Wonderful vibe, best food in town.

Disgusting place! A guy came out of this pub so drunk yet kept going back in & was still served more alcohol over & over again. He came back out verbally abusing passer-by’s then stood next to the bus stop where he then started smashing his empty beer bottle against the side of the bus stop which finally smashed spraying people with shards of glass! He then sat on the pavement shouting & screaming at everyone. The reason why I’m writing this is because of what happened next, a mother with a little girl were walking past when the little girl fell over cutting her hands on all the smashed glass! I tried to call the Victoria three times but the call kept going dead each time. I find it unbelievable that staff at this establishment would continue to ply someone with alcohol when they are already so intoxicated beyond belief & I blame the people running the Victoria for what happened to that poor little girl. You should be held accountable for this! In the end the police were called & the guy was arrested. Shame on you all. Maybe you need to re-train your staff to recognise when someone has had more than enough!!!

Food and drinks are amazing and the service are really good. Love the place love the vibe.

The best and busiest bar/pub in Aldershot town. Staffs are very friendly. Clean and tidy. Food is amazing. Drinks very reasonable and the only proper cocktails you can find in whole Aldershot town. Thursday Karaoke is always the best . Weekends they got lovely vibes. You can watch all live sports. They got pool table, dart games, chess, lido etc. They got private vip room just in case if you guys want to do private party function. This place is something like under all in one venue. I usually go sometimes with my family. It’s family friendly as well. The only place in Aldershot town where you can find all mixed race people. Everyone is treated equally fantastic service. Highly recommended place to be in Aldershot. I only go in this bar/pub every time.

This is not a pub anymore, It has become a night club. Too much room for malicious activities and more sexual sedations. Poorly run business now.

It’s a shame this Pub owners don’t take a bit more pride in cleaning their Pub. Food is OK at best. Beer is great and a fair price, and always great quality. The Smoking area is absolutely diabolical, disgusting. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. This lets otherwise a fairly decent Pub down.

Advertised showing the six nations, had it on for the first half, staff turned it over at half time and refused to turn it back. Not reliable.

I used to be a regular here. Overall it’s an alright pub. Always lively when I go and a variety of music being played. Bouncers are okay at times, but other times they can be rude. The bar staff are lovely and drinks are a reasonable price.

Popped in on a Sunday afternoon , within 15 minutes I was intimidated by a drunk man then we left due to 2 very drunk men arguing !! Was going to order food but due to vaping allowed on premises put us right of .

First time popped in today while In aldershot.. threatened by a male as he was absolutely wasted ! Vaping allowed on premises which not pleasant while trying to eat !! Not my kinda place at all !!

Went out on a Saturday night to the Victoria. It was empty with no atmosphere. I'm not even sure if they're lgbtq-friendly. The staff were absolutely lovely. Maybe it was just that Saturday night.

Nice enough. Could do with a better selection of drinks and a less gawdy looking outside area. Every now and then security seems unnecessarily tight. Reasonable prices though, friendly bar staff, and multiple screens showing sports.

Don't like what they done to smoking room and food was good but 30 min to bring it out bit slow , I have to say it was nice and I would go back again ... was early maybe they didn't have the pans heated up 😉 I'll update my review if it's better next time

Great friendly staff daft rules not being able to smoke in the beer garden with a beer unless you pay £25. Other pubs in the area to choose from which you can enjoy a beer and cigarette with no charge.

Recently, a group of us continued to celebrate a friend's birthday at The Victoria pub in Aldershot, after enjoying an excellent Nepalese meal at the Gagan Chulo restaurant in Station Road. We enjoyed excellent service at The Victoria from friendly staff who even served our bottles of Prosecco at our table. Beautifully presented! A relaxed atmosphere and we all enjoyed the music which even encouraged us to have a dance. Everyone in the pub was having a very good time and we all felt very safe. The helpful security staff on the door checked us in quickly and efficiently. I think this helped us feel safe and contributed to the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The Victoria also has an excellent food menu, serving both Nepalese and British food. Excellent quality and good value! We often order food while watching football.

We recently celebrated 71st Birthday of our dearest friend Mary. She thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of the Victoria pub staffs. The crowd was friendly and ambience was very great. Will be visiting soon again. One of the best birthday bash ever.

Quality food served with warmth of hospitality. Good customer service to delicious mouth watering well balanced spices. The food gets more enhanced by the professional staff that this place has. They know what they doing. It goes without saying especially for one person over there -Lesaa . Lesaa Inspite of her busy table services was carrying herself with grace and positive smiles, ensuring each and every table she served was sparkling with her graceful hospitality. I go to vic neley evrey week (sometimes more than once) and its always clear that the staff is a big family and they look happy to be here. We always get amazing serves and large portions of food and of coruse shisha and i also recomend their club nights fridays and saturdays.

