Lovely little garden for children with pigs, chickens and rabbits. Nice chilled atmosphere.

This pub is a gem for good quality & authentic Thai & English food. It was our first visit to this village pub attracted by the online menu. We all enjoyed tasty Thai options for around £11.00 & I have my eye on their 8oz Sirloin steak for £16.95 for my next visit which seems terrific value these days (gastro pubs take note). The substantial beer garden was a lovely place to dine & enjoy the Surrey brewed ales in the sunshine of our visit. Parts of pub date back to Tudor times with an interesting history.

Back in the day extreme right wingers like neo Nazis, national front, edl and bnp used to openly hate foreigners at this wonderful establishment. Now they have to hide it and it's bloody shameful. Why can't people show their hate for non-white at this truly British establishment? This country is going down the pan with Labour taking over and giving people, including non-white equal rights. Well, I won't be drinking here again, because I can't wave my German WW2 flag openly in the club and it deeply upsets me.

A lovely cafe inside Tesco. Friendly and attentive, with good food and coffees. Will be sorry to see H&H go from this Tesco pub early May. Wishing the staff well!

Nice cafe just off the shopping centre by the cinema. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick and efficient. Bagel was lovely 😍

Service was friendly enough and luckily plenty of room for all 8 in my group to sit. However, there was flies everywhere which made it a fairly unpleasant experience. There was also a dead fly in my son's beans. When I took it back, they found more dead flies in the beans 🤢. Disappointed by only 3 choices on the menu, Also, no mention of allergies/what was in the pies. If I had known there was mushrooms in the pie I would not have ordered it.

Very different from previous visits. We were served cold food and asked for it to be replaced. Was brought out cold again. We were polite with the workers and the manager Woody was outrageously rude to my mums fiance. “ I didn’t cook the food I am not the chef “. Shocking service and something I have never experienced from staff speaking to a paying customer in this way. Absolutely fuming and would advise everyone to stay clear of the white buck and there rude arrogant manager.

Good selection of food . Excellent wild boar . That rare thing, a tasty burger. Chips looked apetizing and were certainly OK but not quite up to rest of the meal. Friendly and timely service. A party in at the time seemed to be having a jolly time . Seemed to be a popular venue.

Stumbled upon during a day trip to Brighton. The atmosphere, the service, the Sunday lunch was awesome! Will definitely be back!

Went for Sunday lunch. We both had the pork belly and it was AMAZING! Best Sunday lunch locally by far. As well as the excellent quality food, the service was fabulous. We will definitely be back!!!

Fantastic family dinner, staff were very accommodating and well versed on all wines and food on the menu. Would always come back here, and the steaks were sublime!!!

A pleasant chicken Kiev, however, all three steaks of incredibly poor quality. Our waitress, Abbie, was very attentive and we couldn’t fault her. Our food took an unreasonable time to come out for all courses. We were told this was due to a ticket machine error, so we’ll take that at face value, although we don’t believe this is the reason why. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy so if there had have been an error, I would’ve thought the lack of food on our table would’ve been a giveaway. Not sure we would return in a hurry. Nothing special and nothing that stood out particularly other than the faultless service from Abbie.

We visited the new and much improved Playa for food and drinks on a Saturday evening. The new décor makes for a lovely relaxing atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious, there has clearly been a lot of time and effort spent in making this a truly enjoyable place to visit. I will definitely be visiting again.
