The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in South East

Delightful, vibrant place. Chloe especially was extremely friendly and helpful, but the other staff treated us very kindly as well! Not in Brighton often but may have to come here every visit. And the truffle parmesan chips are just godly.

Absolutely loved the burrata which I had for my starter. Worth visiting for that dish alone. Melts in your mouth and looked such a picture on the plate with beetroot. Loved my main too - mushroom risotto - perfectly cooked, loved it. Our waitress, Evie, was so lovely and attentive and so sweet with our dog too. I’m going back asap for more!

We held a book launch with live music on Friday evening. The atmosphere was great, very friendly, very accommodating. Sharona was really helpful even though it was an exceptionally busy evening. Toilets are lovely, staff are generally very friendly, and the ambience is great. We will definitely hope to return for future events

They don't take cash, unless you give exact change. I rounded up and paid cash. The decent barman actually tried to give me change but his colleague over ruled him - so I didn't get my change. It's a typical gastro pub - a restaurant in a former pub- same paint, same furniture, same lights you see everywhere.

Moved to the island only 1 year ago, we found this little gem of pub. Always greeted by lovely staff and always a great atmosphere. At times it gets very busy but all the staff always doing there best to accommodate everyone. After reading some previous reviews, you can't please everyone and some people clearly have nothing better to do.

Lovely pub But arrived at 14:53, the pub shuts at 15:00 wanted a quick drink outside (prepared to take away) but doors all locked up. Disappointing

Nice enough pub, staff were friendly and decent beer, but the food wasn’t the best.

Stopped off for a quick pint whilst waiting for my train. The pint of Staropramen i ordered cost £7. After a few sips I noticed an unappealing eggy smell so I politely asked for it to be changed, the staff member smelt it and said there must be something wrong with my nose as she couldn't smell anything and if I wanted it changed I would have to buy another! This is a new low in customer service, rude, insulting and failing to recognise an issue without so much as an apology. Absolutely disgraceful!

We booked a table as we were excited to see the changes made. There was no reservation however, we did not want to stay as it is now a sports pub with large screens and very noisy. Gone is the lovely comfy seating area at the front and the wonder photo of the organisation pub is partly hidden now! We shall leave this place to the students. Sadly

Shabby, the waitress barely acknowledges you and sits on the floor of the pub looking at her phone… I asked to clean the table and she left all the crumbles/dirt from previous customers.

The new refurb works well, nice update to decor and seating arrangements . Good friendly staff. And the prices are reasonable compared to other local cafes.

Always lovely. I always love the Liver and Bacon as my partner never liked it, I always have it here……….gorgeous

We were staying overnight in our motorhome and were looking for a dog friendly pub with a cosy atmosphere, great food and service. Often difficult but the Broad Face exceeded our expectations. Thanks for a great night!