Rubbish. Had to walk around a group of 5 men smoking at the entrance. To get to the bar and have my gin served in a dirty glass. To go to the table to have it covered in someone else's food. To walk out the door after my drink around under 5s playing cars in the entrance. Yes it was 6.30pm. But kids shouldn't be playing in the doorway to a pub on a Friday night. If you could fix one thing out of the above. It would be the smoking. I do not want to have to walk around smoker's to get into a pub.

This place used to be good, but security staff are too rude and aggressive. They lack common sense and do not know how to communicate with members of the public. They do not know how to interact with people. You should hire people who are trained properly. If they treat badly, people are not going going to respond in a nice way. On the other hand, if you treat people properly, chances are, they are going to respond better. They also say things which are not true and just come across as individuals who think that they have power over others and have let that perceived amount of power go to their heads. They are not smart people because of the way that they act. This is disappointing because I have had such positive interactions with members of security staff at other places. I do not know what is wrong with these people, but they do need to adjust their attitudes.

I used to go to this place for a drink and occasionally a meal. It has really gone downhill. The doorstaff are seriously rude and need some training on how to interact properly with members of the public. Their lack of common courtesy and professionalism was disconcerting. Their attitude was ovely aggressive, rude, abrupt and off-putting. If one takes the time to greet people in a courteous manner, then it is highly likely that people who want to attend shall reciprocate. Perhaps it was the case that they were not regular members of staff, but if I was the manager, I would be disgusted at their treatment of members of the public. Their conduct was concerning. I subsequently went to The George and was greeted warmly by a member of the door staff. They interacted properly with people and spoke nicely. They took the time to greet people, which makes a substantial difference. Some members of staff need to re-evaluate the way they treat other people. They should think about how they want to be treated when they attend a venue.

Me my husband and a friend went to the Victoria for a drink Friday night. We were asked for ID which is a joke as we are all in our 50s. As we didn’t have any we were refused entry. When I went and complained about this I was told they had to be careful who they let in, I was was told this was because of Tony the window cleaner. I’m sorry I will not be tarnished with the same brush. I guess most of the drinkers are under age in there.

Just needs a decent premium lager like Morreti !!!! ditch the 3cheap nastylagers (fosters, carlin and carlsburg on tap. Don't need to serve the 3 worst beers and will be 5 star please get MORETTI

Nothing special. Was there out of necessity. Want a real pub? Try the Trafalgar.

Recently booked a vip area for 12 of us for a birthday definitely worth the money paid Alex and the rest of the bar staff were excellent and the drinks supplied as part of the package were greatly appreciated. Fantastic pub atmosphere could not ask for more. Thanks guys see you again soon.

I spent a lot of time in this pub when I lived there. I have seen a lot of improvements in the past few months. I believe this pub will be amazing. The staff is great and super friendly.

One of the greatest pubs I’ve been to, the staff are always friendly with big bright smiles on their faces. They are always happy to help, the food is prepared and cooked to the best quality, you will never go hungry eating there. Management are always professional dressed smart with a smile. I highly recommend coming in for a drink and a bite to eat.

Shocking lack of covid control. Track and trace book was scribbled in with no clear names and zero phone numbers!! Masks worn under chin by manager and staff behind the bar preparing drinks and those serving.. guests aloud to mix tables and walk around without masks .. as if there was no pandemic... Shocking safety management !!

Burger was good. Better than I actually expected. Fresh and juicy and the meat quality was excellent as well.

Such a wonderful place with wonderful staff. Perfect for any occasion. Made our girls night out very special. I recommend 100%

Excellent place to visit. Music is brilliant, good vibes on the weekends. The food was good. Best cocktails around. Weekly promotions on drinks, all house drinks mon-fri £5 each and offers on shots. Great hospitality. Also under new management, owners are lovely people. Definitely best place to be in aldershot.

Both our Mac dishes arrived cold. The Garlic Bread and Chicken Wings were hot. But the Mac was cold and dried out. Terrible.

This pub is now Nepalese owned and run, and the locals will do their best to make visitors feel unwelcome including starting fights, just last night a woman and a man were beaten up by 10 - 15 young Nepalese men resulting in both the man and woman being hospitalised after being kicked and stamped on. I will never go in there again.

Met up with friend's and had a great night. Met Phil and Keeley, the new Manager's, who were really welcoming and attentive. They even brought out items from the new menu for me and my mate's to try. I know it was free food, but wow did it taste good. All n all, it was a great night, great mate's, great food and great hosts. Will definitely be going back again.

I visited this venue as they had a children's Halloween party hosted by a friend of a friend. Very clean and friendly place atmosphere was great. The Halloween party was a great experience for both me and my children Charlotte hosted did lots of games and a disco and made sure all the families had fun she even had a personalised certificate and a sweet cone for every child that came. All in all great experience at the Victoria very reasonable prices on food and drinks and a lovely atmospheres and thank you Charlotte for a wonderful time we can't wait for your Christmas party.

