cup match. To get a table you had to book but we were able to stand and watch. Great facilities, friendly staff and a great atmosphere!

Great pub, outstanding environment but very poor customer service. I happen to find a racist and arrogant female lady who didn’t have respect for customer and denying to take suggestion. I have been to pub twice in the pub in a matter of two weeks and asked for Gin& Tonic but no lemon peace, every single time I asked for lemon, her answer was no and didn't even bother finding some. On the second day I suggested her this is my second time and you always tell that there is no lemon. I told her can we have lemon peace next time but she totally ignored me and stated behaving rudely, Which was totally unacceptable. I will never visit this pub nor recommended anyone to visit pub unless there is a bar staff with good attitude, positive mentality to care fir customer, who are mean to positive, friendly and taking suggestion from customer for their own benefits.

Me along with my friend went and ordered for a kilo of hot wings and the table we chose was reserved and we told a girl with a long hair told us chose another table we gonna serve you there and we told her we gonna stay over there in a specific table we waited but the food never arrived and I went and told how long its gonna take and a lady may be age around 50 with a black hair simply told me that the food was served someone eat your food go ask them your money I feel real bad and I was shocked with her reply. What a service wow

Nice place, staff cool,just remember this it is aldershot, so indoor entertainment normal,cheap drink, turns into a rapping disco, how times have changed.

We had a team meeting at the venue. Great food and great service. The venue was clean and tidy. Great experience and look forward to the next visit.

We've visited The George a couple of times and always had a great time. Staff are friendly and helpful. Loved the karaoke on a Thursday and the music and atmosphere was especially good on a Saturday night. Excellent pub!

The place is really nice. The ambiance is very good. Great music. Drinks are also very good here. Seating arrangement is also very good. Great place to party on weekends.

A pub and eatery in the centre of town, the beers are good but the food is the best , especially the burgers , make sure you stop by and try

I had a fantastic time at The George in Aldershot. Their food is great, the entertainment line up is fun and inviting and the staff are all welcoming and focused on great service. Kelly is a super host and Michael, one of the many barmen, always carries a smile and is service centric.

My friend and I were travelling for business and stumbled across the George on a search for a decent glass of red wine. Mike was extremely hospitable and helped with our quest. He even popped a cheeky bottle of Prosecco in the fridge to cool for our next drink

The George is a wonderful pub to visit. Great food and your favorite pint accompanied by a super entertainment line up for most nights. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly. Ask for Michael. He always wears a smile and is there to add to an already excellent atmosphere.

It's amazing place to spend time with your friends. Boss and people working there are really friendly. I highly recommend Mike as a barman and gorgeous person to talk to!.

First time in Aldershot and found myself in the George with Mike the Viking and what a great bloke very welcoming and made the night. Highly recommend

Me and my friends been there few times before. However, last night one of the bar staff refused to serve drinks , didn’t knew the reason at first.I asked him the reason for several time ,bcoz of the music and crowd i couldn’t hear him saying anything at all. Then i approached other bar staff and asked him if he knew the reason why ? He was told that the reason being, i was rude to that bar staff not saying “Please”. Well i had no words for that and decided to leave with my friends.

Came to the pub last night. Was so happy to see karaoke was on. The dj was so friendly and happy to take our requests. Also bar staff was so happy to help and was also excited when I ordered a cocktail I got told it was 2 4 1! Will defiantly be returning next week. Thanks guys for a great night

Came in yesterday evening for a drink after work, amazed by the selection of beers and surprised to see new ones just added, Moretti is going to be my new favourite I think! Was also great to see the commonwealth games on TV and made the evening very enjoyable

The food was absolutely delicious the staff was so nice and I would recommend this pub ,mo is nice👍

I came to the george on the day of their new menu launch, i was greeted at the door by Daisy and Mo. Daisy was wearing a inflatable chef costume and was very welcoming. She attended to all our needs and served our food with a smile. I have yet to come back for another lunch with the family but i look forward to when i do next.

Me and my friend always have the best time when we come to The George on a weekend.. as soon as we head to the bar, Lee hands us our usual drinks. I have also eaten here during the week with my partner and I have to say Kelly makes the best burgers!! Will definitely be back. ☺️

Really professional and they are both very welcoming, I also feel very safe and comfortable to go to them if there are any issues or problems. And always have a nice chat and laugh aswell.

Not being a person who usually eats a lunch meal and having seen an on line ad for a new menu I decided to try this pub instead of the usual fast food alternative. They had an excellent selection of meals available but I went for 3 items from the sharing menu joined by a cold soft drink. The service was great, the staff were chatty but not intrusive and I enjoyed my lunch break immensely. Would highly recommend this venue for a meal, drink or get together.

Came to watch the England International on Saturday, got the sound for the game and half time chats, really enjoyed the pub and great service from Jason recommending beers and the best screen to watch near a speaker for the best experience. Will definitely be back

My boyfriend and I were both sent home from work and needed air con! I’d seen a post on FB advertising food, sport and air con on their page and we headed straight there lol, I took my laptop to work as they have wifi. We had the loveliest breakfast burger I’ve ever had! And we ended up staying for hours as it was quite busy and my other half was happy watching the golf. The staff were so lovely and chatty, Daisy and Jenna I think they were. We’re coming back Saturday for lunch!

I ordered food which I waited nearly a hour for, this is not the problem. When I did get the food it was not hot only Luke warm. When I complained I got offered a dessert I did not want. Already waited a hour for cold food

Sports viewing is great, you can see a screen from wherever you stand, friendly staff, fantastic atmosphere.

Came in with my family of 4, nothing was too much of a bother for the staff who were so accommodating and kind with making up a table for us and checking in. Bar staff were fantastic when we were being complex with food orders just want to say thank to to all the staff and a special thank you to the bartender Jason who made up the table for us last minute

Advised food would be “up to” 30-40 mins, after 45 mins there were still 7 tables in front of us waiting, politely asked for a refund and this was refused, we had to leave to attend an event, terrible customer service

I recently had my work Christmas do at The George and I can’t recommend it enough! We had the best time! Food was great, and we took advantage of the 241 cocktails! Great atmosphere and book a booth if you can (top tip) Thanks to Mo for being so welcoming, and as if they had Santa too! So much fun

Popped in for breakfast what a love pub. So clean,the staff are really friendly and very helpful. Mo talked me through the ingredients and helped with my allergies . Would highly recommend.

Been in the pub for a couple of quiz nights and the atmosphere was really good. The staff was friendly and welcoming. 1 member of staff in particular Kirsty was really good, always makes us laugh and always enjoy seeing her there. Worth popping in just to have a laugh with her I'd say 😂
