The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Oh dear … after our previous good visit back in the summer we decided to come back and treat ourselves to tea and cake but oh my how it’s changed !!! The toilet was filthy the food didht look appealing and welcome was non existent . Wont be coming back I’m afraid . Such a shame I won’t recommend again.

I feel aggrieved by the event here NYE 2024. The ticket listing and event stated Curry and pint for "1st tier" tickets for £20. Paid £80 for four tickets. Only to find you get a few entrées/nibbles and have to pay EXTRA for the curry. This was misleading information/pricing as at NO point was it stated as having to pay EXTRA for a curry. This definitely WILL effect my coming to further events with this brewery if that's how they will treat patrons. I won't be falling for your con again. Yet again, a brewery/pub rips you off at NYE. Shameful.

Poor menu choice. Very meat/burger oriented. Very limited choices for a vegan, vegetarian or children. We were the only ones in there on what would be a popular day of the week for a lunch out. Staff appeared to have needed more training.

I'm a regular here, but don't let that put you off my recommendation. This place is now open 24 hours which is great when you finish work at around 00.30 and need some good grub. The Scooby Burger is the one to go for if your hungry (you won't be hungry afterwards) at £8 it's a bit steep but good for what you get. Recommended defo

Well since my last review this Gerrards cross in bucks , Nero cafe has gone down hill ! The sitting area is untidy and it seems a haven for pet dog owners too! It’s a small cafe , so the dogs just make trip hazards and it’s unhygienic! Then it’s an also a sanctuary it seems for mothers to breastfeed feed their babies , with no respect for other customers eating etc ! Come on this isn’t a restful and enjoyable environment for the everyday customer Please rectify

Since moving to Bishops Waltham I have found some lovely local shops and enjoy a wander around the HIgh Street, This Sweet Shop sadly in the exception !! I have taken my GrandChildren in there several times as the concept is great - a mixture of traditional old fashioned sweets in jars / chocolates and pick and mix = Plus ice cream . Sadly the experience is completely ruined by very unfriendly / unhelpful staff who are appear to be irritated by children ...... After our last visit I have decided that I am no longer prepared to put up with rudeness in order to buy sweets for the kids !

The new menu is good like the burgers and nachos especially and the side dishes were lovely. The puddings, however, were disappointing either flavourless or not made in house. You can’t say raspberry coulis or similar and stick a tiny raspberry on the top with a shop bought biscuit. Shame !

Just had a two night stay here as I was attending an event at the Waterside theatre. The location is great with only a 10 minute max walk into town. The rooms were stylish and comfortable and there was a good selection of food and beverages plus plenty of seating inside and out in the garden. Thanks to Will for a friendly welcome and great service at breakfast each morning! Will definitely book to stay if coming to Aylesbury again.

Ordered 2 roast dinners from the Merry Miller. Food was delicious! Plenty of fresh vegetables, gravy and a lovely Yorkshire pudding to mop up the gravy. Fully recommend this Sunday takeaway dinner 😋

Good little pub with nice staff

Stopped off for a quick pint whilst waiting for my train. The pint of Staropramen i ordered cost £7. After a few sips I noticed an unappealing eggy smell so I politely asked for it to be changed, the staff member smelt it and said there must be something wrong with my nose as she couldn't smell anything and if I wanted it changed I would have to buy another! This is a new low in customer service, rude, insulting and failing to recognise an issue without so much as an apology. Absolutely disgraceful!