My kids loved the halloween party organised by Charlotte Armsworth on Sunday evening. There were lots of games to entertain them with prizes and a certificate and sweet cone at the end to. The food was very reasonable. Great family atmosphere, thankyou.

Gone down hill the lemonade and coke taste awful like fizzy water and the food is not as good as it used to be service not very good either it's a shame because I used to love this place and now I don't recommend this place any longer

Popped in for a few drinks while visiting friends in the area, staff were very welcoming and friendly. Very reasonably priced pub food as well.

This is a typical old skool town centre boozer, that perhaps does have a place in most towns. Not really for me, and my comments are based upon that premise only. Staff were friendly, but floors and tables sticky with spilled ale, smoke stench everywhere and the place felt like a fight was going to kick off anytime soon.

Only had a jacket potato with pulled pork but was done perfectly!!!!! Nice and simple, friendly staff too!

Do not go to this pub, I went to the ladies toilets and when I left my cubicle to wash my hands there was a man using the ladies in a cubicle next to me with door open. When I told the barmaid she did nothing! Disgusting! This is not the first time I've witnessed th this same male going into the ladies! And the staff allow it! It's vile!!

Very friendly pub with staff focused on customer service. We decided to book an early Christmas dinner and were not disappointed. Our chosen starters were soup (which came with warm bread) and mushrooms with Stilton served with ciabatta. Main course was traditional turkey dinner with pigs in blankets, roast potatoes with garlic, vegetable medley, delicious gravy, Yorkshire pudding. Dessert had to be Christmas pudding - moist and fruity - with custard or ice cream. Our table was nicely decorated with sparkly silver table runner, small Christmas decorations and Christmas crackers - a nice touch which made it more of a special occasion. The price was also very competitive. This venue works for couples and would be ideal for office Christmas parties. We will definitely visit again soon.

Came to the Victoria alone and straight away it was very clean and looked after. The bar lady was very cheerful and helpful and the coke glass was clean with ice and fruit. The pub has a great lay out and a nice little smokers area. The toilets were stocked and clean and they had a good variety of drinks and food to offer with great deals!!

Staff are always friendly I can't fault that. This is the main reason I go there preferably to the George opposite. The prices are also really good and there's always somewhere to sit. It's a sports bar but it's not always the main attraction. There's a smoking area and clean toilets. There is also a pool table and mini football table

Came here a while ago for a romantic meal with my partner. After that we both threw up at home and had a belly ache next day. It was either the food was dodgy or the beer taps need cleaning

Took my family there for lunch last weekend, brilliant atmosphere as the football was on, had to wait about 20 mins for food but they did say it was quite busy in the kitchen so we didn't mind the wait and when the food arrived it looked and tasted amazing, also great prices on food and drinks, great visit so we may venture here for lunch more often

Not too many customers, few old boys ready to watch the match on television and a few having lunch, we had an all day breakfast and a beef and ale pie.

I visited on a Monday night, first time in two years as I work bi-annually on Farnborough Air Show. Our team has used The Vic at least 5 or 6 times over a 3 week period around each show so I was looking forward to be back. It as busy, which I am always pleased to see but Oh dear, maybe as it was a football night, there seemed to be a yob element. There was loud piped music that some youths chose to sing along to very loudly and very poorly.

Met a friend in Aldershot decided to call in here for drinks. Sadly coffee machine out of action, but lady behind bar was nice and friendly so we stayed for wine. Didn't have time for a lunch, but menu looked good, and we will go back next trip. It was quite fresh and clean, which is a definite plus - some Aldershot pubs are dark, dank and no one wipes the tables!

We come from Swansea to see family in Aldershot on a regular basis. We always meet at The Victoria and usually end up spending quite a bit of the day there!! Great food and great service, always a friendly welcome. Can't wait to go back!

Can't go wrong. Use this place a lot for a few beers some food and to watch the footy. Theres always a good selection of drink which are very reasonably priced.

After going to several restaurants tonight and being too busy to get a table we decided to come here to have a meal and a drink.

We visited the Victoria to meet up with family who live locally for a Sunday lunchtime meal. It is a typical town centre pub with all the usual pool table and game machines, but looking more closely they do a good selection of pub food and the pricing is very reasonable.

Visited the Victoria in Aldershot and was amazed at how the place had been turned round. I visited here a few years ago and it was poor but the service given, the atmosphere and the attentiveness of the staff yesterday really blew me away. Well done and thanks, I will be back!

We had lunch here and it has really improved since previous visits. The staff are very friendly and professional, the food is good honest pub grub, but excellent value, I had the scampi and my son had the lasagne which came to about £11. The beer I had on draught was superb, the best pint in Aldershot.

Went there saturday to watch the football they have lots screens good atmosphere.
